I called the office and talked with someone about what I needed and she gave me a ballpark figure for a new 40 gallon gas water heater. Then a scheduler called and we scheduled it for two days out. (I did have hot water, it just had a slow leak). The guy showed up during the two hour window I was given. He was professional. We looked at the water heater and then he changed them out. The price was just what I was quoted. The guy who came put down a covering on my stairs to protect them. I have no complaints. Went just fine.

After calling for after-hours service on a Saturday morning, they were here within a couple of hours, and completed the fix promptly. The plumber was professional and efficient and I thought the price was fair for a weekend emergency call. I would definitely use Weld & Sons again for services.

This was the second time Weld & Sons has come. The person I spoke with asked for details and a photo of the dripping faucet. I like that idea...come with a plan and the right parts. Weld & Sons are willing to try to repair a fixture if they can. Clyde came out and was very personable. My kitchen faucet was repaired. The old, cracked lawn faucet was replaced. Then I asked for a new inside water shut-off valve, the old one was hard to turn. I got three things fixed for $382! I will be calling them again. I would highly recommend.

If you need a plumber do yourself a favor and go with Weld and Sons. We had our galvanized steel plumbing replaced and a new water heater put in. Work was done on time/ahead of schedule, the price was competitive, and cleanup/finished product was excellent. Repair work to ceilings and walls for new plumbing access was also excellent! Based on my experience I won’t use another plumber besides Weld and Sons.

The disposal was old and non-repairable. Weld & Sons gave me a couple of options to choose from and fixed the problem in a short period of time. This company does what they say they will do and are transparent about their services and pricing. The are prompt and professional. I will only use them from this point forward.

Weld & Son's came promptly to inspect our leaking water heater and diagnosed it needed to be replaced due to age. They were able to source a replacement short type unit within an hour and install by EOD. They also followed St Louis Park protocol to pull an epermit and arranged the date on inspection. Everything was checked and vetted to be correct. Highly recommended.

The scheduler gave us an appointment with the auger person, who came out and did his best to clear any obstructions. However, we learned that there was more going on than the usual clogged pipes. He believed the toilet itself needed replacement (and that the Briggs Vacuity is not worth trying to repair). So we scheduled a replacement. The installer/technician came the same day and installed a new toilet. He did a very neat and thorough job and the new toilet is very nice. Both men were totally professional in their work and very open and friendly. They were careful not to track any dirt in the house and they cleaned up everything. The office staff I dealt with on the phone were also very courteous and professional. It was a fine experience and I recommend the company very highly!

excellent job with great referrals for products which we secured for the project, only down side was the time it took to complete the project, most of the delay was due to humidity and how it effected drying time for a variety of products

I would have given him probably an A or a B overall, but I noticed that it's installed so it looks like ... there's a blue dot for cold and a red for hot. He's got them backwards, so I guess I would say a C. I did not call them back out to fix it. The blue dot's in front and the red dot's in back, and when you pull it forward it's hot, and that's the blue dot. It may just be that that was the only way they could hook it up because of the angle. It's from the side, where the handle is it's on the side of the faucet. Maybe that's the only way they could do it; I don't know. I think they were fine with the punctuality. I probably would use them in the future, but I would probably look at others.

Fair price, on time and quite professional

Weld and Sons offered to perform all of the requested work, but they also clearly explained the cost versus benefit of some of the work requested. After our discussions we only had them perform the work that truly added value and were very happy with the results. They replaced the piping and outside spigot for one connection, replaced the main valve replaced one additional spigot and fixed a leaking pipe connection.

Management bent over backwards to schedule this today after we told them how our basement would flood unless we turned off main valve - shut down all water to the house. They even worked around a meeting I had at work. Ben was very good, and replaced faucet, pipe and old valve, and put in all new, plus a drain valve to drain the pipe before winter. He did this all in one hour. I will call them again as I would like to replace another outside faucet and valve, as well as some general inspection work.

Weld and sons was responsive, got repairs done quickly and efficiently. And didn't break the bank. Thank you!

Like most reviewers I highly recommend Weld & Sons Plumbing. They replaced our water heater and everything about the experience was professional. Dan did a great job with the installation, cleanup, and explaining the features of our new water heater. The estimate was very reasonable and they install high quality products. Cleanup was great and no mess after he hauled the old water heater away. Great job, thanks!

Great replacement and install. Excellent technicians, who took the time to review features of the new model, along with details of the bill. They also helped to move/replace a few book shelves in order to get to the apparatus. Thank-you! I will most certainly use you again for my Plumbing needs.
