Tillers Steam Carpet Cleaning

Were able to schedule my carpet cleaning for a date within one week of my initial call. Were friendly and helpful on the phone. Called to confirm the appointment. Showed up as promised in the time window that they told me. Gave a firm price quote before any work was started. Cleaned carpet quickly. All the major equipment was in the truck so there was no tracking it through the house. Larry performed the work and he was very professional and personable.

I called several carpet companies from Angie's List to get an idea of cost in the weeks leading up to my party. The owner of Tiller's talked with me, rather a gruff individual, very straightforward. He told me my cost would be around $250 to $300, based on the square footage that I took from my house plans. When Larry, the employee arrived, he looked around my house and told me the cost would be closer to $500, which was quite a shock. I had called Sebastians Carpet Cleaning, and they were much closer in terms of the actual price, but I didn't have the option to call and arrange another cleaner since my party was within the week. I was on a party budget, and I ended up reducing the amount of food to make sure my carpet was cleaned. Larry did a wonderful job, and did match a newer piece of carpet repair to an older carpet in my spare room; the hallways and stairs, plus heavy traffic areas were so much cleaners after the work. Everything was done in a quality manner, and very professionally. I would probably have another company come and quote my job next time to make sure I'm getting a fair price for the amount of carpeting cleaned.

It went great! There was a little confusion about timing but the person who did come out was very good. He showed me a lot of things and really wanted to know what I wanted. He really wanted to make sure the details were done the way we wanted them done.

Service was good, excellent job with the cleaning. Only one stain didn't come all the way out. That one is much lighter now than it was before. There was only one small hiccup. There were a couple of potted plants sitting on the front steps and they ended up with soapy water in them. Otherwise everything was good.

Gave estimate based on my measurements over the phone. Remeasured when arrived and total turned out to be lower than quoted. Larry explained everything and got right to work. Was here about 3 hours in total. Moved furniture as necessary. Carpet looks almost new! On his way out, Larry even cleaned the rugs outside the door to the house in the garage so we wouldn't track dirt onto the cleaned carpet. I will call them again next time the carpets are dirty. They made the whole process easy.

Overall, good service, but their pet stain enzyme turned our green carpet red and they had to come back twice to get it back to normal. The end result was fine and they were always prompt and courteous.

They removed the recent red Gatorade stain and nearly removed an old pop stain that had darkened after cleaning by another company. The pop stain is almost invisible and I am very happy with my results. The carpet is very expensive and a light creme color, so I am thrilled to have it clean!

I wasn't present for the service but my husband was. He was surprised that it took less than hour to do the whole house. We had 2 pet stains in the living room that were still there after the carpets were cleaned. I was told when I set the appointment up that the tech would let me know if using the stain remover (which would've been additional cost) would take out these stains but nothing was said. I can only assume that the stains wouldn't of come out. Again, I wasn't there but we were under the assumption that this would have been addressed. Also, the tech left his jacket and cleaning product at my house. I had to contact Tillers the next business and let them know that they needed to come out and get these things. I was told that this tech works fast and if I had any issues with the cleaning that they would come back out at no additional charge. I've never hired anyone to clean carpets before so I really don't know if I would hire them again.

I could not be more pleased. I will not even consider using any other company in the future. Not only does the carpeting look bright and clean, but Larry was even able to get rid of the deep indentations from the very heavy furniture in my bedroom. The carpeting looks practically new - I wish I had hired them a couple of years ago. Additionally, the person handling the appointment was very professional and courteous. They followed up with me the day after cleaning to make sure I was satisfied.

Our show room carpet needed cleaning and we hired this company. They did a great job. The carpet was cleaner that I thought it would be. They came in on a Saturday morning and they did not charge any extra for that.

I called the company upon a recommendation from Angie's List and an appointment was set for a time of my convenience. The person arrived and completed the job, gave a discount for a coupon and left.

They are prompt, courteous and thorough.

It had been awhile since we had the carpets cleaned. We added a dog to our list of pets and we had a few dog problems. Tilleers is a busy company and we had to wait a couple of weeks but the service is friendly and they did a great job. The spots are gone and the the carpet smells good. We would use them again. Larry was super friendly and moved the bed for us. The wool area rugs came out great even though they say they should be specially laundered.

Very well. I called with only a couple of days notice and they were able to accommodate my needs which was really appreciated. They were on time (actually early, which worked out well for me) and very open to some special requests. They even cleaned a child's upholstery chair and got out juice and yogurt stains, too!

Their quote was the most reasonable out of the three I received. I had some spots that came back but the carpeting is older.

Office personnel were extremely polite and helpful. Cleaner arrived on time, called for specific directions due to construction detour, and performed all of the work requested. Did an excellent job. Best carpet cleaner I've had in almost twenty years.

THEY PAID CLOSE CLOSE ATTENTION TO DETAIL AND MADE SURE THAT EVERYTHING WAS FINISHED PROPERLY. THEY WERE PUNCTUAL.

Found Tiller's through Angie's List and I can see why they rate so well. I was given a rough estimate of work over the phone and scheduled a week later at a time that worked best for me. They were running a little late due to morning jobs taking longer, but did call to alert me they would be running 30 minutes late. Cost for the job was determined on site and was quick and easy to understand. Actual cleaning went quickly and the noise was minimal due to equipment being out in the truck.

They showed up two hours late, which we would have appreciated a phone call. They were very pleasant while in the home and the carpet looks great.

They were responsive, on time, and very pleasant gentleman.

Overall, it went fine. However, it was set up for 2:30 and they called to come at 12:15 but I was still at work and couldn't leave. I felt some pressure to do the earlier time because they said they would wait for me and I felt bad having them sit around waiting for me so long. We agreed to meet at 2:30 but I called the receptionist at about 1:40 and said I would be willing to meet him at 2:00. I did not like how she handled it. She was rude and in a snotty tone, said that he was waiting for me. I asked if he was at my house waiting and she again said he was waiting for me in a snotty tone. She then said she would call him and tell him I would be on my way home. This left me feeling bad about the company. I had never hired this company before and I was sure I never would again. When he arrived he was pleasant and said he was enjoying shopping at a nearby supply store. He did a good job and my carpet looks a lot better. I might consider hiring them again but I'm not sure.

Previously used a chain carpet cleaning company and found Tillers results were so much better than others, also like to support local companies. All equipment needed to clean the carpet is within the truck. That includes the water to steam clean, they don't have to hook up to a faucet at your house. Also, the noise is outside and if someone is sleeping inside, it is not at all disturbing. Excellent customer service and would highly recommend

I had Tiller's clean all of our carpets about two months ago and have never had cleaner carpets. And, they've stayed clean! I can't remember what I paid, but we felt it was very reasonable and I was extremely impressed with the time they took and effort they put into cleaning. In the past, when we've had our carpets cleaned, spots come back out within a week or two. Not this time! They were very responsive when I called with this red wine spill. I wasn't able to be home, so gave them my garage code. All three times they've come to the house, it's been at the time they said they'd be there or earlier. I wish all vendors could be as responsive, reasonable and trustworthy! I will definitely continue to use Tiller's!

Job 1) Excellent. Job 2) Excellent. The carpet is low looped and was installed in about 1996. I'd always been afraid to have it steam cleaned worrying that it would get too wet. But the other cleaning service I've been using just wasn't getting it clean anymore, so I tried this and it worked great. The carpet did not get very wet and dried in about 6-8 hours. (I put 2 fans on it.) Spots that were still there after the last cleaning (by a different company) disappeared!
