Wade's Garage Door Service

A different garage door guy stopped by and said my opener needed a new gear kit--but he called back to say parts were not available for my opener model (a 9-year-old LiftMaster) and recommended installing a new one for over $400. I called Wade for a second opinion--he said the problem was not the gear kit but the motor and to contact the manufacturer about the lifetime warranty. Sure enough, the manufacturer sent a new motor at no cost, and Wade returned to install it. He charged me just over $100--about a quarter of what the first guy was going to charge me for a replacement. Wade knows his craft, is honest and fair, and offers great customer service. I highly recommend him!

Wade correctly diagnosed the problem in about 30 seconds and knew exactly how to fix it. He showed up the next day with the necessary parts and was done in less than an hour.

Great service. Fixed promptly. I called on a weekend and left a message. Wade scheduled a Monday repair. He said nothing major was broken. He did general maintenance on it with adjustments and lubrication and set it back in working order. I was super happy. It's an old opener, 15 years old. So I plan to call Wade again with any further problems. He is really good with communication and talks over what he is going to do.

Wade did a great job. Went the extra mile came over to measure springs a temporarily clamped them so the door was usable while waited for the new springs.

Our garage door opener was very loud and is located directly beneath our kids' bedrooms. It would wake them up whenever it was activated. I wanted to install a quiet opener, and didn't want to do it myself. Many neighbors recommended Wade, and they were absolutely on target. I called Wade and he recommended a specific model to buy, and said he could install it within a couple days. I asked if he could also replace the weather stripping that was cracking around our door. He said he could for a small charge. He showed up at the exact time he said he would. I greeted him at the door, opened the garage for him, showed him where the new unit was, and left him alone to do his work. Turns out our old opener was installed with insufficient anchoring and was off-centered. He secured the unit and better aligned the track. He also did a great job installing quality weather stripping. The new opener is very quiet and everything works great. He was very friendly and knew his stuff. I do not hesitate recommending Wade for any garage door work you may need. I won't consider hiring anyone else for future work.

It wen't exactly as advertised. Wade is a one man shop so he can get busy, but he'll get it done.

Wade returned my call within 45 minutes. He came to the house the next day, giving me a 30 minute window for his arrival. The day of our appointment, Wade called and confirmed his arrival and was dead-on prompt. He diagnosed the problem in less than a minute. Fixed it. Noticed two other problems as a result of the first and fixed them. He lubricated the track, hinges and spring. My garage door has NEVER operated so smoothly or quitely. I felt his price was very reasonable. Wade is the best. Don't waste time calling anyone else.

Wade did a great job. He was actually referred by a neighbor of ours who said I shouldn't bother calling anyone else. I was able to get a call in on Monday morning and had the garage fixed by that afternoon. He was punctual, professional, knowledgable, and best of all, affordable. Wade determined that the reason for the spring breakage was due to improper springs being installed by the previous company. Wade ordered the correct springs, which most company's do not carry on their trucks, and replaced them along with worn cables. The door works better than it ever has. I appreciate the fact he took the time to order the correct springs instead of just replacing them with what he had on the truck. This is what happened with the previous repair by another company. The operation of the door is smooth and quite. Wade fixed a bad situation created by another garage door repair company. His fees were very reasonable. I would highly recommend Wade to anyone.

HE SHOWED UP ON TIME, ACCURATELY ASSESSED THE GARAGE AND WHAT WAS NEEDED, MADE A RECOMMENDATION, GAVE AN ACCURATE ESTIMATE, SHOWED UP ON TIME TO DO THE WORK, AND EVEN REPAIRED SOMETHING WE HADN'T ASKED HIM TO DO. HE CLEANED UP AFTER HIMSELF AND HAULED EVERYTHING AWAY. A VERY PERSONABLE GUY WHO DID GOOD WORK.
