Clyde was wonderful. He was quick and efficient and showed me how to turn my water off in case of an emergency. He made sure everything was up and running before he left. Although, he couldn't 100% identify what was wrong with our refrigerator, he gave 2 suggestions; replacing the water filter and/or replacing the tube that runs from the refrigerator to the water supply. We replaced the water filter and our water now works!

I can't believe how stress-free the experience was. Weld and Sons were the second company I called- and they gave me a rough estimate of cost even before coming to my house! Which was so nice. Ben P. came out the next day and cleared the drain. Based on our conversation, determined it wasn't the main line. He even tightened my kitchen sink drain-free of charge! Ben was on time, clean, professional, and gave me his insight and advise. He was in and out of my house really quickly but also got the job done. Great guy!

Weld and Sons from phone call to service was A+. They were able to squeeze me in next day on the hour! Both of my valves were a ticking water bomb from my water main. Indoor pools sound cool on paper, but my basement wasn't designed for it. They were able to come down when the city came to shut off my water and replace both failing valves to shiny new ball valves. He got them both replaced and answered a few questions in 1.25 hours. At the time of service, they charge $72 for a house call, and $136/hr plus parts.

Had another company come out for a sump pump safety check. He couldn't get the main pump to discharge (there is also a battery backup which did work.) Called to have Weld & Son do the replacement as the other company quoted a very high price. Kevin was out the next day on time and immediately found that the pump was in fact working and that it was probably frozen at the time of the safety check (which the other company didn't seem to consider.) No new pump was needed. Had a little more time left on the 1 hour minimum and Kevin asked if I had anything else needed attention. He then fixed a leaky flapper on my toilet. Very happy with the professionalism and honesty of Kevin.

I contacted Weld & Sons based on a referral and they lived up to their exceptional reputation. My initial contact was for a new water heater. After having contacted two other plumbing companies, Weld & Sons came in with an estimate that was less than half of their competitors. Once the technician (Zach) arrived, I explained to him that we were installing the water heater because we were moving and that we had other plumbing needs that had been identified by an inspector just the day before. Zach stated that he would be happy to take care of all of my plumbing needs on the spot - talk about quality service. Another employee took care of the necessary permits immediately, and upon completion of the water heater installation, the other needs were addressed. While working on a broken flapper in one of our toilets, Zach told us that it would be cheaper for us to simply purchase and install a new toilet than to pay for the replacement part and have them come back to install it - honesty at its best. Additionally, while installing a p-trap under the upstairs kitchen sink, an old pipe was identified as completely rusted out. Zach quickly identified the problem, removed the old pipe, installed a new one with ease, and helped us to avert what could have been a potential disaster. After 5 hours of service (4 of which were not initially planned for), the bill we received was less than the two quotes that we had received for just the water heater alone from two other companies. Weld & Sons is now my lifelong plumber and I will be recommending them to every person I know. Truly an outstanding company!

Talked through two solutions. Repair the copper pipe by draining the line and putting in a new line or adding a solution to the line that would seal the leak from the inside. The ladder solution was more economical and seems to have fixed the problem.

Ben P. arrived on time. Assessed the situation and set out to unclog the pipe. It didn't take long before the pipe was clear and everything was working fine. Ben was polite, explained the situation to us. He left the kitchen clean. Yes we would use again.

Took 2 plumbers about 2.5 hours. Work was done as expected and everything was cleaned up before they left. Originally thought a new water heater would need to be purchased. $700 for labor (a little steep) and $275 for parts and materials.

They were punctual, and reliable. They were really good. He was pleasant, clean, just what you expect. He found out what was wrong, which was not so easy because it was dripping into the thing. This was a nasty little thing. This guy had to look where the leak was and why it was dripping, but I thought his situation was complicated.

Service was performed quickly, professionally, and completely. These guys are friendly, honest, and skilled. I've used them before and will definitely do so again.

It was fine. The service was really good. It seemed a little high. They were on time. I don't know. Like four workers. They were good. I would recommend them.

Excellent service! Clyde was really knowledgeable and kind. I did not feel like he was impatient with my questions or thought they were silly. He was careful about asking what he could use when cleaning up instead of just digging through the cupboards. Also, he was able to come in the day I called so that was great service as well. The price seemed fair since you get what you pay for with a plumber and he was excellent.

It was a really good price for all of the work. They were here about 2 1/2 hours. They had to have a guy come for a couple of minutes because it was a cast iron sink and one guy can't carry it. So they had to have a guy come help, he was here 10-15 minutes maybe. The charge was $10 to have him come and help. On top of this, Weld & Sons is a 10% senior discount on all of their work.

He's a plumber that I love and he does fantastic work. He's been around for 40 plus years. I had them in three times over the year, each time to do a different thing. I guess I would they are not cheap, but they do not have to come back. That's worth a lot. I found them through word of mouth, they were recommended. They're excellent!

They were very prompt and friendly, and explained things well. We wish that they had cleaned up a bit better after they were done.

Came on time. Found he could not fix old faucet, because it was not a standard brand and he did not have the parts. Replaced faucet. No mess. No fuss.

On time and with in estimate, all completed with in an hour and went they repaired a large section in order to avoid future pin hole leaks in that area, still with in estimate and an hour -Impressive!

What a wonderful experience! Ben was willing to test all the sinks and drains to see which ones should be cleaned. He recommended against snaking the drain for the kitchen sink because it was draining well and snaking always carries the risk of breaking a pipe. We ended up having a floor drain, laundry line, and bathroom sink line. Ben clearly knew what he was doing and explained some things to me regarding when you want to call out the plumber. He also made note that the bath sink and laundry sink are corroded so we may encounter problems in the future. Our home was built in the mid 1960s, so that is no surprise.
