I feel bad I didn't perform this review much sooner this past year (2014), but better late than never. I initially learned about Bob as recommended through a local tree-trimming service (Limbs and Logs of which I've reviewed on Angies List), and I first contacted him mid-summer 2013 to obtain a quote for a paver patio. He stopped by so we could briefly look it over and had a pleasant chat. He sent me a quote, then we went on vacation, then a storm hit requiring us to need a new roof, etc., and before I knew it, summer flew by and was over. I contacted Bob the following spring (2014) and by the end of May he was here digging in. Bob shoveled out the entire patio area by hand while the dewpoint was quite high and he worked and sweated his rear end off out there, and probably shoveled out a few dozen full wheelbarrel loads of dirt from the patio area. By the end of the week, we had a wonderful new patio in and done and it was wonderful. He did a great job and I highly recommend Bob without hesitation. He was very personable, pleasant, and just an all around great person. I think I was able to get my patio done at a good time because I think he had other work beginning to get scheduled so we were able to enjoy the patio the entire summer. The patio is approximately 235 sq feet. It is somewhat of an L-shape patio due to adjoining sidewalk areas, and provides just enough area immediately behind our house and next to our garage. On the patio, we have a swinging bench-for-2, a patio table with umbrella which seats 6, a grill, and an area we can stack the patio chairs under a cover (rain) if we don't use them for awhile. We had a late summer party with about 9 people on the patio and we could have easily fit about a dozen people around on the patio very comfortably. We don't have company over often, but at least now we have an area we can entertain on when we do. Please don't hesitate to contact Bob if you have any similar plans, or any other items within the scope of work he is willing to do for you. In my opinion if you want a good job done by a good person for a good price, you should seriously consider contact Bob. I was unable to fully "thank" Bob when he finished due to my schedule, but I finished landscaping around the outer perimeter of the patio when he was finished...using some landscape rock I had stored in the backyard the summer before (from rocking around the house and garage) and after I finished up with that, it really looked great with the patio. Christmas is in just weeks as I write this and I have all intent to send Bob a Christmas card with our new patio (yes...my Xmas card photos this year are of our patio) to thank him for the great job he did

After initial contact, because the weather was nasty, it took a 2 weeks for Bob to come for the estimate. Once the estimate was complete and emailed to me it was within a week and half that the work was completed.

MEMBER HAS USED THIS COMPANY FOR A FEW YEARS. BOB IS VERY PLEASANT, HARD WORKING YOUNG MAN.
