About us

Bartlett Tree Experts has been providing scientific tree care since 1907. A 3rd generation, family owned business, our mission is the maintenance and care of the health and beauty of trees and shrubs. We are an international organization, with offices in Canada, England and Ireland. Our Research Laboratories advises us about the latest technological advances in arboriculture and assists our arborists with training updates. The laboratory networks with professionals at universities, government agencies, and allied industry groups. This enables us to provide state-of-the art procedures and techniques to our clients. Our arborists consult with other professionals for common projects and community interests. Our unique position in the green industry helps us further arboriculture as a science and a profession. We believe in providing pro-active property maintenance to avoid landscape problems or stop them early rather than “reactive” maintenance that is driven by situations and events. Professional accreditation include: TCIA Accredited, ISA Member, TCIA Member

Description of Work: We had one quite large tree, one medium-sized tree, and a sprawling juniper shrub removed and had extensive pruning done on several other trees.Two workers arrived right on time, worked efficiently but carefully, were very knowledgeable - and artistic. The arborist, Jon Heaton, who gave us an estimate in advance, was very knowledgeable and had helpful suggestions. The final cost was exactly what we expected. We'll have them return to remove stumps when the ground has thawed and will be charged separately for that.

Description of Work: On this visit they performed soil treatment to suppress the honeylocust plant bug. This is an annual service that has saved our tree. We use Bartlett's for nearly all our tree service needs and are highly satisfied with the quality of their work.

SET AN APPOINTMENT FOR 4PM, DIDN'T SHOW UP OR CALL TILL 4:30 PM. I CALLED TO CONFIRM THEY WERE THE COMPANY TO DO THE JOB. I WAS TOLD IT WOULD BE AWHILE BECAUSE OF A STORM WE HAD IN JUNE. I WAITED ANOTHER MONTH AND WAS TOLD I'D BE NOTIFIED 24 HOURS BEFORE THEY WOULD BE THERE TO TRIM. I CALLED AGAIN IN AUGUST AND WAS TOLD THEY WERE WAITING FOR THE TREE TO GO DORMANT IN LATE FALL EARLY WINTER. AT THAT POINT I TOLD THEM TO CANCEL IT AND LET THEM KNOW I WOULD HAVE APPRECIATED KNOWING THAT IN THE BEGINNING.
