It was great. They were right on time. They were very polite, friendly, and knowledgeable. They were efficient. I felt like he worked hard to get it done quickly, since I was paying him by the hour. We are selling the house, and I called him again last night. I want to use him again.

If there was an A plus I would give it to them. I called this morning. The leak was not serious, but Mark scheduled me in today. He told me how to get ahold of the city to arrange to have the water shut off. Luckily my city said they could be out within 5 minutes. Clyde was out to my house in a few hours. He handled coordinating with the city so I was only without water for a short time. Clyde showed me the part that needed replacing and the new (and better) part he was using. It all went so smootjlyy, it is hard to believe I woke up with a water leak.Their price was fair. Clyde was courteous, informative and did a great job. I would definitely use Weld and Sons Plumbing again.

I emailed and got estimate. It looked reasonable, so I called for an appointment. They scheduled me that day. Right on time he showed up to do the work. Very quick. Very tidy. I highly recommend them.

I noticed a lot of water in my sump basin but the pump wasn't running. Having just purchased our first house last summer, I was a noob when it came to sump pumps and was convinced that a little more melted snow was going to leave my basement full of water. Weld & Sons were able to get someone out to the house just a few hours later. Clyde understood my neophyte status and walked me through the mechanics of the pump and what he was looking for. Turns out the float was lodged between the pipe, the electrical cord and the wall of the basin. He freed the float, rotated the pipe and lo and behold, it ran like a dream... except for the seam leak in the check valve. So he took care of that, too. I really appreciated his patience and explanation. I will definitely use their services again!

Our neighbor was having Weld do some work, so they were already in the area. I called the company & talked to Don Weld. He was extremely courteous & offered to have them stop by as soon as they were done at the neighbors. I was unsure as to how much this might cost, so I asked Don. He offered to do it at no charge since they had no travel time or expense. The inspection was done very well. The fellow who did the inspection (sorry I forgot his name) was very courteous and even removed his boots when he came in the house. I will definitely keep them in mind for future plumbing work.

I called Weld & Sons Plumbing in the morning. Told them what I needed and they gave me a ballpark estimate. They said they would be out between 12 & 2 p.m. on the same day. Kevin called and said he was on the way and arrived about 1:30p.m. He removed the old vanity sink and installed new including a new faucet. Old one was not serviceable and new one was a reasonable cost. Keven repaired kitchen faucet and works fine with no noises!!. Kevin was very thorough and methodical in his work, plus he's a great guy. It was a great experience to have him in our home. Will certainly have him back when needed in the future.

The plumber from Weld & Sons was on time and got right to work. He identified the problem, reset the toilet and tightened everything down snug. Gave me a good hint on leveling a toilet for the future. All works great and my wife is happy.

We called Weld & Sons Sunday afternoon, requesting a Monday service call. They called Monday morning and were out to the house by 9:30 am. Clyde was professional and friendly and very informative. He analyzed the problem and took a different approach than that of the previous plumbers. He tackled the problem from the kitchen sink, not the downstairs sink where it was backing up. He was able to clear the plug after using a 75 foot line and gave me advice on how to avoid a recurrence in the future. We have a number of rental properties and have now found our "go-to" plumber!

I asked Weld and Sons to go up in the attic with me. He diagnosed the problem quickly, and fixed it quickly (all in one trip). The house had settled a bit, and a pipe union had been stressed as a result. I'm a happy camper now!

The plumber was courteous and professional. The occupant of the house is 91 years old and she was very happy with the repairs and customer service. We felt that the bill was fair considering the amount of time and equipment it took to clear the line out to the street.

They did a very good job. They were very nice in explaining everything that needed to be done and letting us decide what we actually wanted to have done that day. He took his time to make sure that everything was working. He made sure that everything was running smoothly. We?re going to have him come back soon to do some more work.

We loved everything Weld did. Don, the owner, came out to do the estimate. He was very friendly. The workers did great work and they were very accommodating for us. We have 2 babies in the house and a lot of stuff around and they were very accommodating. They did a great job overall. We love it. They are plumbers you can trust. They are really good guys and they did good work.

When we called Weld on a Sunday morning after discovering a laser beam of water shooting out the side of a pipe leading into our water softener, we thought we had a plumbing emergency and were mentally counting the number of zeros on the check we'd have to write. Rather than take advantage of that (as a less scrupulous plumber might) Vic told us how to fix the problem temporarily until someone could come out on Monday. Sure enough, I got a call at 7:25 Monday morning letting me know someone would be at my door by 8:00, which he was. Kevin did a fantastic job and was finished by 9:30, leaving a spotless work area and no more leaks. Would definitely call them again!!

Arrived on time after calling to let me know he was on the way. Kept me informed of the details of the jobs including needing to remove some trim and change some of the plumbing to the dishwasher due to changes. Left everything neat and tidy.

They installed the provided water heater professionally, correcting a couple code issues in the process. They were prompt in response to my request. Left the work area neat and clean.

They were able to fit me in the morning after I called for an appointment, and at a time convenient to me. The plumber came on time, was very professional, did a good job quickly, and charged a reasonable price. I was very satisfied.

It went very well - I was impressed with the professionalism, appearance, and quick fix. I appreciated his frankness and not making me feel like a boob for getting in above my head on the spout repair.

He took apart the faucets and tried to fix the leak, but he found that we needed a few parts in order resolve the issue. We will be purchasing those parts and then calling him back to finish the work. They have been very professional and good.

We changed order from 3 items to 4, but they only did 1.5. They did the above, but not the bathroom faucet (washer only) and said we needed a whole new water softener. True maybe, but too expensive for just doing a few items.

Don Weld responded quickly to my request for an estimate and promptly provided a very complete, professional estimate. Of the three plumbing companies that I evaluated, Weld was the only one that pointed out safety and code violation issues with gas shut off valves and included their replacement in his estimate. Weld also provided many suggestions for alternatives for dealing with plumbing replacement issues whereas the other two companies only responded with alternatives when I prompted them with those suggested by Weld. The plumbers who did the job also went through alternatives that worked out even better. I was very pleased with their workmanship and how they got the job done. There were a few problems that came up for which they did very well at resolving. A problem with the bathroom sink required replacing the sink and they were able to get a new one ordered and installed the next day. An unexpected problem with the bathroom tub faucet replacement required ordering an extender to accommodate the thickness of the reinforced plaster wall. They returned as soon as the part was available and completed the job. Payment terms were very good. No payment was required until the job was finished completely. I received an invoice in the mail about 2 weeks after completion with a payment due date almost a month out. Weld & Sons is a top notch company in every regard. The only thing I would do differently would be to ask for prices up front when working with their preferred plumbing supplier, Ferguson. An advantage of going through Ferguson was access to a wider selection of fixtures than any retail store and help with ensuring that all needed parts were ordered to avoid trip charges to complete a job. I went through the list that they provided Weld after they had sent a quote for the fixtures and parts for the job and found that they had not ordered several items that I knew should have been included. Since the job had already been quoted, Ferguson included the omitted parts at no extra cost. Weld also provides a 10 % discount for parts purchased through Ferguson. I know that I probably could have saved quite a bit more on some of the fixtures if I had reviewed costs as part of the selection, so if you work Ferguson, request price information upfront and request alternatives if the costs seem to be higher than what you want to pay.
