Pretty simple...We had several faucets that were leaking and were ready to have them repaired. We called Weld & Sons, set up an appointment and Clyde came out and fixed the problems. He was personable, professional and did a great job!

Outstanding as always! They were so accommodating about scheduling me for next day service, despite their already full scheduIe. I have used this company numerous times before. They are prompt, professional, and just genuinely nice people to work with. When I called to schedule this appointment for numerous plumbing issues, Mark talked through each item with me, and offered advice in advance of their visit. He was also very willing to try to fit me into their next-day schedule, since I was already planning to be home from work that day for another appointment. Clyde was the technician who came to the house. He was great about listening and explaining. We talked through the various jobs I needed done, and he efficiently kept several jobs going at once. He was able to fix the old kitchen faucet (the handle had fallen off), so I would not have to replace it, but I opted for a new faucet anyway. He checked out a leak in my washing machine to determine whether it was a plumbing issue or an appliance issue, so I wouldn't call for an appliance repair unless it was necessary (and it is). He removed and repaired the tub lever for the drain, and cleaned out the basement floor drain. I highly recommend this company - good people who do good work; it's always a pleasure to work with them.

He was professional and it turned out all right. The drain is nice and clean. I think that he should have left the pipes alone. He did cause some temporary leaks. They were quick and on time.

It was extremely cold and it was a wonderful job that they did. The price was reasonable. They came out when a lot of people wouldn't.

Mark, from Weld & Co. called the day after they were contacted by Angie's list. I spoke with Ron, the owner, who accurately diagnosed my problem over the phone. I was called within a week and given a time and day a plumber would be here. He was a bit late, but that's not a problem .. he had a difficult job before me. Clyde was my service technician. He was a lovely man, obviously knows his business well, and completed the job within an hour, much to my satisfaction. I would not hesitate to use this company again. I am extremely pleased that Angie's List concierge found Weld and Co. for me.

Manny did a great job in replacing a broken water heater. He was very proffessional and did the job quickly, and the final price was very close to the quote that they made over the phone. I have used Weld Plumbing in the past, and have always found their work quality to be excellent. I have had them fix other plumbers poor work.

I first called to make an appointment and asked Sarah, office manager if we would have to have someone come out, only to discover what parts we need and then need to schedule again. She explained that the company has "runners" that can go out and get a part right away and so a second appointment is rarely needed. That was great. We have an odd model of Kohler. The flush pull is centered in the middle and on top of the tank. I explained this and she knew what I was talking about. Even came exactly on time, fixed the toilet in minutes and then I asked him if he could look at the other 2 problems while he was here. I had been told that the water filter cold lever could't be fixed by 2 other plumbers so I wasn't expecting much. However Keven showed me that it only takes a specialized screw driver to tighten the handle. Done. Same with bidet. Kevin explained everything he was doing in laymen language and was fast and efficient. Great price too.

Kevin was thorough and took pride In his work. He explained everything he did and confirmed it all with me. I will use them again in the future.

The folks at Weld and Sons are all incredibly punctual, communicative and professional. Ben Pullis with Weld and Sons came out to clean the drain. Despite the severity of the back-up, he was able to clean the system promptly. Further, I knew upfront what the cost was going to be for the service, which I appreciated. I always worry that I'll get a quote at the beginning that will continue to grow as the work is completed, and that didn't happen. Ben also provided some helpful advice in maintaining the old pipe into the future. I'll definitely call on the Weld and Sons for future jobs.

The reason for having this shop to fix the problem was due to that the shop claimed they would fix both the plumbing and any sheet rock/dry wall repair/restoration which would relate to the plumbing fix. The actual work was replacing the trap by opening up a small hole on the 3cm thin broad underneath of the trap. The worker did not repair the broad after the trap replacement as they promised. The whole thing took about one hour to finish and I later found the shop charged this job for one and a half hours of labor. So I brought this issue to Mark, who was the one communicating with me via email for the job, on 6/17. I was told to get back to me after reviewing. But I have never heard of anything from this shop since then. (Today is 7/16!) This is my first time to use Angie?s list and the first time to use this shop for my repair needs at home. However, most likely, I will not use this shop for any my future plumbing work.

Our new home inspector recommended that a corroded floor drain in our basement be replaced as it may be seeping sewage gas. I called a few different service providers that estimated $1000+ for a replacement drain. I called Weld and Sons and was put through to the owner who asked that I text him a picture of the corroded drain. After looking at the picture he said that the drain just needed to be cleaned and new plug should be added. He was 95% confident that a complete drain replacement would not be necessary. He was upfront about the cost of the service. Scheduled the service and the technician (Ben) was out a few days later. Ben was punctual, worked quickly, cleaned everything up nicely, and showed me that the cleaned and plugged drain was draining water like a champ. Indeed a complete replacement was not necessary. The service fee was exactly what the owner had quoted. Ben also answered other questions I had about my basement and had some good recommendations. Overall I was really pleased with the entire experience and would call Weld and Sons again in a heartbeat.

It went great! They were on time, prompt and friendly. Chris is the one that did the work, and Don came out to inspect it. Chris was really nice and answered all of my questions. Before he left, he clarified how my furnace worked so I could do some of the drainage myself.

(1) After installing a diaper sprayer on my 1st floor toilet, I had water leaking in the basement at 10pm. In a panic I called Weld and Sons. The after hours operator said he could come out, but first talked me through the situation and the likely issue. He was spot on and I corrected the issue myself and at no cost! (2) Because they had been so good to us with the late night call, I had Weld and Sons replace our outside faucet. The technician was prompt (even early!), diagnosed the problem with the original faucet, but advised us to replace given the time involved in making the repair. He quickly did the replacement and was on his way within an hour. Couldn't ask for a better experience.

These guys were great from the initial consultation up through the work that was completed. The are extremely knowledgeable, flexible and do solid work. I had my estimated plan on how I wanted to add a second bathroom to my basement and they came in and walked me through how they could do what I wanted, but beyond that gave me another opinion on how they would recommend completing the work. I was impressed that they didn't completely dismiss my idea/plan as a "dumb" homeowner, but talked through how they would complete it based on my idea, but then said, "here's my recommendation if you want my opinion". I ended up going with their opinion versus mine because of how well he explained why he was recommending what he was. As far as the actual work performed, they did a wonderful job with protecting my home and stuff I had in the basement by hanging plastic and laying blankets over everything. I wasn't as well prepared for the job as they would have liked, but were very flexible with the work. I should have had my fixtures for the second bathroom picked out so they knew exactly where to run the lines. However, they did an excellent job talking through ideas and coming up with a solid plan that allowed them to complete the work but leaving options available depending on what fixtures we end up purchasing. They will be coming out again in the near future to complete the rest of the plumbing work, but were able to work ahead and get some of the phase 2 work completed without delaying any of the phase 1 work. On a separate trip they came out to clean out the main drain line to the street as I've been having issues with some water backing up and gurgling. They were in and out in no time, showed me exactly what they were doing and the price was significantly more realistic than other companies I had priced out. I would highly recommend these guys for any plumbing work you are looking to have done or are looking for experienced, knowledgeable staff to educate and recommend options.

It went well. Showed up when expected. worked efficiently and neatly. Put back everything he removed to work.

When we called they said they were booked until Thursday, however they were able to squeeze us in on Tuesday afternoon and complete job for much cheaper than expected. Tim, the plumber, was also a very good guy.

Tech didn't show up during scheduled block. I called company and tech called me saying he was running late. Tech showed up 4,5 hrs after scheduled block start. He looked at my issue, and then decided there was no work to be done. He was at my house for less than 10 minutes. Then he was supposed to charge me a minimum of one hour service and the call fee. I said no and called the company which then called him. They said he could bill for half hour service plus the call fee. He has to collect at the time of visit. So $120 later, no work done, and he was excessively late without notifying me. none too happy and won't be using this company again should I need anything.

The plumber arrived on time, identified the problem, and easily solved it. He also made sure the problems I created trying to do it alone were resolved correctly. Super helpful, fast, and friendly. They'll be doing other work for us in the future.

Clyde was very informative about my plumbing issues. Fixed leaking drain pipe in basement that had not been up to code. He replaced part of pipe. I had talked to other plumbers, but Clyde was the best. He saved me money. I will call again for any problems. Awesome!

Ben Pullis came for the second time to help us deal with drainage issues, this time from the main line. Ben is contracted by Weld & Sons for drain cleanouts. He is FABULOUS. Professional and helpful attitude. Knowledgeable. Willing to go the extra mile. Neat & clean in performing dirty work. Very smart and can think out of the box. He is a kind and humble man with a supersmart head on his shoulders. He asked me numerous questions to make sure I was treating my drainage/sewer system as kindly as I should be. He was observant and noticed that cleaning wipes were found in the cleanout (we don't flush them but our dog sitter must have done so last week!) and he wanted to make sure I knew what was safe for my sewer system and what wasn't. As a woman home alone, I felt totally safe with him in my house. My dogs liked him; that says a lot.

I love these guys. We have used them a few times over the past 6 years. They are professional, clean, trustworthy, smart, kind and do the right thing. My husband made the appointment and I am guessing he neglected to tell them we actually had a leak, because they sent their (amazing) contractor drain cleanout guy rather than someone with a higher level of licensing that could actually fix the problem. I am guessing that this was a communication issue on our end rather than theirs because they are pretty meticulous. He analyzed the leak issue, did a cleanout, discussed with me what he thought the problems in our system were, replaced one part, and informed us that to deal with another part someone with a different license was required. He could have completed it, but that would have been unethical and he was clear about what his capabilities were. While I was bummed about having to bring in another person, I was so impressed with his level of ethics. And after using them several times, there are two things about this group that continually impresses me: 1) their ethics and 2) their high level of expertise. Just make sure you really tell them what the problem is.

He was knowledgeable, professional, helpful, reliable. He wasn't expecting to do the caulking (my husband made the call!!!) but did so anyways. It was a somewhat complicated mystery as to what was leaking and he relied on the report made by the previous guy who came to clean the drain, but made sure that he knew exactly what was going on. He was clean in his presence and in his work. Cheerful. Serious about his work.

After the first guy failed to show I called Weld & Sons and within a couple hours Ben Rallis of Weld showed up, did a quick inspection and had the drain cleared and running in less than a hour. He also made a couple of suggestions to avoid a repeat. Ben was knowledgeable, neat and polite. Would definitely call then again for plumbing problems.
