I have worked with Jesse Olson at Webdigs on three occasions. Two of those times I was buying a property and the third time I was selling a property. In each case I found Jesse to be very professional in every aspect of his job as well as extremely diligent in returning phone calls or emails quickly. Jesse worked h****** our behalf whether we were selling a property or buying a new one. Furthermore he even split his commission with us when we bought our properties. I've never seen that occur with any other realty. I'm currently working with Jesse again to list my second house and I plan to keep on working with Jesse Olson and Webdigs as long as I have real estate to buy or sell.
Description of Work: Jesse Olson from Webdigs represented us in two real estate purchases and one real estate sale. In each case he made the buying and/or selling experience much easier.

Webdigs was miraculously able to make the home-buying process more stressful and frustrating than it naturally is. I had driven by a house that had a different agent's for-sale sign up, but which was never listed anywhere on-line. That agent told me the house would be on the market soon, but then the sign came down. I subsequently tracked down the homeowner's phone number and left him a message asking when the house would be on the market, and received a call back from the eminently unprofessional agent/owner of Webdigs, Tom Meckey. He proceeded to bad-mouth the agent who previously listed the house (who is well-known and well-respected in St. Paul), told me about the Webdigs way of doing things and how much better they were than all the other "jerk-off" agents out there (his words, not mine), and referred to the house next door as a "dump" (a house we'd also looked at and were interested in, and which certainly was *not* a dump by any definition). He even criticized the kitchen of the house I'd called about, which he was listing! He took my email address and said he'd email me photos of that house when he got them. He never did. Months later the house finally came on the market; we went to an open house and decided to make an offer. Our agent met with Jason from Webdigs and with the seller to present our offer, and they negotiated. It didn't go well, and our agent took the written offer and left. He drove a few blocks and received a call on his cell phone - another counter-offer from the seller. He called us, we decided to accept, and he immediately called the agent back and they were to meet back at the house to have the seller sign the papers. Unfortunately, the seller had left, and the Webdigs agent couldn't get a hold of him, even though only minutes had passed. So, we had an agreement, but not a signed one, which is the same as not having an agreement. After many phone calls by our agent to Webdigs, they decided that the seller would stop by our agent's house that afternoon and sign the offer. Our agent wasn't home and had to leave it in his mailbox. The seller stopped by, but inexplicably didn't sign because was confused about something (i.e., Webdigs hadn't explained everything to him). Our agent had to call Tom Meckey at Webdigs for the next THREE AND A HALF DAYS before finally getting a signed purchase agreement, because Meckey couldn't be bothered meeting with him. Finally, after we threatened to file complaints with the licensing board, the state, anyone who would listen, Mr. Meckey showed up at our door with the signed agreement. Unfortunately, due to the volatile housing market, and because of Webdigs massive delay, our lender was unable to secure the same financing for us, and we had to come up with an additional 5% down payment - 50% more than we'd planned, and a total of $28,000 more than we would have had to put down had Webdigs acted promptly and professionally.
Description of Work: Unfortunately for us, Webdigs was listing the house we bought.
