Fantastic!!

They called the night before to confirm appointment. Clyde was on time. Work was done in quick, efficient manner. Site was left clean. Always too expensive but no major surprises.

Once contacted, the sump pump person was out the next morning to replace it. He was clean, friendly, prompt, and efficient. The cost was half the price of the sump pump which I had just purchased from another company 2 years ago. The faucet man came promptly out and had the same attributes of the first worker. He replaced the parts in the tub that were worn out and just needed to do some work on the laundry faucet that did not require replacing any parts. I was happy with the whole situation and will happily use them in the future.

Plumber was right on time at 7:30 a.m. He removed his shoes at the door. He was polite and knowledgeable. I would recommend this company again, however, they have a 1 hour minimum, and even though my job took 30 minutes, he was required to bill me for the entire hour.

The plumber gave me some great advice on replacing my shower but this advice cost me a lot since there was a travel charge of $59 and a half hour of labor at $54. I guess it might have cost more with some other companies though. The plumber was very helpful and professional. I would hire them again.

I was very happy with the work and great service and I thought the price was reasonable.

I'd hire Weld & Sons Plumbing Co. again in a heartbeat. They did a really nice job on my kitchen remodeling. Don was out promptly to bid the job and let me know a few things I could do myself to keep the price down (like removing basement ceiling tiles). My project took a couple of months because I was doing a lot of it myself and they worked with my schedule. Tim was great to have working on the job, and he cleaned up some older plumbing without charging me for it. Their scheduler got a little short with me because re-scheduled the final inspection twice because I wasn't ready for it and I didn't give enough notice but other than that all my contacts with the company were very positive.

Crew of two was punctual, neat (offered to remove shoes), and did a good job. Also offered advice on a few other plumbing issues (slowly leaking water heater valve- don't fix since its nearing end of life anyway, wait and replace entire unit when leak gets bad enough).

Clyde was extremely nice and helpful. He even got in my tub, with water in it, to help solve where our leak was. Was unable to fix since part of the whirlpool jet system. Both times I have used them they were here the same day.

Overall, a very good experience. Don Weld did the estimate and took time to discuss the project with me. Mike (Weld?) and his apprentice arrived a couple of minutes early to begin the work. The job was finished in time for the plumbing inspector's visit. The inspector seemed to know Mike and had a high opinion of this work. The work was done well, on time, and for what my contractor friend says is a good price. They cleaned up before leaving. Both Mike and Don are very professional, good natured, and easy to talk with. I would definitely use them again.

They are consistent: they always show up on time, and they're competitively priced. They always do a good job. I've shopped other plumbers, and their price is right where it ought to be. Plumbing is always expensive.

Referred to this company by Home Warranty. I explained to the plumber that a pipe behind the bathtub was banging after running water and that it started a month ago. He listened and heard the banging a couple times. He said he wasn't sure that it would be covered and he hated to charge me the 100$ for doing nothing. He called the Warranty Co. and spent a good while laughing and joking with the rep. which was really irritating. He also told the guy he didn't hear any banging. The rep then told me they didn't cover renovations. I didn't understand how he came up with that diagnosis. The plumber said he would charge me only 75$ acting like he was doing me a favor by not charging me the 100$ deductible from the warranty. And he would look into the banging for $150 per hour. I called the company two days ago to confirm the charge and it is indeed $75 and two plumbers are $160 per hour and she didn't know why he would tell me the other charges. I haven't heard back from them.

PLUMBER WAS 40+ MINUTES LATE, BUT DID CALL ABOUT 10 MINUTES AHEAD OF TIME TO SAY HE WOULD BE DELAYED. PROCESS WAS 2 HOURS. BATHROOM WAS LEFT CLEAN AND TIDY AND THE WORKMANSHIP DID SEEM TO BE VERY GOOD. COST INCLUDED 2 HOURS LABOR AND $59 CALL OUT FEE (FOR A NON-EMERGENCY, SCHEDULED CALL).

VERY PROMPT SERVICE - CAME THE FIRST MORNING I CALLED. SERVICEMAN WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL, EXPLAINED EVERYTHING AND VERY PLEASANT. STANDARD SERVICE FEE OF $59 PLUS 1 HOUR LABOR ($98.00) PLUS APPROXIMATELY $25 IN PARTS. I WOULD DEFINITELY USE THEIR SERVICES AGAIN IF I NEEDED A PLUMBER.

I CALLED THIS COMPANY BECAUSE THEY WERE THE AUTHORIZED SERVICE PROVIDER DESIGNATED BY OUR HMS HOME OWNERS WARRANTY. I CALLED THEIR EMERGENCY NUMBER EARLY IN THE EVENING AND WAS NOT IMPRESSED BY THE SERVICE I RECEIVED FROM THE PERSON WHO ANSWERED THE PHONE. HE WAS BRUSQUE, WOULDN'T LET ME SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT AT THAT TIME, AND DIDN'T EVEN BELIEVE ME WHEN I TOLD HIM THAT OUR HOT WATER HEATER HAD BURST. LATER THAT EVENING, ANOTHER GENTLEMAN FROM THE COMPANY CALLED AND ASKED IF HE COULD COME OUT AND TAKE A LOOK AT THE DAMAGE. HE WAS MUCH MORE HELPFUL AND ARRIVED WITHIN THE HOUR. HE TOOK A LOOK AT OUR HOT WATER HEATER, CALLED AND ARRANGED FOR THE WORK TO BE DONE THE NEXT MORNING AND REFERRED US TO A WATER DAMAGE COMPANY WHO CAME THAT EVENING. THE PLUMBERS WHO ARRIVED THE NEXT DAY WERE POLITE, EFFICIENT, AND EVEN SPOKE WITH OUR INSURANCE COMPANY TO REPORT AND DESCRIBE THE DAMAGE. THE NEW HEATER WAS INSTALLED BY 11 A.M. THE NEXT MORNING AND HAS BEEN WORKING GREAT.

ROB WAS VERY NICE AND VERY THOROUGH. HE GAVE US HIS CELL PHONE NUMBER IN CASE THERE WAS A PROBLEM. WHEN WE NOTICED A GAS SMELL THE NEXT MORNING, HE CAME THAT AFTERNOON (ON HIS OWN TIME, HE SAID) AND CHECKED IT OUT. HE FOUND THERE WAS A SMALL PROBLEM WITH THE FINAL CONNECTION AND FIXED IT QUICKLY AND WITHOUT CHARGE. THE TOTAL BROKE DOWN TO $59 FOR A SERVICE CALL, 2 HOURS OF LABOR AT $196 AND $30 FOR PARTS.

THE COMPANY WAS COURTEOUS, PROMPT, SKILLFUL, VERY NEAT, CLEAN, AND OFFERED A REASONABLE COST. WE HAVE HIRED THEM SEVERAL TIMES FOR KITCHEN AND BATHROOM PLUMBING REPAIRS AND HAVE ALWAYS BEEN PLEASED WITH EVERYTHING. WE HAVE NEVER HAD ANY DISAPPOINTMENTS.

WE HAVE SOLD OUR HOUSE, AND WE ORIGINALLY NEEDED ONLY THE KITCHEN FAUCET REPLACED TO FIX A LEAK FOUND BY A HOME INSPECTOR. HOWEVER, WE ALSO HAD SOME ELECTRICAL WORK DONE, AND WE FOUND THAT WE NEEDED A SMALLER LAUNDRY TUB TO ALLOW PROPER SET BACK FOR THE CIRCUIT BOX. WE NEEDED THE JOB DONE QUICKLY BECAUSE WE WERE NEARING OUR CLOSING DATE. WE CALLED WELD TO ASK IF THEY COULD DO THE ADDITIONAL WORK. THEY SENT A TWO-MAN CREW THE NEXT DAY AND TOOK CARE OF BOTH JOBS AT THE SAME TIME. THE PLUMBERS WERE VERY PLEASANT AND PROFESSIONAL. THEY BROKE UP THE CONCRETE TUBS THAT WERE IN PLACE, CARRIED THE PIECES OUT TO A DUMPSTER WE HAD, PUT THE NEW TUB IN PLACE, REPLACED THE KITCHEN FAUCET AND CLEANED UP VERY WELL. WE'LL HIRE WELD FOR WORK IN OUR NEW HOUSE.

HIS RECOMMENDATION WAS THAT THE COST OF THE SERVICE OUTWEIGHED THE BENEFITS. I AGREED, BUT WAS IMPRESSED BY HIS HONESTY AND PROFESSIONALISM. I WOULD DEFINITELY CALL THIS COMPANY AGAIN.

BYRON THE PLUMBER WAS ON TIME AND POLITE. HE WAS A LITTLE BIT INCOMMUNICADO, THOUGH. WE WERE REFERRED TO THIS COMPANY BY OUR HOME WARRANTY COMPANY, AND HE WAS VERY HELPFUL IN EXPLAINING HOW THE WARRANTY STUFF WORKED. FIXED THE PROBLEM QUICKLY AND CHARGED A FAIR PRICE.

THEY WERE VERY CAREFUL NOT TO DAMAGE ANY MORE WALL SPACE THAN ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY WHEN THEY INSTALLED THE VENTING, AND CLEANED UP AFTER THEMSELVES WHEN THE WORK WAS COMPLETED ON TIME. THEY EVEN DID A FEW EXTRA THINGS FREE OF CHARGE. THESE GUYS ARE COURTEOUS WITH A GREAT SENSE OF HUMOR.

THEY GAVE ME A DATE AND HOUR RANGE OF 12 -4 SO I COULD PLAN TO BE HOME FROM WORK. THEY CALLED AT 2:30 THAT DAY TO CANCEL. WHEN I TRIED TO RESCHEDULE, THEY COULD NOT EVEN GIVE ME A TIME RANGE THEY WOULD BE ABLE TO PERFORM SERVICE. I CANCELLED MY SERVICE CALL AND CALLED ANOTHER PLUMBER.

THEY RECOGNIZED THE PROBLEM, BUT DECIDED THAT WE DIDN'T NEED A NEW FAUCET. ABOUT 4 MONTHS LATER WE ENDED UP NEEDING THE NEW FAUCET.

ONLY COMPANY OF 6 THAT I CALLED THAT WAS ABLE TO COME OUT THE SAME DAY AND DID NOT CHARGE AN EMERGENCY CALL CHARGE.

THEY WERE EXTREMELY CAREFUL; VERY PLEASED! I WORKED WITH TIM, ALSO VIC HAS BEEN GOOD IN THE PAST.
