Our water heater began leaking from underneath. Filled out a form on Angies List requesting a quote from the company on Sunday evening. Shortly thereafter received a text from the company promising a call Monday morning. Call received Monday at 8AM, quote was provided including AL discount and our new tank was installed by midday. Friendly, professional, good communication, good cleanup. Very satisfied with the service we received.

I called Water Heaters Now when my water heater went out. They called me back very quickly and scheduled an appointment for the next day. The crew was on-time, courteous, and knowledgeable. The work was done for the exact amount of the quote. They even filed my energy star rebate with my gas company for me.I couldn't be happier with my experience. Thanks!

We had a gas water heater (40 gallon) that was about 10 years old and had seen better days. I had a couple companies do estimates and Water Heaters Now was right in line with the others if not slightly more. They also honored the $100 off Angie's List coupon. They were responsive in scheduling and coming out for an estimate. They were the only company that would come out to do an in person estimate. The others were just doing it over the phone based on what I already had installed. The unique challenge of this project was that it is a 130 year old house with a partial cellar that has very narrow and steep stairs. The size of the heater itself would have to be very specific to fit into the stairway and into the space. Water Heaters Now came out and actually measured the opening and offered a heater that would fit. It was special ordered because of the size but they still were able to do it the next day which I thought was great. The techs that came out were friendly and professional. They had a heck of a time getting the old one out and up the stairs and the new one into place but they did it. It only took them about 90 minutes start to finish which was also very impressive. They cleaned up after themselves and left everything as they found it. Although the price was slightly higher than the other estimates, I think the fact that they do "all in" pricing with no surprise charges is great. I would rather know up front what the price is then be surprised later with a couple extra issues they happened to find. They pulled a permit with the city and everything passed inspection on the first try. The heater works great. I would definitely recommend this company to use for future projects.

Called Water Heaters Now after receiving quotes from 4 other companies. Spoke with Nate and he answered all of my questions. Nate and Jake came when they said they'd be here, completed install of new Bradford White 40 gallon AV Tall in an hour. Very friendly and professional, removed old WH, cleaned up after. They were great and I have already told 2 neighbors about them. Thank you Water Heaters Now for a great job, easy, painless WH install.

I had an emergency water heater issue and they were able to see me the same day. Jake and Bruce came out quickly, diagnosed the issue, and resolved it in a timely manner. Price was also fair. Customer service from Jake and Bruce were top notch. Nate who scheduled the appointment also provided top quality customer service over the phone. Jake even talked to my husband on the phone and answered his questions about the maintenance of the water heater. Overall, very satisfied and will use them again.

I visited Angie's List website at about 9:00 this morning and filled out a request for plumbers --- I needed a new Hot Water Heater. As soon as I hit the enter button, Ray called from Water Heaters Now. Long story, short -- by 1:30 I had my brand new water heater installed and hot water at my fingertips. Jake and Nate were speedy and professional, hauled out the old water heater, provided instructions on maintenance and warranty info on the new unit. Overall, a great experience. Highly recommend this team!

My experience with Ray at Waters Heaters Now was excellent. I needed to have my water heater replaced the same day because I was leaving on a business trip the next morning. Ray and his assistant were at my home in four hours and installation took approximately three hours. They did an excellent job on the installation. They are true professionals. The cost of my installation was in line with typical work of this sort. The labor and other costs were about the cost of the water heater alone which is very typical.

We needed a new water heater and due to a variety of issues it needed to be moved to different location in the house. I knew that going in. Ray responded to my online submission (on a Sunday, which may not be the norm but was great) within 15 mins. We chatted about the options and he sent Nate out the next day to make sure the unit would fit where I wanted to put it. I scheduled the installation with Ray that day. Nate and Jake showed up exactly on time and worked HARD for 7 hours to do the necessary work. They were very nice, but also professional. They left a clean workspace as well. Great service. Thanks!

My 20 year old water heater sprung a small leak and needed to be replaced. I was happy that I was able to get an estimate over the phone without someone having to come out - saved time and avoided surprises. I scheduled an appointment at my convenience a few days out but was assured if the heater failed in the meantime, I could call back and get immediate service. The workers showed up on time for the appointment and were prepared for work. They were polite and professional, worked quickly and cleaned up completely afterward. Before leaving, one of the workers took the time to review the features and proper care of the water heater with me. The cost I was quoted over the phone for my new 50 gallon power vent heater was spot on! I am completely satisfied with the top notch customer service, the quality and speed of the work, the cost, and my new water heater. Based on my experience, I highly recommend Water Heaters Now.

Great work. I woke up to a cold shower. I called and left message at 6:40am. They called me back at 7am and I had a new water heater installed by 12:30. Very professional, no issues.

Everything was excellent and top notch service all around! We needed a new water heater at rental house and came across Water Heaters Now and were so happy we did!!! Highly recommend, same day service, professional, honest, and efficient work!!!!

I have two water heaters connected and called Water Heaters Now as soon as one of them started leaking. My phone call to them (at 2pm) went to voicemail where I left a polite short message with my callback info and explained the issue. Ten minutes later a return call came in (I was at a conference room at work and on message left my phone number and said not to call this number). I answered and it was Ray from Water Heaters Now who I spoke with and explained issue. Ray said he didn't bother to listen to my message, but seemed very knowledgeable and said he could have someone out at 8am following day. I told him I'd take morning off of work and gave him address and verified 8am THREE TIMES and took notes and he gave estimate of $800 and that was that. The following day at 8am I was up and waiting, no one arrived. At 8:15 I called and went to voicemail, left message wondering if they got lost and I'm waiting and was very polite. Another 20 minutes go buy and at 8:35 I call again, same thing, voicemail. I leave another polite voicemail. Then a few minutes later I get a call back from Ray, he pretends I don't have an appointment until this afternoon and tell him I wrote down everything and he's wrong he told me 8am. He then says he remembers and must of "mis-remembered my appointment before when he wrote it down" he then quotes me different price. So all he needed to do was remember the quote, the appointment time, and show up....they failed at all three! I politely told him to cancel and I'll find a more reputable company. Not sure how they show up as A rating as Angie's List? This company seems very flakey, would not recommend.

I had a 17 year old leaky water heater that needed replacing. I'd called probably half a dozen different plumbers prior to getting in touch with Water Heaters Now, and nobody could even give me a ballpark estimate for what replacing a water heater should cost--everyone wanted to come out, collect their $60-$90 visit fee, and then presumably bank on that sunk cost to get me to just accept whatever figure they could conjure out of the air. Ray from WHN, however, was able to help me select a great 50 gallon heater that suited my needs and provide a fair quote over the phone. They made it to my house about an hour after I called, and quickly had my new heater installed and old heater carted off. They also provided extremely valuable (and simple) maintenance guidelines, and left a clean working space. There wasn't any attempt to up-sell, which was refreshing; the only additional work required was a small modification to bring the existing installation up to code, and the cost for that was minimal. I would gladly recommend WHN to anybody looking to replace a heater that doesn't want to deal with all the drama associated with more general-purpose plumbing companies. The total cost was likely a bit higher than I'd have paid if I went with a contractor through home depot or the like, but I truly believe that the professionalism, convenience, and advice was worth it (especially for a recent homeowner like myself).

My experience with Water Heaters Now was fantastic. Ray told me on the phone that it would be a great service experience, and he did not lie. I had purchased a new water heater, so I only needed it to be installed. Ray and Jake were very friendly, professional and got right to work. They laid down drop cloths through the house. They got the old water heater out and the new one in, which was no easy task because we have a floor trapdoor basement. They were quick and clean. When they were done Ray walked me through everything they did and showed me how to run the new water heater. There were no extra charges even though they had to do some additional plumbing work. They also disposed of the old water heater. I would definitely recommend them to anyone needing to replace or repair a water heater.

Ray did a great job installing a 75 gallon water heater in a very tight space to replace two old smaller ones . No damage done and they were very clean. Highly recommended.

I noticed our water heater leaking last night before dinner. Since it was well past 5:00 I called Water Heaters Now expecting to leave a message but instead the phone was answered. We had a brief discussion about what I needed, and then he asked me to text him pictures of the water heater, its location and the lable with the model number information on it.

It went very well. Very polite and respectful. They are here in on time and came the next day after we called. They are very careful in doing the job and with the things inside the house. Everything right now is working very well and no problem at all.

We were left in a pinch on a Saturday morning without hot water (with two small children nonetheless). Ray was prompt in returning our phone call and getting a technician scheduled to come out right away (from our call to his arrival was 2.5 hours). There are not many plumbers who would have the system unit and the availability to put this in right away (we called around), so it was great to have the problem fixed so quickly and correctly.

Great experience overall. Seemed a bit pricey, but I felt it was worth it for the great service and same-day availability. They laid down tarp all along the path (even on my rather ratty basement carpeting & steps). Cleaned up after themselves. And gave me some great advice on maintaining the new water heater including a timetable for things to do (which included writing significant dates for maintenance & warranty periods on a nice label on the side of the water heater). They also took care of permitting and making sure everything was up to current local code. To me, they went the extra mile, so I would call them again (but hopefully won't have to for a long time!).

The water heater started leaking Wednesday night. Thursday morning I started calling people from Angie’s list. One firm couldn’t replace the heater until the following week! I called Water Heaters Now, because they promise to install the same day if contacted before 2, and the reviews were good. I spoke with the owner and was impressed with his professionalism and knowledge. We set a time for that afternoon. He was delayed by other projects and traffic issues due to snow, but kept me up to date. He had me send pictures of the old water heater and the area, to make certain he brought what was needed. He worked carefully and was very professional and pleasant. He demonstrated and explained maintenance to prolong the life of the new water heater. Very good experience with this company! Don’t hesitate to hire them!!

Overall the entire process went very well; we were very pleased. Ray stopped out ahead of his crew to access the situation and start getting set up for them to arrive (e.g., clearing path to water heater, shutting water off, etc.). Once the crew arrived, they got to work setting out tarps, draining the old water heater, bringing the new one in, etc. In all, it took about 2 hours from the time Ray arrived to the time they were completely done. We found them to be very professional, they worked fast, and respected our home by using tarps and cleaning up. Very satisfied! Our cost below does not include the premium we paid to have them come out on a Saturday night as that was our choice to pay and it was expected, given it was a Saturday night and they fit us in at the end of their workday.

My water heater cracked over Labor Day weekend. Yikes! Luckily, I found Same Day and they were able to replace the heater on Saturday and I didn't have to go the holiday weekend with out hot water. I am thankful for their extended hours and willingness to go the extra mile.

Fast & professional. Very good service, but I expect this as table-stakes. Unfortunately Ray told me his cost for the water heater was $1475 + tax. I can buy it online for $1089- no tax and free shipping. In addition to the $1475, I paid $1115 for permit ($70), removal, disposal & installation. I think this is high considering that it took his 2 guys 75 minutes to complete their service and materials cost couldn't be more than $50. I want people to earn a profit but feel a little fleeced. Total price was $2590- $2000 would have been more appropriate. This is for a 75 gallon hot water heater. He said he likes to make about $500 per water heater to support his business. Very reasonable, but I figure after paying his guys & materials he made more like $1200 for a very short job. Happy with the work/water heater, but I should have shopped more and wish for more price transparency. Next time I'll do time and materials. Ray, if you want to refund some $$, I'll amend my review. I've included the location and date of service.

It went very quickly and was done well. They were later than anticipated because of previous job and traffic but were done very quickly and professionally. They showed me the features of my new water heater and how to take care of it over the years so it will last a long time. They also, at my request, installed a drain plate under the water heater to prevent my experience of wet utility room and storage from happening again. My only real complaint was they left a bit more of a mess than I anticipated and left a gouge in my deck steps from their 2 wheel cart that I didn't see until after they were gone. I was able to sand it down so no one gets a sliver. Overall they did a very good job and lived up to their promises. They seemed fairly reasonable priced. I did have one bid for less but Same Day Water Heaters was my only option that could get it done the same day. They gave me the second lowest bid out of four. They offer a great product that gets good reviews and are known for being durable, they are also American Made. I would recommend this company to anyone.
