They responded to my Angies list queries about the deal within minutes. I purchased the deal and they called me within 24 hours to schedule the work. Dave arrived a little early and got to work. he did most of the install but they had to schedule an additional appointment to finish the vent because they needed a taller ladder. Dave arrived during the first snow of the year and finished the job in about an hour. He did a great job on the vent and cleaned up so you couldn't even tell that work was done. We will probably have them do some other work in the future.

install of fan went well. heater and fan are very quiet! had some condensation falling out of the fan grill within a couple of months. Stafford quickly sent a service person out to remedy the problem. Overall, job well done and appreciated their responsiveness.

They had a pretty significant lead time, but so did all the others I had contacted. this was very quick once the electrician was onsite.

Dan and his staff were great. Got bids from 2 other companies and they were cheapest. Good customer service.

They are very good. It's not cheap. The quote provided was useful. They are relatively good. They've done a good job. I've had no problem with them. I've had them do some other work in the past.

Stafford came out to assess the work, discuss options for the breaker box, and the best location for the new meter. I appreciated that they took the time for a professional to come onsite and then came back with an itemized estimate vs others that provided an overall number without much backing. The actual work went as planned and we’re pleased with the result.

Eric and Jake did an excellent job taking down the old fan and preparing and installing the new one. The new fan has a remote control that required some special wiring and reconfiguration. They stayed on task and assured me that they would sort out the issues to get the remote to sync with the wall control. I now have a new fan that looks great and works beautifully. I am extremely happy with the work.

Steve K. and Jake came early in the appointment window, which was great. As soon as I gave them my request, they went right to work. Since the new fixture I provided was determined not to work because of code ( my mistake, I should have known), they were able to use one Steve happened to have in his van, but still using our light trim and LED bulb. They were able to fish a wire from 5' away at another can light, so did not have to crawl in our cramped attic except to verify location. Done and cleaned up in less than 1 1/2 hours. Jason ( Operations manager) had quoted me earlier an approximate cost of project based on my explanation and photos, so was not totally surprised by the final cost. Though the price came in at the high end of the estimate, I am still satisfied as Steve and Jake were very personable and able to complete the work in a timely manner. Overall, would definitely use again.

I got quite a few things done on my house. Pricing was perfect. One of the guys drilled a hole through my floor and a hole in each bathroom wall because they hit a stun but Jason is quick in reaching out to me to fix the mistake after the work was done. We also had a few GFI/AC reset issue after the work was finish but Jason made sure his guys came back and fixed it. Despite the accidents and mistakes made, I would still recommend Stafford Home Services to anyone who is looking to get electrically work done. I would definitely consider using them again in the future.

I was able to talk to Stafford Home Service on the phone while he looked at our inspection report and he was able to orally give me some idea of what it might cost to fix a lot of these issues and how serious they might be. This consultation was enormously helpful as it enabled us to give the sellers a rough estimate of the cost we would need to spend to address the electrical issues. Once we bought the house, Stafford Home Service came through and looked at the issues the inspectors had found and told us which ones were serious issues and which ones were not. They also made clear that almost all of the issues were not particularly hazardous. After we decided what to do, two electricians from Stafford Home Service spent three days at our house addressing about 20-30 small items, plus installing two bathroom vent fans (replacing fans that did not work at all) ($800 each), installing an overhead ceiling fan in the master bedroom which had no overhead lighting ($500), and installing six five-inch recess lights in the living room ($1200) which had no overhead lighting. The total cost was $4,700. This is a lot of money but since we bought an old house with a lot of deferred maintenance, we knew there would some expenses like this and the sellers reduced their price after the inspection to account for this. It feels good to be in our new house with great lighting in our bathrooms, master bedroom, and living room and to feel that the electricity is safe and functional. We did have to patch the ceiling around the two bath fans and just a little spackle / joint compound around the lights installed in the living room, which they had told us about beforehand. Installing the ceiling light in the master bedroom and installing the two ceiling fans were dirty jobs that involved working in the attic with insulation falling down on them and running wire through difficult plaster walls. Some of the smaller electrical receptacle outlet issues could probably be done with a less experienced electrician or a handyman or myself watching YouTube but I would not have wanted to do the bigger jobs. There is peace of mind knowing multiple qualified people (the inspectors from our house inspection, the estimate done by the head electrician from Stafford, plus the two electricians who did the work) have looked at your electrical issues and considered whether anything is dangerous and what easy to fix and important to fix. We peppered the electricians with questions and they were unfailingly polite, thoughtful, helpful, and knowledgeable.

I highly recommend Stafford Home Service. Kris did an excellent job quoting the job. I asked for an electric vehicle charging station installation quote and he suggested adding a few standard outlets and light fixtures which my 1950's garage lacked. That was an excellent idea. Stafford's quote was clear and detailed. Kris immediately followed up when I had a question or two. Peggy, their scheduler, got back to me right away when I had a question. Chuck came out to do the work on the scheduled day. He listened to my specific requirements and did the work exactly as I wanted. He does excellent work and knows what he's doing. I was very impressed and satisfied.

The work was done well and on time. Scheduling was easy, as the receptionist was courteous and responsive both times I dealt with her.

After years of wrestling with window air conditioners for a 1920's Arts and Crafts home, we finally decided to look for a quieter and more efficient AC solution. We gathered ideas and bids from three HVAC providers, and Stafford offered the best combination of price and experience working in vintage homes. The four-man crew installed a 2.5 ton mini-split inverter to the side of the house, an air handler in the attic, supply lines via ceiling mounted ducts into three bedrooms and over the upstairs landing, and a large capacity floor-mount AC and heat unit on the first floor. The work was very neat and was completed within two days. After one month, we love this system. It is very quiet and cools very well. We're also looking forward to fall, when we can try the heating feature in lieu of cranking up the boiler before winter really sets in.

Dustin was great and addressed the concerns about it not cooling and completed the 20 point tune up.

I asked them for AC check since it has been many years. Dusty was responsive to questions, methodical, and professional. Easy to work with. He found a capacitor that was out of spec. He showed me test result. Small charge to replace that. Overall, not bad for a 25 year old AC unit. He did not give me any "hard sell" on replacing it, although he did point out that it was exceeding expected life span (probably because we use it judiciously). I appreciated that.

I have had good service, very good service. They were on time and seemed to know what they were doing.

it has gone excellent..everytime i have called to have something done, stafford has been polite. I even have my furnace checked by them. I am also on the verge of having them come out again for some other projects. You can tell something about a business when they come out to your home and walk around with you and ask you what you want done..every other company just quotes a price over the phone. Regardless if their price is more, i will always use Stafford home service as long as they are in business
