+ -1 moreThe people were very helpful. They had a pretty decent floor selection but they also have more variety of sinks in the back so ask to see what they have before walking out. They also have lots of references of professionals in the area that can help with the install. Overall very good selection and help. Would go back again for future products and advice.

+ -1 moreKate and Tony were 2 of the staff who helped us select our tile for a remodel of our bathroom walls and floors. Kate was great helping us figure out how much tile we needed of each kind and sent us with samples so we could make sure what we picked out would look great at home. Later when we needed to pick our grouting colors- staff gave feedback on a couple colors that might be an issue with our tile. Very knowledgeable. They were out of one of the colors in the smaller size we needed. Staff worked with us to help get what we needed that same day without having to pay lots extra to do so!
Description of Work: Gave feedback about types of tile and what would work together (floor tile and wall tile and the trim)

Description of Work: We purchased slate tile from the Tile Shop for a project we had done in our home. We found the staff there to be knowledgable and helpful. I think they had a great selection of tiles in the store and it was a great place to go for ideas too! We had the tile installed through a different contractor and only used the Tile Shop to purchase the tiles.

+ -1 moreI had an idea of what I wanted and I worked with Annie who was great. She was helpful and nice and helped me think through the materials and design of the tile I chose. She offered suggestions and went and got other options for me to look at after I picked out the main tile. We ended up with a porcelain tile and some natural stone accents which looks beautiful.
Description of Work: We needed new tile in our downstairs bathroom and we had been to the Tile Shop before and had been happy with their selection so I went there again. I also got a discount through my contractor, which was an added bonus. I would have gone there anyway, but it was nice to have the discount too.

+ -1 moreREALLY CONSIDER THE HEATED TILE (IT'S A MESH SHEET WITH HEAT COILS THAT IS PUT UNDER THE TILE). IT'S GREAT TO GET UP IN THE MORNING AND MAKE COFFEE WITH WARM TILES UNDER MY FEET!
Description of Work: TUCKED IN THE BACK OF 84TH AND LYNDALE AVENUE SOUTH IS A LITTLE STORE CALLED THE TILE SHOP. INSIDE, YOU'LL FIND THOUSANDS OF TILES, ALL SHAPES AND SIZES WITH A VERY FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL STAFF. I HAD NEVER PURCHASED TILE AND WAS ASSISTED BY A WONDERFUL STAFF MEMBER, LINCOLN ADAMS, WHO TOOK A GREAT DEAL OF TIME EXPLAINING TO ME THE KINDS OF TILE THAT ARE BEST SUITED FOR DIFFERENT SPACES, HOW TO MATCH TILE WITH ACCENT PIECES, ETC. PERHAPS THE BEST LESSON OF ALL WAS WHEN HE SHOWED THE THE VISUAL APPEAL OF HOW THE TILES WERE LAID ON THE FLOOR. I WAS SHOPPING FOR MY VERY SMALL KITCHEN FLOOR, AND MR. ADAMS SHOWED ME AN AREA IN THE SHOWROOM WHERE TILES WERE LAID AT AN ANGLE, AND BY LAYING THE TILES THIS WAY, THE SMALL AREA SUDDENLY APPEARED TO DOUBLE IN SPACE. MR. ADAMS TOOK THE TIME TO DEMONSTRATE SEVERAL DIFFERENT PRODUCTS AND ANSWERED MY BARRAGE OF ENDLESS QUESTIONS. I APPRECIATE THAT IN A SALESPERSON AND WAS HAPPY TO DO BUSINESS WITH THE TILE SHOP.
