Description of Work: Our AC wasn't working and we called Home Service Plus. They were unable to fix the problem and said we should call a electrician. We used Angie's List and selected Stafford Home Service. They came out the next day and found a broken wire in the disconnect. The tech was very professional and diagnosed the problem and made the repair. He was also able to add a GFCI receptacle. All the work was completed at what I believed to be a reason price.

Description of Work: Stafford installed a large Spacepak system in our older St. Paul home. This was a challenging installation with about 40 air conditioning outlets spread over 4 floors. Everything about the job was performed to the highest standards. They were punctual and took the time to explain to me everything they were doing. I've dealt with many HVAC installations in other houses and this was, by far, the best experience I've had. I have recommended Stafford to others who have had the same experience. | |Note: I found Stafford by calling the Spacepac manufacturer's rep and asking them for their largest distributor in the Twin Cities. I called the distributor and and asked who they sold to that had experience with older homes, one was of the top 2 or 3 buyers, and paid their bills on time. I was looking for a firm with experience, volume, and fiscal soundness. I got three bids and Stafford was the lowest. | |Bottom line: a great experience, an excellent installation, and the lowest bid.

Description of Work: Stafford did a tremendous effort amount if work for us. Some of the work they did was: they installed 17 recessed lights, hung two chandeliers, replaced a fan, moved/added outlets and cable lines, rewired some of the old wiring, installed new wiring and hung our television and new found bar over the fireplace. In addition, they installed new under cabinet lighting in the kitchen as well as hung a new light fixture over the sink. They were very professional and pleasant to have working in our home. I would hire them again.

Description of Work: We had a 220 line installed in the garage. Stafford installed a new panel, wired existing electrical service to panel and put in a new 100 amp service outlet and a 30 amp outlet in the garage. The men were diligent, unobtrusive and made a few positive improvements to the garage outlets as part of the upgrade, on their own! The cleaned up after themselves and all in all, the process was painless!
