Description of Work: We have used Weld & Sons several times with excellent service and fair pricing. This service was sewer cleaning from house to street. One of the closer sewer access points was blocked in the finished basement but the tech was able to reach the street from the main drain in our utility room (further away) which cleaned the drain (first time in 35 years) and kept the mess in the utility room. Area was completely cleaned up by tech after service. Great company!

Description of Work: Actually, for what they had to do the price was very reasonable. The leak was a cracked pipe under the cement floor that was leeching back into our basement. I called in a panic and they were super nice. The own even got involved and helped get me on-line with the scheduler. Asked me if they could call me back in 15 minutes to set up 3-way conversation and DID JUST THAT! 15 minutes and the phone rang. Also, very clean efficient workmanship. Super people and would recommend them in a heartbeat.

Description of Work: Weld and Sons replaced a leaky water pipe in my basement. They were one of the first to respond to my Angie's List request and their estimate was in line with the other companies in the area. Clyde called me the morning of the appointment to let me know he was stuck in some unexpected traffic, but still showed up just a few minutes behind schedule. I always appreciate those phone calls because not all companies are courteous enough to do that. He explained that a pin valve that tapped into my water supply for the humidifier wasn't up to code. It wasn't part of the leaking problem, but was located about a foot away from the section of pipe he needed to replace to fix the leak. He didn't pressure me at all, but gave me the option of whether or not I wanted him to replace the valve as well, explaining that since it was so close to the section he needed to replace, he could just go a little further and still finish the job within the hour so the only extra charge would be the price of the new valve (which was only about $12 and he let me know that up front). Clyde was very friendly and professional and I would definitely consider hiring Weld and Sons again for any future plumbing issues.
