For the original installation they came months after they said they would. However, the cables installed have not worked. Despite numerous phone calls they have not come out to repair them. At first they promised to come "this week or next week" but never showed up. Later, they just stopped answering or returning the phone calls.

They were fast, friendly, scheduled conveniently, showed up when they said they would, and were done when they said they would be. Price was the best of three, and we're very satisfied.

They were good on everything. I had nothing to compare the price would.

We had a house fire 2 years ago and we had a contractor who got a lot of work done for us. I have to deal with my contractor because if there are any issues that come up with my house then I expect him to come and repair them. I would not recommend Topside Roofing & Siding to anyone at all. They finished the work in February of 2008. I don?t remember the price that they charged me, as it was covered by my insurance company. Whatever was spent for the work wasn?t worth at all. We had a trim molding around the windows. We also had a crown and a sill molding. They pulled the lineal pieces and wanted to reuse them. I was willing to work with them, but I didn?t have enough money that insurance could cover everything. However, when they came out to put the siding on, only one guy spoke English and the rest of them spoke Portuguese. So, it was difficult to communicate with them, but they weren?t given the proper supplies. I wouldn?t blame the guys who put it up because they weren?t the ones who were doing the supplies. They were also not given the proper trim to go around the windows. I told them to use the old stuff and one of the guys showed me the stuff which was all broken. None of the old stuff could be used and what they were using was the cheapest molding. So, I thought that whoever was supposed to get the supplies didn?t get the proper supplies. I stopped them from working and made some phone calls. The guys who were ordering knew exactly what we had. Two to three weeks later the guys were here again and put the wrong stuff. They were putting the lineal and not the crown or the sill molding on. So, we stopped them again and they finally got someone who spoke English. Finally we got the proper stuff and the guys put it up. It?s kind of new stuff in the area and not too many places use it or understand as to how it?s done, but they finally got it up. Behind the life pictures I had little vinyl boxes that they were supposed to check. I had the big ones and they ordered the small ones. So, we were trying to get in to the house and couldn?t get in. We couldn?t get the electrical work done till they got the boxes. So, they asked me if it was okay to put up the grey ones instead and replace them later. So, they took the grey ones up and one of the guys who was in charge of ordering stuff said that they would get it painted in another week. I wanted the proper color as we had no maintenance. We finally got it done after some pushing and after insisting them. They were difficult to deal with and it seemed like they were trying to cut corners all the way around. We had our house repaired before in 2006, as we had a hailstorm. The fire broke out a week after my mother died. I don?t really blame the workers too much, but they could have been educated a little more on how to put up the siding. It wasn?t up to the same standard that we had done a year and a half before that. We had another guy who had done the work before and I can?t say enough well about him. He was even willing to help us with some fascia trim as these guys couldn?t get it done. I really wasn?t happy with them, as I don?t feel like my roof line and my shingles were put on quite as crisp and straight as they were done before. It cost me around 15000 $ with the extras that I added on, before. So, I am assuming that these guys got more than their fair share. They showed up on time and worked with the material that they were given. I don?t feel that they were supplied with the proper support that they needed. I will not use them again in the future.
