Weld & Sons Plumbing

I called Weld and Sons Plumbing on Tuesday, 12/14 to make an appointment. I left a message and got a call back shortly. I had an appointment to have a technician come that day between 11-1. The technician, Ben Pullis arrived at 11:50 and was done by 1:30. He was pleasant and professional and cleaned up any mess he made. I would certainly use this company again for any plumbing work I needed. I especially liked the fact that my window to wait for the technician's arrival was only two hours. There have been may times when the appointment window is sometime most of the day and can really tie you to the house.

Went extremely well. I called on Saturday at 1:15 pm, there was no regular staff on but I was referred to an emergency number. I got Vic, who said that he would call me back shortly to set something up. He called back at 2:15 pm saying that he would be here in fifteen minutes. He showed up at 2:30 pm. He assessed the problem, explaining to me what had to be done. He proceeded with the work continuing to explain, making sure that I didn't miss anything. He completed the work in approximately one and one half hour.

Weld & Sons Plumbing has been my plumber since 2006. They are an amazing company with depth and real professionalism among all their workers. Whether the job is big or small, they enjoy "doing it correctly". The staff are really a joy to see when I need them. And they guarantee their work.

Showed up promptly at 7:30 a.m. Removed shoes without asking. Fixed the leaking faucet (even though there were no replacement parts because it was too old) and explained to me in detail what was wrong with it. Extremely clean, no sign that he had ever worked in the area. Very porfessional. Absolutely would recommend them to anyone.

Clyde arrived on schedule and got right to work. He cleared the toilet drain so that it flushed normally again and also cleared out the bathtub drain. He checked the work and did an efficient job.

John arrived on time. He did a good job, taking the time to do it well, and answered any questions I had. He was professional and friendly and I felt very comfortable having him work in my home. I was very satisfied with the experience and would call him again for any plumbing work I would need.

I called for an estimate and they were very courteous, prompt, friendly and helpful. They informed me of an available rebates for different models and quoted me different options over the phone. We set the appointment for the next week. They called the day before to confirm the appointment and then 15 minutes before arrival with some instructions. Clyde arrived exactly at the time he had given me over the phone and was very professional, friendly and extremely helpful. He made sure I knew about the rebate and how to apply for it. I was very pleased with the efficiency, professionalism and courtesy shown by all people I talked to from Weld & Sons. Thank you!

Darin is extremely knowledgeable and willing to share his knowledge, punctual, professional, and friendly. He responded very quickly to my on-line request, and had the work completed the next day. After this experience, if I have a problem with my boiler, I will call Weld first.

Great experience from the phone call to the service. I came home in the evening to a wet floor in my basement. I assumed it was the water heater. I pulled up angies list and called Weld due to the location and score. They answered right away and walked me through the process of turning off gas etc. They arrived earlier than scheduled as another job had been postponed. finsished quicky and left the room clean. They are my plumbing company fro that day forward.

The plumber arrived right on time and completed the work in an hour and 15 minutes. It took 15 minutes longer than estimated because he had to use a drill to get my old faucet out. He was very professional, efficient and neat.

Kevin arrived within the time frame given to me. He set right to work on the pipes. He completely replaced the leaking pipes. He took out the old disposal, installed the new disposal, and got it running. Everything was done in a timely and professional manner. I would call them again for plumbing work.

The work went perfectly. Don's crew showed up on time, knew what needed to be done, performed the work in less time than they expected, and invoiced me for the exact amount they estimated. The plumbing works as expected and looks very clean. I have them coming back to work on some other plumbing in my house.

We called Weld & Sons to look at our garbage disposal and kitchen sink, as they weren't draining properly. The initial call was handled very well: cheerfully and professionally. A plumber was scheduled for the next day, to arrive within a two hour window. The plumber called when he was 20 minutes away, and arrived near the beginning of the window. He worked, offered explanations of his work as he went along, was undaunted by our large dog, and even asked friendly questions now and again. The problem ended up being a clog some 50+ feet down the line, near a junction of pipes. He had to run a series of blades down to clear the clog, but did manage to get it cut through. He offered some advice on avoiding the clog in the future, gave us our bill, received our payment, refused a tip, and was on his way.

Clyde was very professional and polite. I needed the toilet and sink cleared. He performed the work in a timely manner, was very neat, and explained what he was doing. I would definitely call them again for plumbing.

While my husband was catching water in buckets from the heater, I discovered Weld & Sons at Angie's. All of their plumbers were on calls so we discussed what to do to slow down the water and what type of Water Heater we wanted. They were going to have me speak with a plumber to explain how to shut off the water from the heater from the main line so we could use water while waiting for a plumber when the Weld representative said a plumber had just finished a job and would be over to our house within 20 minutes. Ben arrived within that 20 minutes and immediately emptied out the remaining water in the heater. Another plumber came in to assist in removing the old heater and deliver the new heater. A few hours later the new heater was up an running. I had checked with one other plumber before calling Weld and they would not be able to come out until the next day. We were concerned that we would be without water until the next morning. I believe the Weld representative heard the concern in my voice when he said all of his plumbers were on jobs and went the extra yard to monitor the plumbers and secured a plumber for us as soon he finished a job so we would not have to wait until the next day.

Kevin was very professional, friendly and willing to answer questions. Kevin was familiar with gas log sets and new exactly what to do.

They performed the work in exactly the time frame they quuoted at the price they quoted. Very good service.

Did a great job, prompt, quick, very professional and personable. Second time I've used them for minor repair work. Would definitely recommend and use them again.

Service was excellent. Kevin was prompt, explained what the problem was with the heater clearly and answered all other questions completely. He was very friendly but also worked efficiently.

The only thing they screwed up was MAJOR item I didn"t notice until too late. The rough-in drain for the toilet was measured WRONG, so the new toilet barely fitted against the wall. I'm concerned about the possible mold from this. Watch out for the inexperienced apparentice! Other than that they did excellent job, professional and helpful.

We had a gas leak in our basement that was on old iron pipes right at a "T" joint. I was certain it would take hours to repair and cost a ton of money because I thought they'd have to redo a large portion of the gas pipeline. As it turned out, Mike came in, assessed the leak, and figured out a way to fix it without replacing the entire gas pipeline. Even the inspector from the gas company said I shouldn't be surprised if they had to take out a large portion of the line and start from scratch. I completely expected to be handed a bill for $1,000. When Mike finished the job--less than 2 hours later--and gave me a bill for $250, I couldn't have been more pleased! When I tried to give him a tip, he refused. When I tried to insist he take the tip, he refused (politely) again. I tried a third time and he said, "No, Ma'am. Just use us again." Well, you better believe that I will be using Weld & Sons Plumbing again and I have been singing their praises since I first contacted them. Everyone from the person who took down my initial information to Mike, the nice gentleman who did the work, was courteous, professional and friendly. Just when I thought good customer service is a thing of the past, I had a phenomenal experience! Thank you Weld & Sons. You guys are the BEST!!!

We had Kevin come out to the house in March to do some work, and it went so well that we had him out again to complete a job that we discussed the last time he was here, as well as another new job. He was as courteous and as professional as he was last time, and we are just as pleased with the work. He removed an old undermount drinking water filtration system that we haven't used in years, as well as our old garbage disposer. He streamlined and replaced the jumble of pipes under the kitchen sink, and it looks and functions great! He also replaced a leaking outdoor water faucet, along with several feet of pipe leading into the house. We will definitely call Weld and Sons again when we need them!

They were fine and were really good as well. They were very professional and accommodating. They did an excellent job and the price was very good too. I would use their services in the future too.

Excellent service. They came out on a very timely basis, identified the problem immediately and fixed it on the spot. They referred us to a wonderful restoration repair service to fix the water damage - and they came out the same day I called. All in all, prompt, professional and excellent service.

We had a problem with the water softener and came home to faucets full of that particulate when a water softener fails. We first had the company come out with the name of the brand on the current oftener (Surge). We were not comfortable with their explanation of the problem and the replacement costs for new equipment. Looked up a new name on Angie's List and Jeremy came out and repaired/cleaned/replaced. They rearranged the schedule and Jeremy was there early the next morning. Had to stay in a hotel one night because there was so much gunk in the lines. Toilets wouldn't flush, many faucets with no water, minimal pressure, etc. Jeremy was on time and WOW! cleaned up after himself. We decided to buy the new water softener from them as well. Great job!
