Tillers Steam Carpet Cleaning

Jeremy arrived when they said he would and did a check of the area and lowered the estimate we had been quoted. He did a very thorough job of cleaning the carpet which hadn't been cleaned for a while. There was one spot in front of the couch that was badly soiled and he offered to come back if it wasn't clean enough after it dried. It turned out just fine after drying. I would definitely call them again.

The pre-work estimate was fairly accurate (a small bit high, so getting the actual was nice), and the scheduling was easy. I called about 8 days in advance. They were on time, worked quickly, and could answer my questions. They also followed-up by phone to make sure everything was fine. And, because the tech forgot to give me my Angie's List coupon, they're sending me a check in the mail.

They're on time. They tell you exactly what they are going to do up front. Then they do it and make sure it's done to our satisfaction. They are more than willing to put in the extra work in order to get it right even if the carpet is terribly soiled. They did an incredibly good job with carpet that had been soiled by flood water.

They were rated highly on Angie?s List and so I tried them. I was very impressed with them. I have animals and I had some stains and they did an absolutely fabulous job. I thought their prices were great and I got a carpet protector too.

Excellent customer service by phone. I was trying to squeeze in an appointment with little advance notice. They were very helpful and were able to get me an appointment before out-of-town guests arrived. The work was excellent. I'll never call Stanley Steamer again - there is no comparison.

This company does an excellent job! Their techs seem to be well trained and they take the time to do a thorough job (unlike some of the companies that do lots of advertising about cheap rates). Thank you Mike. Their office staffer is helpful and follows through with a reminder call.

He worked quietly and efficiently. The carpet was soft and clean.

Larry was the person doing the work. He arrived about 5-10 minutes early. He spent time with me going over what needed to be done. He then did an estimate and proceeded to do the work. He had estimated fours for the job and was done about 10 minutes early. When it was all over, he had restored the furniture to almost new (furniture was 10 years old and subjected to the punishments of two children). Larry was very professional with the job. He was ready to answer any questions that came up. This is my first time with this company, and I would say that the other reviews on Angie's List are very accurate about them. I will use them again.

Tiller's gave me an estimate over the phone based on my approximate room measurements. She told me that they would take measurements for an exact cost when they came on-site. The service person arrived on time, did the measurements, and gave me the itemized list before he started work. I had already moved the small items out of the areas to be cleaned before he arrived. He and I discussed which of the the larger items I wanted him to move and clean underneath, and which items (such as my china cabinet) I wanted left in place and cleaned around. As he cleaned, he moved the agreed items out of the way and then set them back on small styro or plastic blocks to keep them up off of the damp carpet. The process took about 2 hours total and was much more quiet than I expected. After he left, I could see no sign that he’d been there other than my slightly damp and clean carpet. I was very pleased with the work.

They did a particularly nice job on the upholstery on one of the chairs they cleaned. We were pleased with their work.

Tillers did a great job. The woman on the phone was very pleasant and knowledgeable about the process and did an estimate over the phone. Scheduling was easy and quick. The technician came out to the house, revised the estimate based on actual square footage and got to work. He got a wine stain out of a cream colored carpet and made our heavily soiled carpets look great. Would not hesitate to hire again.

The technician was friendly and chatty. He measured the house for a complete quote. While the size was close to the phone estimate, the initial estimate was $400 with stain guard, the onsite estimate was $780. Whoa....we did not get carpet guard. So elected a smaller service. The price was futher reduced when the techinican broke a table, which he made right by reducing the price, but taking the table with him. The carpets did look great and he did try to make things right.

When I contacted them for a quote I estimated the size of the rooms -- which turned out to greater than the actual size by 20 square feet. However, when I was given the quote they reduced the square footage by 25% due to the fact that I did not want heavy pieces (such as the entertainment center) moved. In my ignorance I didn't realize that this was WAY TO MUCH TO REDUCE THE SQUARE FOOTAGE BY!. As a Result they quoted me $184.41 (before Angie's discount) but billed me 20% more ($234.00 before Angie's discount). It may not be a lot of money to some people, but $50 makes a big difference to me. The woman who quoted (she refused to give her name when I called back and did hang up on me) said that is standard policy in her 14 years of experience and she had no intention of low balling me to get the business. This is probably true. She also warned me at the time of the quote that the rooms would be measured when the technician arrived and the price would be based on that. Again, the actual room sizes were 20 sq. ft. LESS than I had told her over the phone. I would just like to warn other people who are getting quotes -- do not allow them to reduce your dimensions as it may make a big difference in the quote vs what you may actually pay (and not in your favor).

We found them on Angie's list and they gave us a discount. They were really nice to work with. I will definitely use them again. There professionalism was really good.

The representative did an accurate measurement of the square footage to be cleaned; explained in detail the pricing and the differential between rugs and carpet; and took great care with the equipment and hoses to not mar any of the moulding or baseboards. Additionally, the carpet was dry within 24 hours and looks fantastic!

It was a small job. Except for the minimum price they charge for services, everything went well. We plan to use them to clean the carpeting throughout our entire house after our remodel is done.

He did a very good job and was careful about furniture removal. I was very pleased with the outcome of the cleaning. He was courteous and was willing to touch up a couple of spots before leaving. The company even called back the next day to inquire about my satisfaction.

It went great. It cost a bit more than I expected but I did not know how much square footage I really had. I also added on 4 area rugs. Still it seemed like a fair price and the work was great. It is important to me to know that if a stain came back, I could call them and the problem would be resolved.

I have used them a couple of times. I like that, if I am not satisfied with the cleaning, they come back and do it over. They do a good job. They are very responsive. They are pretty friendly and professional. I will continue to use them.
