+ -1 moreVery good. Work performed as promised. Refinisher was timely and did a nice job cleaning everything when done (the process leaves a bad odor for a couple of days). Price was much more reasonable, than replacing the floor and it looks great. Will probably not last for many years, but it buys us time before a major remodel.

+ -1 moreTHE WORKMAN SHOWED UP ON TIME AND ANSWERED ALL MY QUESTIONS PATIENTLY. HE CLOSED THE BATHROOM DOOR, MASKED EVERYTHING FROM THE DUST, AND WORKED FOR ABOUT THREE HOURS. THEN HE REMOVED THE DEBRIS AND CLEANED UP BEAUTIFULLY BEFORE HE LEFT. NOT ONLY IS THIS PROCEDURE THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS CHEAPER THAN REMOVING A TUB AND INSTALLING A SHOWER PAN, THIS COMPANY CAME WITHIN DAYS AND THE SHOWER COULD BE USED IN 48 HOURS. THEY EVEN GAVE ME THE NAME OF A LOCAL MAN WHO SPECIALIZES IN INSTALLING GRAB BARS. FINALLY, THEY WERE GREAT ABOUT WORKING WITH ME TO GET A WRITTEN BID AND WARRANTY SIGNED FOR MY HOME IMPROVEMENT LOAN OFFICER. THIS IS A REAL OPTION FOR SENIORS WHO CHOOSE TO REMAIN AT HOME AND I RECOMMEND SURFACE SPECIALISTS METRO.
Description of Work: THEIR 'TUB CUT DOWN' SERVICE IS AN AMAZINGLY SIMPLE IDEA: CONVERT YOUR TUB INTO A WALK-IN. THEIR FRIENDLY TECHNICIAN CAME IN AND CUT DOWN PART OF THE SIDE OF MY CAST-IRON TUB AND THEN REFINISHED THE EDGES, TO QUICKLY CONVERT IT INTO A STEP-IN TUB/SHOWER. I ALSO CHOSE TO HAVE THEM ADD A SLIP-RESISTANT COATING TO THE FLOOR. IT LOOKS LIKE IT'S ALWAYS BEEN THIS WAY.

+ -1 moreMITCH WAS GREAT. HE HAD A CANCELLATION SO HE CALLED TO SEE IF HE COULD COME OUT EARLY. HE ARRIVED ON TIME, WENT RIGHT TO WORK AND FINISHED THE JOB IN ROUGHLY 2 HOURS. THE COLOR MATCH IS EXCELLENT AND OUR SHOWER LOOKS GREAT. I HAVE ALREADY RECOMMENDED THE COMPANY TO OUR FRIENDS.
