From the first inquiry Scott was punctual, friendly and efficient. On the day of the work, he arrived on time, went over all parts of the job before starting, checked in with me when he had questions and did a great job of anticipating the choices we'd want to make. He made every attempt to keep his surroundings tidy as he worked, and cleaned up completely when finished. Unlike many workmen, he was a pleasure to have in the house. A reliable, knowledgeable electrician is almost impossible to find, and I'd hire Scott again in a heartbeat. Highly recommended!

He listened patiently to the symptoms, asked a number of questions, then went through a list of possible causes, narrowing it down to the most likely. He was on Christmas vacation so could not come out, but he even had me text images of the outlet in question and sent back a solution for me to try. This is amazing to me. We've never met, but all that has been written on Angie's List about "A" service is true. I immediately put his contact info in my directory. If I need an electrician, he will be the first one I call for his professionalism, his patience, his deductive reasoning and his kindness.

Scott promptly stopped by within minutes of my request on Angie's List. He explained the work in detail that was to be performed. He started the work the next week and coordinated all of the city permits and power company logistics. After making a request, Scott called the same day to talk about what we needed done. He understood that we were in a "time crunch" with the pending sale of our home and needed the work done quickly. We scheduled a time for Scott to come out and look at the panel so he could get the proper replacement panel, wiring, and circuits. Scott was very courteous and professional. Even though Scott said his work calendar was full, he was able to fit us in sooner than we had originally scheduled. The panel and all contents were replaced and passed the electrical inspection easily. And the final bill came in less than the original estimate. Verdant Electric was the only company that was up front and listed an hourly rate on its website. In speaking with Scott, he was genuine and honest. We would gladly use Verdant again.

Scott was here, twice. 1st time installed hail light and removed outdoor lights. Needed backers to install on siding for new lights. So when he came back he installed those as well as the lights. Great job.

When I initially contacted Scott, he was booked for several weeks. Our need was not urgent so I was able to wait for him. I thought he would probably be later than promised because nothing ever goes as planned but he called on the day I was going to follow up with him and was able to make it in the time frame promised. Scott the Electrician / owner arrived on time, performed a professional job, left a clean work area and submitted inspection request to City of Plymouth. Our home is 40 plus years old so nothing is ever simple but he dealt with all of the issues well. He corrected earlier errors such as no conduit in block wall. I would use him again and will when the need arises.

Scott identified an issue of our microwave being on the same circuit breaker as our lighting which is a fire hazard. He reviewed a path to run wires to make the least amount of holes in our drywall and is preparing a bid for that work. He is sourcing two circuit breakers of correct ampage becuase our breaker board is really old. I would definitely work with Scott again and we plan to repair our hazardous issues with him. I would confidently refer him to others.

Everything went well. I would recommend him to others. If you look elsewhere, you'll find that a master electrician at a larger company will cost an additional 20% more.

Scott was very responsive and stopped by the house (even though i wasn't able to meet him) to determine the problem. He then came back on his day off and completed the work in a timely, professional manner. I would strongly recommend him and his company.

Scott did a great job and surged me 300 less than the agreed upon did because it took less time and paternalist than be expected would definitely use again.

Scott spent a good deal of time looking at our various problems, giving us a good education about options, and actually taking an outlet out of the wall in the room that had been struck by lightning - he showed us how things had melted inside and that we were lucky there hadn't been a fire. He gave us a good estimate and even was willing to divide it into smaller projects for us to help make it more affordable. His pricing was good, we just weren't able to have the work done yet. We will definitely be calling him to do the work when we are ready to move forward with it. He was very pleasant and we look forward to working with him. I would absolutely recommend him to anyone needing electrical work.

Scott arrived early to the house, which was great. I came home 15 minutes earlier than the agreed upon time to see if I could get a few things ready, but he was already there by the time I arrived. He got started right away. When we initially talked on the phone, he told me that it would be a good idea to know which breaker I needed to turn off for him to work, so we could save some time (because the fee is based on hours of service). Because I had not done so before hand, I quick figured out and turned off the necessary breakers while he was getting ready. That saved some time. First, he replaced the electrical outlet in no time. The outlet was loose, so anything you plugged in just fell right out. He then worked on replacing the chandelier. That went pretty smoothly. Because the chandelier had a lot of decorative pieces to add, he let me just use his ladder and put on the decorations while he worked on the other projects. My ladder would not have worked well and it took me a good 15-20 minutes to finish putting on the decorations, so that worked out well. The garbage disposal wires took a little longer than I expected, but that wasn?t his fault. I didn?t know how to describe the wiring situation down there, so he wasn?t quite prepared for the work that was needed. Ultimately, that was done well also. The light switch was a quick fix.Overall, everything went very smoothly and he did a great job. The time it took to complete the job and the cost was pretty close to what he had discussed over the phone, so that was nice. I like to watch people fix things, so I watched and talked to him the whole time. He was very pleasant and knowledgeable and did a great job.

Scott was quick to respond, even showing up early. He knew exactly how to diagnose the particular problem. He even came prepared with parts that might be needed. He was in and out very quickly and even helped to teach me a few things about the wiring. I would definitely recommend his services to anyone! I will definitely use him again.

I searched from a list of "A" rated Angie's electricians in the Twin Cities area for a small electrical job of adding a single electrical outlet in the lobby of my small office reception area and Scott was the only one could could provide me with service right away. In addition, his pricing was less than most of the larger firms, which is always a plus, providing we receieve top notch service. Well, this was an exceptional experience. I purchashed a new TV and mount at Sam's Club and asked him if he could also "hang" the TV on the wall and install the outlet and he said yes, and was available the next morning. I thought the job was quite straight forward and it sounded like he could handle this small commercial job without too much difficulty, so we agreed on his hourly rate, without trip charge and time, which was a pleasant surprise. I am very particular about punctuality and our appointment was scheduled for 10 am and he arrived at 9:59 am the next day, so he got high grades in this department instantly. He proceeded to check with our buiding manager and found out where the electrical lines tied in and he proceeded to work on the job. Office buildings can sometimes be a bit more complicated, but I could tell within minutes that he was exceptionally knowledgeable. The job was easy for him and I could sense he knew what he was doing. Before I contacted Scott, I contacted the office building manager and they stated the cost for an installation for their "in-house" electrician would be around $500, give or take, $20 for this project and I thought that was very high, so they told me I had the option of hiring my own licensed electirican and I am so glad that I did! As a small business owner or consumer, who doesn't want to save money and I saved several hundred dollars, which also include a Bloomington, MN electrical permit which was $45, so this was a bargain of bargains! I don't use the services of an electrician very often, but I would hire Scott to come out to my business or home without any reservations for future projects. In addition, Scott was very pleasant and had an easy going personality and it was an A+++ experience from start to finish! I have written a number of reports for contractors over the years, and in my opinion, Scott deserves to be one of the busiest and most utilizied electricians with his professionalism, pricing and punctuality. Thank you for a job that exceeded my expectations, Scott! You can hire Scott with confidence and I would be willing to bet that your experience would mirror my highly satisfied experience for your home or commercial project. He has very few A ratings, but don't let this fool you. He is a Master Electrician and his services are priced very fairly, which equates to the perfect contractor in my eyes.

Everything went on schedule and as planned.

Very well. He was here for a short time 2 days and did everything efficiently and truthfully. i am glad he steered me to a good baswboard heater because the one we replaces was a mismatched voltage and might have been a fire hazard.

Arrived on time. Removed existing light fixtures on outside of house. There were no electrical boxes present so he had to cut an opening and install boxes in both locations. This required some modifications that will last a long time. Also repaired an inside light switch that had not been properly installed.

My husband and I bought a home with an unfinished basement that had fluorescent lighting. It worked poorly in winter and didn't light the space well for doing laundry. Plus, it just needed more lighting in general. I presented Scott with our problem and he understood how the environment in our basement required more of an outdoor lighting solution given the cold and occasional dampness. He gave us a couple of ideas that were cost-effective. Scott arrived on time, brought all the equipment he needed, and was done quickly. The covered lights we choose that he installed have worked out great! No more flickering lights for me while doing laundry! :)

Scott has done electrical work on my house twice over the past year, most recently fixing some old code violations after I had my house re-sided. He also installed an outlet and some wired smoke detectors inside. The time before that, Scott installed 10 drops of CAT-6 in my house and installed some outlets, along with a few other minor wiring fixes. On both jobs, Scott was very thorough, professional, and detail-oriented. He is easy going and easy to talk to and clearly explained different options. On both jobs, I thought his rates were very reasonable. He was recommended to me by a friend who had hired Scott before.
