TECHS 2 GO

Description of Work: Techs2Go was called to come to my house to get my Internet access working again. Henry regained my Internet access. (See details below.) Upon the home site service call, it was determined my hard drive was 'dying' and needed to be replaced ASAP. Henry took my computer back to his office for repair. We asked him to add more memory as well. (See details below.) It had been working. (I have Comcast Internet cable service). However, with recent upgrades and changes to the software, the addition of wi-fi, and a cable splitter, I lost access to the Internet. (I had used another company that activated my wi-fi that was a 'Internet only' service. Therefore, I couldn't go back to them for help since they could only access me via the Internet.) I couldn't access my Angie's List either because of the no Internet access. I found Techs2Go in the yellow pages. Fortunately, Henry was able to come within 48 hours of my call.

Description of Work: Upgraded my office computer with new motherboard,hard drive and several other parts. Had him transfer my current data etc. to my new HD and make it all work. This computer has run well now for some time.

Description of Work: They replaced McAfee with free stuff that doesn't work. The performance is awful. At 1st, the PC would not even boot when got it back. I had to reinstall the virus protection they had loaded. WindowsDefender still doesn't work. My PestPatrol was removed, thinking it was theirs. It was reinstalled but not fully functioning now because my license that I paid for is gone. They used PestPatrol for spyware when I already had it, so they obviously didn't diagnose the problem. The PC was not ready when they said I could pick it up. It was a 50 mile round trip. They said they would call 2 schedule the external hard-drive installation that they did not have time to do. It's been 2 months & still no call. 3 people worked on my PC, & none knew what the others were doing or had done.
