Quote was outside our budget.

They had it in and done within a week from when we called them. They were very respectful about being around my home and yard and I would recommend them and use them again.

He was great! I cant say enough good things about him. He was prompt, professional, and reasonably priced.

Steve's team did things by the book with obtaining permits and keeping us in the loop. The team arrived on Monday (Memorial Day) and started work, and worked and worked. They put in about 11 hour days and finished our deck in a week, far exceeding our expectations and the time they quoted us. As well, the cost was what Steve quoted us. The only suprises on this job were good ones! We look forward to working with Steve again on our many, yet-to-be tackled projects.

He was very nice and professional. He came out to do estimate and I have yet to hear back regarding my estimate. This was in December. I assume he didn't want to do the job.

Steve is a nice guy but I got the sense that he has too much going on to be able to get our job done promptly. His prices were way too high. I did take a look at a deck/screened porch project he completed and he does quality work.

Steve was very easy to deal with and very flexible on the amount of finish work we wanted him to do. He was helpful in planning the project. Steve and his crew did excellent work and took care of all details. The job was done efficiently and with excellent workmanship. It's a small company and the same guys were on the job site each day. We highly recommend this company.

I completed detailed design and submitted to 5 contractors. Bids were between $38 and $54k. Steve's references, quality of other jobs and personal contact convinced me that his low-bid would be an outstanding value. The job was done as specified; promptly and with outstanding quality. His crew was professional in all regards: craftsmanship, work ethic, clean-up each day, communication (particularly pointing out alternatives which could be considered before completing work) and courtesy. Finishing work was outstanding. Job completed on time and at the bid price, with Steve overseeing all aspects including permits and building inspections. I consider myself very fortunate to have selected Snedeker Construction. This is my 7th home, and they're the best deck and porch contractor I've ever used. Simply put: Outstanding value!

Steve's team was very dedicated and thorough. They worked in extreme heat for 10 days, and still insisted on removing concrete stairs and digging very deep foundation holes in order to properly build the deck. We had previously considered building the deck ourselves. After seeing all of the preparation, work and skill that went into this, we could never have even come close to the beautiful and professional job that Steve's team did. I now know that the financial investment was well worth the result. Steve was great to work with. He is calm and thorough and promptly returns calls. This was our first major improvement to our home. We count ourselves very lucky to have found the Angie's list reference for Steve, and we will likely choose Steve Snedeker Construction for any future project. We are very happy with the low maintenance, color and texture of the Trex material.

The workmen were very courteous, pleasant, dependable. Steve always returned phone calls promptly & let me know what would be happening. Very professional. Excellent. So glad I found this company through Angie's List. I wouldn't have encountered them normally on my own. This experience reinforced my joining Angie's List. Thank you so much. I contacted Steve in the fall indicating I wanted work done in winter/early spring & they were willing to work with me. They were excellent & I will use them again. Lack of hassles. Even when I changed my mind at the last moment & changed the size of project, it was no hassle. Very cooperative & pleasant. Use them!

STEVE WAS ONTIME, VERY POLITE, EASY TO DEAL WITH, HELPED COVER ALL THE BASES. AS FAR AS OUR QUESTIONS WENT. AN A+ AS FAR AS DEALING WITH CONTRACTORS GOES.

MADE AN APPOINTMENT FOR AN ESTIMATE. WHEN THE DAY CAME, I WAITED AN HOUR PAST THE APPOINTED TIME. WHEN I CALLED MR. SNEDEKER, HE TOLD ME THAT HE HAD FORGOTTEN ALL ABOUT THE APPT. HE CAME OVER 30 MINUTES LATER, I SHOWED HIM THE AREA I WANTED THE DECK BUILT ON AND EXPLAINED WHAT I WANTED. AFTER LOOKING AROUND A BIT, HE FINALLY GAVE ME A QUOTE ABOUT $1500 HIGHER THAN WHAT I HAD HEARD FROM OTHERS, PLUS HE WANTED TO CHARGE ME EXTRA FOR BREAKING UP THE OLD CONCRETE STAIRS AND HAULING THE DEBRIS AWAY. AS I BALKED AT HIS PRICE, HE LOWERED IT ABOUT $5OO. AFTER GETTING A SINKING FEELING FROM HIM, I TOLD HIM I WOULD LET HIM KNOW. WHEN I CALLED HIM BACK AND TOLD HIM I HAD FOUND ANOTHER CONTRACTOR, HE WANTED TO KNOW THE REASON WHY I DIDN'T CHOOSE HIM. I MENTIONED THE PRICE AND HE STARTED TO BARTER, BUT I TOLD HIM THE MAIN REASON WAS HIS LACK OF ATTENTION BY FORGETTING ABOUT OUR APPOINTMENT AND WASTING MY TIME. HE WASN'T VERY HAPPY.

A GOOD GROUP IN EMERGENCY, THEY RESPOND IMMEDIATELY. THE MEN ARE POLITE, GOOD WORKERS AND PROVIDE QUALITY WORK. THEY ALSO DID PERSONAL WORK FOR US AND IT WILL OUTLAST US. HONEST AND RELIABLE.

WE HAD SEVERAL BIDS. STEVE DOES GREAT WORK. INSPECTORS WERE IMPRESSED. GOOD WORK CREW, INFORMED US OF EVERY DETAIL.

STEVE DESIGNED THE NEW PORCH TO ALLOW FOR ADEQUATE DRAINAGE TO PREVENT DRY ROT FROM OCCURRING IN THE FUTURE. STEVE AND HIS CREW WERE PUNCTUAL, ABLE TO CREATE INNOVATIVE SOLUTIONS, DID EXCELLENT WORK, AND PUT THE SATISFACTION OF THEIR CUSTOMERS AS A TOP PRIORITY.

HE HAS PERSONALLY BUILT HOMES ALL BY HIMSELF. HIS CONCERNS FOR CUSTOMER COME BEFORE ANYTHING ELSE.
