They did a GREAT job. Their price was several hundred dollars less than the other company that bid. They climb the trees to prune them rather than using a cherry picker. The tree trimmers seem to really love their job.

Great service. Responsive and comprehensive report and estimate. Trimming was great. We hardly knew they were there they did such a thorough clean-up. It's very clear they are extremely knowledgeable about the trees and take great care in their work.

Top Notch has been very responsive and has done a great job. Most importantly, they took the time to explain the trees and shrubs that we have at our new home, how to deal with them this year and what kind of a program would make sense moving forward. They were very patient with our questions and made themselves available to help with answers. When we questioned whether one of the limbs on our large silver maple out front was still too close to the roof after trimming, they explained that they had trimmed it back to industry-standard clearance. Even so, they understood our concern and offered to come back to do a minor retrim for no charge if that would make us feel better. How rare!

Great job done by the entire team. Professional, caring about the property and about me. They came on time, cleaned up the entire mess, chopped the trunk into firewood and you would never know they were there (except, of course, one third of the tree is missing!). They will do all my tree/bush work in the future.

I called them the day that they were suppose to be there and they told me that the aborists was on vacation. They told me that they would try to send out another aborist today and if I was willing to wait around. I decided to look for someone else.

From the initial call, Mary was super professional. Erik came out asap and gave us a detailed quote on the work to be performed including listing the tree species (as a new home owner this was key to knowing what kind of tree we have.) He also pointed out that one tree needed spraying to avoid apple-scab (and gave a price for that too.) The job was completed by another arborist; they did a fantastic job and cleaned up nicely. I'd hire them in a heartbeat for other work!

They had us set up for an appointment a couple weeks out, but had a cancellation in the neighborhood and asked if it was OK for them to come out and do it now. One of the pine trees was extremely close to the house (many branches had been cut off one side of the tree to leave room for the house). The trees were all removed with no damage to the house. When they left there was no debris left behind whatsoever. They were out today to grind the stumps (I think it was actually a subcontractor) and were just as professional. The stumps were ground down and they shoveled up and carted away all the shavings. Except for the lack of grass, you would hardly know there had been trees there in the first place.

The work was done in a very timely manner and we're pleased with the job.

This company was a pleasure to work with. Beth responded promptly to our request for an estimate, and the price was well in line with other estimates we received. Tony and his crew were able to take down a large tree in a tight spot with care and accuracy. Beth and Tony carefully planned the work and minimized damage to our garden. Our lilac hedge was vastly overgrown -- no matter what we did, it wasn't going to look good. Tony made it look much better than we ever thought it could. They were on time, efficient, and clean-up was outstanding. We'll use them again!

Was a great consultation by Jim Sorvick. Learned a lot about trees in general and the trees in our property. Got some recommendations on care for our remaining trees. Learned that our trees are not diseased. The one we lost was growing on the boulevard and it was probably just too stressed with all the hot dry summers we've had.

Rebecca was here on time. She and the workers who came out were all clean and well dressed, personable and did their work professionally. The yard was cleaned up afterward.

Rebecca and her crew was awesome. They provided an accurate estimate, were always on time and did exactly what they said they were going to do. I have used Majestic Tree Care in the past and will do so in the future. I do not hesitate to refer business to Rebecca.

They basically had to shut down the entire street but were professional and did a fantastic job, I was very pleased. The tree had fallen across 3 lots after a major storm and they removed the whole thing.

The arborist came out promptly to determine the estimate for the work to be performed; however, getting the service date wasn't so prompt. I called twice over a 2 week period before I received a call back with the service date, which was another 2 weeks out. Tom and Joe, the pruners, were very professional and nice, and I thought they did a wonderful job. I could have gone with somebody else for $50 less and 2 weeks sooner, but I wanted somebody certified.

I first found Majestic's name on a list provided by the city. A friend told me that she has used them in the past with great satisfaction. We acquired 11 bids for this removal. A four man crew arrived at 9am and immediately went to work. Two climbed the tree and two stayed on the ground. This job was particularly tricky because of the many obstacles; power lines, two fences, two sheds, a gazebo, another tree, overhanging the neighbor s property. They took this large tree down by hand piece by piece. Every single cut was precise and controlled. They were very careful to minimize the damage that couldn't be helped. Later in the afternoon the owner s of the company arrived to help. The cleanup was beyond expectation. A very tired and impressive crew left our house at 8pm. This whole experience was amazing. They will be back to plant replacements. I wholeheartedly reccoment this company.

The city of Minneapolis marked an Elm in my yard for removal due to Dutch Elm disease. I searched Angie's list, and, based on their ratings, picked 3 companies to bid on removal. 2 of the 3 were very close on their bids (within $50), but Top Notch was a more than DOUBLE the price (and they were the slowest to provide a bid and they told me I'd need to ask the city for an extension on the 30 day removal requirement if I wanted to use them because they were quite busy). I'm sure they do good work, but I can't imagine why they would come in so high.

They provided good information in a written estimate, but the estimate was $700 more than the next closest for the same service. It also took them two days more to provide an estimate than the other two companies contacted. This would have been fine, except I had serious concerns about the safety of the tree.

They were there the day after I received and approved the estimate! They did exactly what I requested of them and and cleaned up every single twig when they were done trimming. I WAS TOTALLY SATISFIED WITH EVERYTHING!

Great! Rebecca is very personable and knowledgeable. She first came out in March to look at the tree, and said she'd check again in May to make sure it was disease-free (which it needs to be to get the inoculation). About a week after she gave it the okay in May, her crew was here to do the shots. I plan to follow-up with them for the booster shots!

Carl (and his 2 assistants) were punctual, polite and finished the job in a timely and efficient manner. They cleaned everything up and made sure the work was completed to my satisfaction before leaving. Carl said that someone will be back to grind down the shrub stumps.

I called two weeks ago on a Tuesday and they said they would deliver by the end of the week. The week went by and there was no delivery. I called on Saturday but they were closed so I left a message to have someone call me back with a new scheduled delivery. Now, two weeks after my first call, no one has gotten back to me. I called today and they still have my name and credit card information and said they would make the delivery as soon as possible. We'll see how that goes.

Jim, our arborist, was knowledgeable and courteous and performed the assessment of our trees last year. He was very responsive to our phone calls. He managed to work out a schedule for concurrent jobs on our trees and our neighbor's trees, which was very much appreciated. The crew arrived promptly in the morning on the scheduled day in February of this year. It was a large crew because the job was big. I can't say enough about the crew. They worked steadily and efficiently all day, maneuvering a variety of equipment. They also impressed me with their ability to maneuver two large trucks around the lot, and one of them down a narrow driveway at one point. The crew members were very responsive to some requests that we made. They worked very hard, and cleanup was excellent. While the project was expensive, it was not out of line, and the fine work they did was worth every dollar. We were very satisfied.

We were very happy with the knowledge and service of the company. The consultation with the arborist included and examination and identification (very helpful!) of all of the trees on our property, as well as recommendations. We ultimately scheduled trimming of two trees. The work was done well and the crew cleaned up after they were finished.

The overall experience was very professional. My arborist called promptly to confirm the style of pruning (radical orchard pruning or normal residential tree pruning) that I wanted, called the business day prior to the service, and called promptly when the 10+ inches of snow received would interfere with the service. He called with a prompt rescheduled date and called at the completion of the service. I was surprised by the final call because there were limited tracks in the snow to the back yard, and the site was clean and clear. The price was less than anticipated. I have used this service for years and have never had an unpleasant experience.

JOSH CAME OUT AND GAVE ME A BID ON THE TREE REMOVAL. HE WAS UPFRONT ABOUT DAMAGE THEY MIGHT DO TO THE LILAC TREES RIGHT BY THE TREE THAT WAS COMING DOWN. THE ONLY THING THAT BUGGED ME WAS IN TALKING TO OTHER TREE COMPANIES, THEY ALL MENTIONED THAT A FEW SECTIONS OF MY FENCE WOULD HAVE TO COME DOWN. JOSH SAID IT WOULDN'T BE NECESSARY. THE CHERRY PICKER WOULD FIT JUST FINE. I HAD A FEELING THAT IT WOULDN'T. I DIDN'T HIRE WITH THIS COMPANY. AND AT ANOTHER COMPANY'S REQUEST, I DID TAKE DOWN THE SOME FENCE SECTIONS. THE CHERRY PICKER JUST BARELY FIT - I MEAN INCHES TO SPARE.
