Seamus was prompt in his arrival to quote, the crew was fantastic! They showed up on time, were very courteous through and cleaned up everything. They worked on the entire yard. We are very pleased and would recommend them for any work needed.

JIm came a little early for the estimate. He listened to what I wanted and made a few helpful suggestions. He gave me a fair price which I accepted. The crew came the next day, all of them wearing uniforms and driving trucks with the company name on them assuring me that I was dealing with professionals. Jim showed up with the crew to make sure that they understood the work as we had discussed it. The crew divided up the work and got started. The job took a couple of hours. They cleaned the yard better than it looked when they started and the trees look better and healthier. I can highly recommend VIneland Tree Care.

Super, added one more tree at last min. No problem

We have 5 old oak trees. It had been 20 years since they were pruned. We had bids from two tree services. We chose Vineland because of the good impression their estimator Seamus Walsh made, their good Angies List record, their lower price, and their up-to-date certifications. The other bidder was slightly higher and his certifications with ISA could not be verified. The workers came out as scheduled, worked most of the day on the trees, plus one catalpa, and cleaned up reasonably well. Both Seamus and the crew foreman informed us of some ongoing issues with the trees, which we may consider working on later in the year. We were happy with the work done.

Seems to be a family operation. One of the sons walked the property and reviewed the trees with me in advance. He made good suggestions on pruning, shaping, opening up branches etc on the trees to be trimmed. The two rotten trees were carefully examined, and a plan was proposed to remove them with a crane to lift them up and out in large pieces to avoid damage to surrounding trees and a neighboring home. On the day of the work a fairly large crew worked the job. They were very efficient. The crane truck showed up, and while large sections of the dead trees were cut, each was chained and carefully lifted out. It was all done very quickly and methodically, with minimal street blockage. They were obviously very experienced with this procedure. Their clean up was excellent. I was worried about neighbor damage or complaints, and I had nothing to worry about. I have friends who have a large acreage of treed land in Prior Lake, and they are very happy with Vineland's knowledge based tree service in helping them keep their forested areas healthy.

Sunday snow storm on 12/9/12, did some damage to my beautiful white pine. Lower branches cracked and broke under the heave wet snow. I went online and checked Angies List for tree care professionals. I emailed Vineland Tree Care though Angies List and they contacted me first thing Monday. Seamus Walsh came out assessed the damage and gave me an estimate of $400 to $450. Since the tree was so large they would have to bring a bucket out to remove the high branches. Also there could be some hidden damage that could not be detected until they started work Since the tree was not in danger of damaging electrical lines or a structure I was good with Vineland returning on Wednesday to do the work. Although some nice lower and upper branches are gone the tree is still there and in much better shape to withstand the upcoming winter. Vineland Tree Care did an excellent job and were very prompt considering the situation.

The work went perfectly! Tree looks great, yard was cleaned up and all debris removed.

I spoke to them on the phone and discussed what I wanted done. In hindsight I would be there when the work was being done, as they trimmed a bit more than I would have liked. But that is my fault, not their's.

This was the 2nd time we used Vineland and they did an excellent job. They are quick to respond to messages, they are on time, give thorough estimates (including a breakdown of both requested and recommended services), and their clean up is impeccable. These guys are professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely appear to enjoy their jobs. We will use them again and again and highly recommend their services.

Vineland not only offered the best price, but was very flexible on time and ended up being able to come out way before our scheduled appointment and do the work. They did a great job, the crew was professional and polite, and they even hauled away other yard waste I was going to be stuck bundling up. A+ all around.

The work went extremly well! They were prompt, very reasonably priced, professional and great to work with. I would hire them again in a second!

We sadly decided that we had to remove an old tree to proceed with a project at our home. Local forester said it would not likely survive the work near its base. We called Vineland and I believe we had an estimate from them within hours. I gave them the go ahead a few days later. They obliged me in giving me a headsup as to the day the job would be done, so that I could remove some plants in advance of the tree removal. Crew showed up at about 8:15 and they were done and gone by about 11 AM. An excellent experience all around.

I would really like to see these nice folks succeed in business, but they may be losing their touch. They've done great work for me a couple of times in the past. I called them to have my trees evaluated for trimming and potential disease issues. They said they were busy and it might be 10 days before they could come out. When I didn't hear from them I called again and was promised a return call within a few days. It's been 8 weeks with no response. I had to move on.

Great experience. The day after I emailed a request for an estimate, Seamus stopped by the house on his way home from work. He was very thorough and was able to email me an estimate that evening. They were able to accommodate our scheduling requests so that the work occurred outside of our toddler's naptime. Mike and Sam showed up a few minutes early to perform the actual work, which took less than 3 hours. They did a great job of pruning large branches from the tree, which was really close to our house.

I found everyone working on the project to be professional and friendly. Appointments were kept on time. I received an estimate for the work which I felt was fair. The person who came out to review the project and provide the estimate was one of the company owners who was very professional and knowledgeable about the tree and what needed to be done to take down the branches that were in contact with the phone and electrical wires. He handled contacting Xcel energy regarding the work and coordinated with them and me as to a date for removing the tree that would work for all involved. The work of actually removing the tree went smoothly. While the team was efficient they were also careful in avoiding hitting the house (the tree was close to the house). Having knowledge of what constitutes good body mechanics, I was also very impressed that the crew used good body mechanics in their work including lifting the larger pieces of tree trunk and placing them in the truck bed. The work was completed in about two hours and the yard was left in good order with the company cleaning up the chips in the yard. I was appreciative of the good work everyone did and I sent the company owner a note expressing that appreciation.

This is a terrific company; I can't say enough about them. They have done all the work requested a fair prices and with prompt service. In particular they have been responsive to storm damage, appearing the same day called to take care of fallen branches, etc. They are near, clean up, the workmen are friendly . You can't go wrong!

After the storm blew through St Paul, we were left with a number of good sized limbs and branches that had fallen on the house, neighbors garage, driveway, etc. Seamus sent a crew out and they did a fabulous job removing debris, but also a meticulous job of cleaning not only our property but both our neighbors as well. And, they were friendly, personable, polite - just downright nice guys.I've used Vineyard twice and I'd use them again!

Connor from Vineland provided a written estimate by email on the same day we called to inquire about their service. They were able to perform the job a week and a half later and there were absolutely no issues at all. Initially we called several companies from Angie's List with "A" grades. The estimate Vineland provided was by far the best price for exactly the same work that the other companies quoted. I very much appreciate the service from Vineland and won't hesitate to give them a call for other work.

Overall, everything went really well.

They are pretty good and a neighbor had used them so I decided to use them too. They did everything they were supposed to do, seem really knowledge, showed up on time and cleaned up. I will use them again in the future.

Seamus and his crew came on time, did the job in an impressively professional manner, cleaned up and left the property in great shape. They were easy to work with and flexible to work around our schedule (and the cold weather). I'd use them again and would recommend them to anyone.

They arrived on time with the appropriate equipment, worked in a safe manner, and completed the job in one day. The workers were always busy picking up branches, raking, and cleaning up. No one was ever just standing around. It was obvious the crew worked well together and respected each other and showed pride in what they were doing. We are extremely satisifed with their professionalism and know-how to do a difficult and dangerous job safely and efficiently.

It was like an aerial ballet with a crane, chainsaws and climbers. The work was done on time, beautifully and for the estimated price. I give these folks absolute top marks and I'd recommend them in a hearbeat.
