In the age of expensive cable TV it is almost impossible to get good advice on TV antennas. Larry has worked in the business for many years and is now semi-retired and works out of his home. He no longer climbs up the ladder or installs antennas but he has a wealth of information and is competitive on price. As the antenna was for my cabin in Wisconsin, Larry took the time to research the location for what he thought was my best option. Materials that I received: antenna; power rotor & control box; signal booster; grounding wire & rod; all cables cut to length and capped with fittings; hardware to attach pole and plastic ties for cable. I put the antenna in place a couple of weeks ago and reception is quite good (120miles from Twin Cities and 60 miles from Duluth). All in all it's just what I wanted. The best antenna I could get for the money and no monthly charges or cable providers to deal with!

He did things right. He got up on the roof and I told him I wanted all the whistles and bells because I had been angry with the service I had in the past. I was willing to buy a roter and he said I didn't need one. He knew exactly where to set the antenna. He knew what he was talking about and he did what was right. I appreciated his honesty very much. He didn't try to make me spend money that I didn't have to. I told him I wanted the antenna mounted on the peak of the roof and he told me the wind would cause more problems in that location. He mounted it where he wanted to mount it and it's all working fine.
Description of Work: He came out and set up our tv antenna.

Highly recommend Mr Trester for any of your TV Antenna installation needs.
Description of Work: Wanted to get rid of cable. We had an antenna already installed in the attic. But the wiring was all messed up as we had satellite and then cable in the interim. Needed somebody to come and figure the whole thing out. Called Mr. Trester. Was very impressed with Trester. He is a 79 year old guy. And it is difficult to find guys with his work ethic and meticulousness nowadyas. He spent 2 hours at my place and set the whole thing up for me. Cleaned up the whole web of wires that was coming into my basement. Labelled them. What a difference from the satellite/cable TV installers whom seem to want to just finish your job as quickly as possible. Because of the mess created by these guys I had to hire Mr. Trester.
