Description of Work: They finished installing our dishwasher and hooked up the disposal. They found problems with the appliance store's (Sears) electrical installation and fixed them as well as the original job.

Description of Work: They provide expert advice and service for my new residence. Added fixtures and new electrical lighting outlets where others said it was impossible. They are aware of code and specifications and great communicators as well as creative in their approach to problem solving.

Description of Work: Star Electric Inc fixed some light fixtures in our basement about a couple of weeks ago.

Description of Work: We had our entire electric service updated, new circuit breaker box - found that the old one wasn't grounded! All outlets were replaced and several new ones added.(no more adapters) Mark replaced a ceiling fans & put in 3 new lights. He took our AC off the fuse box, put a plug on our dryer (was hard wired) and added an outlet so we could move the dryer to a new space. He changed 3 chain pull lights to switches and put our garage door opener on it's own circuit. Essentially he brought our house into the 21 century electrically. Price was very fair for all the work he did.

Description of Work: Mark DeGidio was on time with his appointments for a proposed estimate and the project. He indicated all possible delays due to his prior commitments. He installed three ceiling fans located in the master bedroom, our son's bedroom and the family room. The bedrooms had existing older switches and glass light fixtures. The bedroom fans were rewired to accommodate lighting and a fan through one switch. The family room needed holes cut in the ceiling and wall to handle a single switch to control the light and fan. The family room fan was installed without lighting, but wired for it as an option to add at a later date. He called to suggest we install the ceiling fan in the family room at the highest level. If we changed our minds, this would leave enough room for a lighting attachment. Upon completing the project, he called to tell us that he had cleaned up and would leave the old fixtures, spare parts, boxes and bulbs in the family room and hallway unless we wanted him to dispose of these items. We told him to leave it. We wanted to decide what to keep, discard and recycle. He put the items in the less used section of the hallway to avoid disrupting regular traffic. The glass fixtures and bulbs (breakables) were left in front of the television.

Description of Work: Moved into an existing home and the electrical had been worked on by the home owner. Had Jerry and Mark (father/son) come out and do some rewiring and change the electrical box to include all electric in one box with all circuit breakers. Work was completed in December of 2006.
