Tillers Steam Carpet Cleaning

Tiller's showed up 30 minutes late, gave me an estimate $200 higher than what was quoted to me over the phone. I was shocked with the price and turned them away.

I got this company from Angie's List and they were good. The price they charge was right and they were courteous and they didn't do a service that I didn't want to do and they were fine with that.

Went well. Technician, Larry, was a bit late but did call. Also was quite pleasant and gabby. Once we agreed to his price (which was lower than the estimate) he got straight to work. He was thorough and efficient. I definitely would use him and Tiller again to clean my carpets and would look at Tiller's other services.

We had never had carpets professionally cleaned before.These guys did a great job for a fair price. Stains I thought would never come up (or had never come up with a rental machine) are gone. They were right on time (10" April snowstorm didn't delay them). We have a chair that our dog likes to rub on and they cleaned the black oily stain right off of it. Very pleased.

Incredibly flexible and responsive relative to scheduling. Day of service, there were perfectly on-time. We requested that the carpets be cleaned, but but be dry by the next morning and... The carpets were very clean and perfectly dry! Great job!

I thought they did a good job and I would used them again.

We discussed the problem areas and the price. We needed to go out soon after he arrived. We paid and left him to do his work. We came home to a spotless carpet.

They were stuck in traffic and communicated that they would be a half of an hour late which was fine. Performed the cleaning to my furniture. The only thing that bothered me was I was quoted $125.00, and when they were on site we were told I had "big" furniture and was charged $161.66. I would understand a little higher because I had an ottoman, but not $36 higher because I have "big" furniture. Left a bad taste in my mouth!

Work was done in a professional manner. Price wasn't great or terrible; it was about what we expected to pay. They did a good job and were efficient in their work.

When we called we were given a phone estimate and they held to it - although they had not seen the off white carpet. They were prompt and worked us into their busy schedule within our time constraints. They were on time and went about their business with expert professionalism. They made sure we were satisfied before they left; and went out of their way to make sure we were satisfied customers. They honored their Angie's Special without being asked. They were great to work with. They were quick to satisfy their guarantee and did so graciously.

They had good service. They did a good job cleaning the carpets. I don't have any complaints.

It was a tough job as we have an old cat who made several "messes" on both chairs. Tiller's made the chairs look (and smell!) like new. Punctual, professional and reasonably priced. I will certainly call on them again.

I've used them since 1991 and they're great. They're a family-owned company, and they're very friendly. I really like how reliable and honest they are, and their rates are great!

They were just great and the carpets were clean and fresh - no soapy or detergent smell. The spot where the Golden Retriever sleeps gets a grimy look, and they got it perfectly clean. I will certainly have them back!

They guaranteed they could remove the pet stains on my carpet. Two days after they were hear the smell was so bad from the dampness they had to come back out and clean it.

This company did a good job for us, after they had finished I found a spot and they came back and cleaned it. I would consider using them again in the future.

The technician was on time. He was professional, friendly, and did a great job of cleaning the carpets.

I called to schedule the carpet cleaning and they were able to come out in about 1 week which was good for me. The day before they were scheduled, they called to confirm the appointment. They came out as scheduled (actually a little early which was great) and prepared a detailed estimate and it was very close to the approximate cost given over the phone. The cleaning was done in about 1 hour and the carpet looks great. They were professional and efficient and I was very pleased overall with the process and the cleaning.

We have 2 long hair cats and an elderly dog that has seizures and urinates during a seizure. The cats shed their really fine inner coat which gets embedded in the carpet, hairballs leave stains and they repeatedly marked under a window in an attempt to make a stray male cat go away. We had Tillers clean our carpets several years ago and were amazed at how clean they were. Once again, they didn't disappoint. The carpet is once again a light beige with no hint of any of the previous stains. I can't smell any cat urine odor and apparently neither do the cats. They walk over the area with absolutely no reaction. The couch looks like it did when it was new. Both carpet and couch were completely dry in less than 24 hours. Both are very soft, with no sign of any residue.

From the beginning, Tillers was very professional. I have used them before and have been happy with them. They provided an estimate of costs before they came, and the estimate was accurate. They were easy to work with for scheduling. The carpets were cleaned very thoroughly. Overall, a good experience.

I called about a week ahead of time and they were able to schedule my cleaning when I needed it. Arrived on time, cleaned carefully, and they were able to reduce staining on very old, very dirty carpet. We have used Tiller's before and were happy - and we are still pleased with their work. We will use them again in the future. They have kept a family business attitude and know what good customer service means.

9/28/11 I could not be more pleased with this company! I chose them based on their reviews .. but in no way did I dream I would get the service above and beyond like I did! I spoke to the owner Ed Tiller mentioning I was getting our current home carpet and furniture cleaned because of a diagnosis of a lung disease. This lead to a discussion of our move to a new condo .. purchasing a special carpet that we had been told "was green" and could be frequently steam cleaned by us between professional cleanings. I then told him about the steam cleaning machine I had purchased. This busy man THEN proceeded to research not only the carpet .. the carpet backing .. AND the steam cleaning machine! Then called to warn me to be sure to only use the very lowest setting on the machine! In talking to Ed I was SO impressed by the "old fashioned" sense of integrity .. of doing business "the right way" that you just don't always find anymore! Then on to the actual cleaning! When Larry arrived and was told of the lung issue .. he did an absolutely wonderful job! The carpet looked like NEW when he finished! Plus the furniture really did not need cleaning .. it merely needed a strong suction vacuuming with a professional suction .. which he then did a great job of .. being VERY careful of a custom made bed covering. I cannot recommend Ed Tiller and Larry highly enough .. these are really good people .. people you will be lucky to deal with in this day and age!

The carpet looks brand new! They were very punctual. They were within $20 of their original bid, which I found impressive, and they even moved all my furniture back!
