eaI went for a prenatal massage and she is always fantastic. Very soothing and peaceful. She always goes out of her way to show you preventative stretches that you can do yourself at home. Her massage room has a very relaxing and clean atmosphere.

I'd never had a massage before, so this was a new experience for me. Susan was very professional with a wonderfully soothing bedside manner. Her office is in the basement of her home, and the space is beautifully decorated and very relaxing. The hour went by very quickly and I felt great afterwards. Would absolutely return for another massage!

I have experienced various massage therapies for my neck and shoulder area but never craniosacral. I was interested in seeing if craniosacral massage would help and when Angie's list offered a coupon deal, I snatched it up. I called for an appointment and Susan Lynx returned my call promptly and we set up an appointment. When I arrived, Susan went over my history and explained craniosacral therapy. I also had a deep tissue/rib bruise from a recent fall and wanted that addressed also. The therapy room was cozy and warm and Susan made me feel comfortable and welcome. Susan worked on my back issue and then completed my appointment with the craniosacral therapy.Her massage techniques are excellent. I left with my back feeling much better and with an overall feeling of well-being. The craniosacral therapy was so relaxing, more so than any other massage therapy I have experienced. I will certainly be returning for additional massages.

Have only had 1 hour and a half massage with Susan, but boy was it great. As I told my wife, I have been rubbed before, but this was a professional massage. Susan knew just where to focus to deal with the headaches I have been enduring. I can't wait until my next massage!

Susan has explained the techniques she is using, gave me choices of massage oils and background music, and periodically made sure I was comfortable with what she was doing. She has been kind, friendly, and professional at the same time. I left feeling much more relaxed and content, with an increased sense of well-being. I have used coupons twice for her services but actually look forward to paying her full price because I feel that she deserves it for her excellent service. I appreciate the fact that she has weekend appointments available, as I am generally unable to schedule during weekdays.

Susan always puts the comfort of the client as her top priority. She creates an inviting space to relax - she even has a fireplace right next to the massage table to take the chill out on the winter days coming soon! Susan blends differnt therapy techniques - including her newest - cranial sacral therapy - for a tailor made experience. Whether you are looking for deep tissue therapy - or pure relaxation, Susan can accomodate.

Susan was awesome, very easy to talk to and willing to adjust her approach based on the feedback I gave her during the massage. When I experienced some pain, she would back off and come at it from a different angle, or in a more gentle way rather than giving up. She was very thorough and responsive, and attentive to my breathing. The massage was so effective I felt a little zonked by the end... but drank a lot of water, took a nap and felt great. I can hardly wait to schedule my next appointment! The massage room is in her basement, and it is very comfortable and clean environment with a bathroom right around the corner. She has pets, so someone with a dog or cat aversion might not be so comfortable, but I felt right at home. Even though I didn't remember that she was offering a coupon through Angie's List, she told me about it when I mentioned how I had found her, so my first massage was half off! Thank you, Susan... I was running late so we could've cut our time short, but instead Susan cut short her time in between sessions. The massage was healing, not deep tissue but what Susan sensed I needed. She gave me several exercises to relieve pain in my neck.

Massage studio is in the basement of her home. Very clean, comfortable setting. Susan asked questions about the information I provided on my intake form. She encouraged me to speak up if she did anything that was not comfortable. I've not been a regular customer of massage therapy in the past. I have liked working with Susan so well, that I've started having regular periodic massages. I really appreciate the time she takes to understand what issues I may be having with my body at each session. She listens! She has a nice balance of Eastern and Western medicine knowledge that I find both interesting and comforting. She also offers advice on stretching or exercises I can do at home to feel better. I think my improvement is due to both her massage, as well as her advice. She does NOT do any hard selling. She doesn't make unreasonable claims about what massage can do. She offers recommendations for other health/medical providers.

Susan started the massage by asking me what I needed. Then geared the massage(and the wonderful music) to meet those needs. She knows many techniques (Swedish, relaxation, Tuina, etc) and tailors them to what's going on with your body at the time. Very highly recommend this knowledgeable masseuse.

I have been seeing Susan on a regular basis for awhile now, she is simply wonderful - the best massage therapist I have experienced! She is incredibly knowledgeable and intuitive. She goes out of her way to meet her client's massage needs to help your body relax and to educate you on how to stretch and strengthen your body!

Susan is wonderful, I have been going on a regular basis and have referred people to her that have gone to see her. She takes the full hour for treatment. She listens to you and really tailors her work to treat the client. It is a great experience. She is affordable and very experienced, 20+years.

Wonderful! Susan spent a lot of time chatting prior to the massage to get to understand my needs, and to inform me about her very wide range of expertise and training. She incorporates her nursing background into the many types of healing therapies she has studied and practiced. Then she gave me a terrific full 1 hour long massage! She's very warm and friendly, as well as a talented masseue.

Susan is terrific. She really seems to understand the body, and is able to customize her treatments to an individual's needs. She was able to find pressure points and ways of moving my limbs that give me lasting relief from my lower back and neck pain. I also require quite a bit of pressure and Susan is able to provide that. She is quite inexpensive compared to some others I've tried, and yet I still feel I get more than I pay for each time. Can't recommend her enough!

Susan is excellent! I have been going to Susan for a few years, and I am always impressed with her attention to my changing needs. Susans range of technique is wonderful. She always makes me feel so very comfortable. I really enjoy the whole experience.

The massage was excellent, however the office environment was lacking. All the equipment was there and it felt and looked just fine. The problem is the smell of cat urine, it was very strong. This is a huge problem for us. We did not ask her about it so we do not know if it is all the time or a recent accident happened. But we figured if it was an accident or something unusual, she would have said something. I would recommend the place if that kind of smell does not bother you or if the problem has been addressed. I do want to stress we don't know if this is the situation all the time since we did not ask her ourselves.

Susan works out of her home and has a very nice private space for treatment. Her prices are very competitive and she can work with you on pressure. She is the first therapist that I have found that acutally relieves my pain for some time. She does traditional swedish/deep tissue, but also mixes in chinese type pressure work. I have been seeing her for about once a month now.

The massage was a birthday gift, and a surprise one at that. It was a very pleasant surprise. Susan uses an intake form to find out relevant information about your needs and concerns. She set me at my ease right away. She has a soothing ambiance, complete with fireplace, and a pillow to make the massage table more comfortable for women to lie on. Susan was very perceptive and intuitive. She encouraged me to tell her when I wanted a different kind of touch, but she generally could tell before I even spoke. She had lots of different approaches if the first method wasn't quite what my body needed. She also volunteered suggestions to help me reduce stress on my body, for example when sitting at a computer and working with a mouse. I felt very comfortable with Susan, and confident in the maturity, intelligence, and kindness of her approach to massage therapy.

Susan provides a wonderful, serene setting for massage. Her treatment area is a very comfortable room, with a bathroom attached. Even though I went on a very cold day, the basement massage room was at a perfect temperature. The massage itself was the most thorough and relaxing I have ever received. I really like the fact that Susan blends both Eastern and Western into her own technique.
