Bill is a certified arborist and was present through much of the work, performing a substantial amount himself. They paid special attention to the aesthetics of the trees and were meticulous about cleanup. I would definitely hire them again!

The did a great job. I came home from work and it was like the tree had been vaporized. The yard was clean and undamaged. The only thing left was the stump which they removed a couple of days later right on schedule. They did all this with only access through our back 36" gate. Other companies said we'd have to take down a section of our fence. We got our quote a year ago and were delayed in having it done because of our travel plans. The price went up by about $40.

Bill knows his trees! He was very professional in assessing our needs and explaining his recommendations. Good price. The job was done promptly and efficiently. Clean-up was thorough.

I used this company on a recommendation from another Angie's List tree trimmer I called who was not available. Because this company was also listed on Angie's list, I called them. The person who answered the phone was very friendly and the response time for the estimate was very good. Scheduling took place right away with a one week delay due to rain. The crew was efficient, friendly, and the results are excellent.

Was informed that they currently do not remove trees with Dutch elm. Was confused on why a company would turn away what likely would be a $1000+ job, plus future business... but I would imagine the company has their reasons. My responses below reflect the fact that my only contact with the company was the receptionist. The receptionist was pleasant on the phone... though I had some difficult in getting through (lines were busy). My B rating for overall experience is primarily because of my disappointment the company doesn't remove trees with Dutch elm. I indicated that I wouldn't hire this company for future jobs solely because I want a tree service company that can handle all my needs.

Great experience working with this company. My call for an estimate was returned immediately; the estimate was done quickly and the work completed in a timely manner. Bill is friendly, knowledgeable, professional and efficient. I had a large section of one tree hanging over a neighbor's fenced yard. Bill removed that limb without disturbing the neighbor or his fence. I'm not sure how; but he did. I was very pleased with the clean up. They did not leave a twig behind, all was ground up and hauled away; that day. EXCELLENT experience.

We have used him since 1998 and I have other neighbors that use him as wellHe is very knowledgeable and is also an arborist. They are very good about cleaning up after themselves. Bill Whealen is the owner and I like the fact that he is local.

PRICES WERE A LITTLE HIGHER THAN I PREFERRED, BUT SERVICE AND RESULTS WERE EXCELLENT.

I HAD HIM DO THIS WORK WHEN I WAS OUT OF TOWN, I HAD SOMETHING ELSE I WANTED HIM TO DO WHEN I CAME BACK AND HE CAME BACK NO PROBLEM. VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE. PLEASURE TO WORK WITH HIM.
