On May 6, 2011, I contacted the owner, John Visard, who came out to meet with me. He noted the issues mentioned above, and said they would be easily fixed. They were working in the neighborhood, and he'd come by to take care of it. That was the last time I heard from him. In spite of calling and emailing Stonewood Landscape since May last year, I have never gotten a single response, not even to say the company was not interested in doing the work. I sent a final email to John on August 18 this year, informing him that I planned to post a review on Angie's List, and asked that he would please respond to my inquiry. No response, not a peep. Very disappointing. Not the way to run a business or treat a client, and so I will look elsewhere. I recommend potential clients do the same.
Description of Work: I posted my original review on September 16, 2006. I was pleased with the patio John's crew had put in, and said so. Last spring, after 5 years, there were some areas that needed attention (some pavers had sunk a bit, the edging has shifted away from the patio in a few places, etc.), so of course, I wanted to go back to the company that had done the original work.

Stonewood was very careful working around my flowerbeds during demolition, and during the installation of the patio. They did a beautiful job of incorporating my paver choice with the contractor's plan. They provided a good solution for a drain-pipe where it meets the patio, and they even brought in additional soil and sod to fill in an area that a previous contractor had erroneously dug up. They were a pleasure to work with!
Description of Work: John Vizard and his staff removed a badly poured concrete patio, and replaced it with pavers.
