Description of Work: Don arrived promptly, was knowledgable and gave good advice. He installed shut-off valves for our 3 outside faucets and our refrigerator supply line. He did excellent work and the price was fair. I will use them again.

Description of Work: A burst pipe was repaired. The plumber (Kevin) repaired the problem, gave me hints as to how to avoid future problems, and charged a fair price. I was completely satisfied.

Description of Work: Excellent! After trying to fix it myself, gave up, hit Angie's list and called Weld after reading the reviews. Add me on the fan list. Responded immediately and the work was scheduled within 2 days. Clyde, the plumber who came was great. Fixed what needed fixing and recommended other tweaks to prevent other work. Besides laughing at my jokes, I appreciated that Clyde did the work thoroughly but quickly and didn't patronize my efforts to fix it myself. Hate to have to use a plumber...but when I need to will use Weld.

Description of Work: Don Weld and his company did a big remodel job for us - two bathrooms and a kitchen. These guys are fantastic! Professional, kind, and fair. We were contracting our own project and they worked with us so well. We have no complaints and will definitely use them again when we remodel the basement.

Description of Work: Some pipes in our basement began leaking. Weld and Sons had actually helped us with a leaking pipe in another location earlier in the year, and did a great job, so we called them again. My husband called early in the morning, and the staff came out right away. They replaced the copper pipes with a material that will not be affected by the hard water in our area. Problem solved!

Description of Work: Ran a gas line so we were able to hook up our natural gas grill.

Description of Work: I contacted Weld & Sons Plumbing about a potential issue with a leak where the first floor bathroom connects with the sewer line in the basement. Don Weld came out to look and discuss. He quickly discovered the issue was a leak in the basement but the fact that the shower drain was bad and leaking. We discussed options considering that we wanted to remodel the bathroom anyway and now I am pursuing those ideas. I really appreciated the quick analysis, the discussion and lack of pressure fix right away.

Description of Work: These guys were amazing! We had some sump pump and shower repairs that needed to be done and they finished the work within just a couple days. A week later our drain was leaking and they were out the next day and had it fixed by that afternoon. We'll never think to call any other plumber again! Don was extremely knowledgable and trustworthy. I felt like we were on an episode of Holmes on Homes :)

Description of Work: Just a note on their customer service: I needed a couple minor plubming repairs done as well as having a boiler cleaned and serviced. Although they don't service the heating units they were kind enough to provide me a referal of someone they know and trust that does. Very nice!

Description of Work: I was having problems with my laundry room floor drain backing up when I did laundry. I called Weld and Sons on a Thursday and they were able to come out the next day. Since I live in St. Paul I needed to have Xcel Energy come out and put a camera down my main drain (for safety reasons, natural gas) They contacted Xcel and they were able to come out the next morning before Weld an Sons came out. Ben the service tech arrived early and did a great job. While he was here I asked him to look at another drain, he was more than happy to resolve that issue as well. Great job, thanks much.

Description of Work: Did nice job clearing kitchen drain. Reamed it out twice with two different sized bits. Works well. Cleanup was very good.

Description of Work: There were two different times for service. The last was cleaning a shower drain. Very quick and good quality. The second visit was approximately a month ago. It was for a kitchen sink disposal. My wife called for service and the service man returned the call immediately. He worked with my wife to fix the problem at no charge. These folks at Weld and Sons are great. I would recommend to anyone.

Description of Work: the service guy talked to me over the phone and helped me fix the backed up floor drain(simple problem) and did not charge me. It was very nice of him to do this. He could of came out and charged me, but did not. I think he is honest and that is very important to me. Well done.

Description of Work: Very competent, reasonably priced, and friendly. These was a repairs were ordered by a housing inspector prior to closing. He found several problems that the inspector had misdiagnosed or missed altogether. All in all, I could not be more pleased with the entire experience.
