We have nothing but good things to say abotu them! Their prices are fair.

He did great, it was fine and we had no problems. I would use him again in the future if needed.

They did everything they said they would and we didn't have any problems with them. We were satisfied. I would probably use them again but check to see if there was anyone cheaper first.

They were prompt in responding to my inquiry for a quotation. They were professional and also prompt in doing the service. The price was pretty good. We had some issues later on downstream, but they eventually took care of them.

We have worked with them many times in the past when we had rental property. Our landlords used them to make some corrections.

We were very pleased with the service. Steve, the electrican, was on time, very professional and did an excellent job for us.

Phone service in advance of the call made it possible for the electrician, Steve, to come in with what he needed to make quick work of things. I appreciated that work up front. I originally called just to get the light/dimmer switch fixed and was told that since that probably wouldn't take very long we might think of what else we could have the technician look at during the hour that we were going to pay for regardless. So we asked Steve to look at a non-functioning light socket, which he also fixed very easily. Nice work, nice people and a pleasant experience over all.

Overall it went very well. Kris came by to inspect the proposed project and developed two different proposals for the replacement of the knob and tube wiring. They were flexible with scheduling and able to work around other MAC upgrades that were ongoing at the time. They worked quickly and efficiently and other than leaving a bit of a mess in the attic when they were done, we were very pleased

This was a terrific experience. Tammy who answers the phones and sets appointments was friendly and knowledgeable. She helped me set up an appointment with Jesse, the estimator. Jesse arrived on time. He knew his stuff. He was patient with the many questions. We had a rather long wish list that included some things we decided to delay until later (an outlet in the floor of the living room, an additional outlet in the study, and an outlet in a built-in counter in the guest bath). He was able to answer all my questions and was a good listener and problem-solver. We wanted to install stainless-cased under-the-counter fixtures, which Stafford did not carry. I did research online with a vendor. Jesse was prompt and helpful in answering questions I had about the fixtures I was ordering from the other vendor. (I wanted to make sure I was getting the right items.) A few weeks later, Dave, the electrician, arrived on time at 7 am. He finished the work in three and a half hours (under the five hours estimated). There was a communication error with the switch for the under-counter lights (a dimmer was requested; he didn't have one with him. He ordered the dimmer and came back a few days later to install it). Our home has soft wood floors. Dave was extremely careful with ladders and other equipment, putting down tarps. He cleaned up dust, etc. from the drilling he had to do. Because a second, original dimmer failed after Dave left, I had to call Tammy and order another one. They were quick to get the part and have Dave come out and replace this one as well. Each interaction with Stafford employees was professional and courteous.

Our furnace went out so we needed to get a new one, fast. We had several companies bid on our project and honestly, Stafford wasn't the lowest. But we really liked the guy because he wasn't a salesman, he was the same guy that would be doing the installation. We were able to negotiate a bit and we got a much better product for a very fair price. They removed our old furnace, installed the new one and re-routed a bad pump system put in by the previous owner. A total of four people completed our project and were extremely professional throughout the process. We felt comfortable enough to be at work while the crew was at our house completing the job. I would recommend Stafford to anyone in our situation!

installation was prompt and effiecient the first pair of installed lights did not function properly the second pair of installed lights (same model) did not function properly the third pair of installed lights (different model) do function properly company was very responsive to the problem and corrected it in a timely manner at no additional charge I have used this company before and would use them again - no need for me to call any one else

I'd formerly used Stafford Home Services when they were Paul Stafford. Excellent service all around. Based on that experience and knowing that the company was going through a transition with Paul leaving, I decided to use Stafford Home Services eventhough I could tell things were disorganized on their end from our first meeting. Dan, who came out and did the estimated, seemed disorganized and distracted. He was slow in getting a bid to me (He estimated a week but it was closer to two) and I had to call and ask where it was. (We were also getting a bid from them to do a major overhaul off our basement ductwork and replace the 22 year old furnace and AC unit.) We were fine with the bid eventhough it was higher than we expected but, again, having been happy with their service before we were willing to pay more for a job well done. So, we scheduled the work for the bath fan but decided not to more forward with the furnace and ductwork since it was November and the holidays were fast approaching and there was no way we wanted to undertake that big of a project with everything else going on. Bath Fan Installation: I'll explain this first because the other "stories" are just plan annoying and still make my head spin. I would like to say that the gentlemen that came to install the bath fan were punctual, neat, and expert. Their work was above average. I wish them all the best. Administration: It was the office and "administrative" side where all my problems lied. To start with miscommunications between Dan & Tami (I believe that was her name.), the scheduler/all around admin person. There was more than once where Dan & I had emailed each other regarding this-and-that and then Tami called and wanted to know when were scheduling the work on the basement. I had to inform her that I already "spoke" to Dan and made him aware that we weren't planning on it until after the holidays. She also called to ask when I was scheduling work on the fan and I already had it scheduled... She scheduled it! At first too, none of this was that annoying, So what, miscommunications happen and people forget things. Then...after the job was complete I called the office that same day and paid our bill with a Credit Card (as instructed by Dan) with their accountant. Tami calls several hours later asking how we wished to pay our bill. I had to explain to her that I'd already paid it. Now, I'm annoyed. Deep breathe. Tami calls a few days later to schedule the inspection (electrical and mechanical). I explain to her that I work in St. Paul (live in Golden Valley) and that if I could have both inspectors come at the same time and in the morning that would be great. She calls the following week on Monday morning at ~8:30 to inform me (on my voicemail) that the electrical inspector would be there between 10:30 and 2 - the same day. I call her back and ask her what we discussed last week. She didn't remember. She didn't understand that I had to work and that I wouldn't be able to just stay at home and meet the inspector. Not once did she inform me that I could leave a key for the inspector and that I wouldn't have to be there. I found that out the next day after I called the electrical inspector myself. Anyways, the inspections got completely and everything was fine. Then, I had forgotten that Dan never gave me the warranty info on the fan. I emailed him three times and I've never heard from him. Needless to say they will not be doing anymore work for us. I'm sure they will say that they never want to do work for us since I did not speak kindly towards Tami at the end. She does not represent the company well and I have never had to deal with someone as incompetent as she was. But, again, it wasn't just her. Dan was not passing on information to her which she needed to do her job. In the end, his failure to address my warranty concerns just shows his lack of professionalism.

Over all the experience has been so positive I recommended Stafford to a colleague (who is also happy with the furnace and electrical work done). Dan is very professional. The crew was prompt, professional -- turned down the radio when I asked because I was working at home. There was one problem with the venting system installed causing a rare kind of problem. The installer came out and then the owners of the company to check/fix. Still waiting for the solution, but it has only been one working day since the owners came -- and they will be back tomorrow. Very prompt. I trust these guys and would hire them again in an instant. I got five bids (big project) -- their bid was the highest, but also the most detailed. I would use them again in a heart beat (but, hopefully am set for heating and cooling for many years to come).

This is the second time we use Stafford. We did not even go get a second estimate from others to compare. Kris came out and did an estimate of the job and then we were in contact with Tammy on scheduling. everything went smoothly. Steve did the job. he is very careful and thorough. He asked questions to confirm we are fine with his layout before making the holes in the ceiling. The layout was not as perfect as we originally thought but that's due to where the vents were laid out in the ceiling. We opted for the energy saving CFL lights and the trims Steve originally put in were a little small and all the bulbs stuck out. We raised concerns with Kris and he promptly ordered some new trims that he said might work well with cfl bulbs. And they did work. When we ask him if he could change the recessed light trims they did a year ago to this kind of new trims, Kris agreed without hesitation. Overall, we are very happy with everyone we interacted with at Stafford and will use them in the future if something comes up.

They came out and gave me a quote for it. They quoted me for few things but at that time my high priority was to move the cable outlet. They showed up a week later to install it. The representative didn?t ask any questions or anything but I showed him what needed to be done. He went a head and worked for about 4 hours on it. Everything was done very well. The only negative about the experience was that they went through some drywall and they didn?t patch it up. The painters patched that up for me. I did not do much of a price shopping. I will probably go back to them for future electrical works but keeping in the mind that they take care of the drywall for me.

They were prompt. My husband was home that day and the guy went over everything. He knew the furnace inside and out. They were very knowledgeable. He fixed a couple of parts that he saw that were worn and he didn't overcharge us. The first time they came it wasn't cold enough to get the condenser to come back on, they called us and reminded us of that and came back and checked it. They were punctual and I would use them again.

It went very well. He has a reasonable price and is very competent.

Called Stafford on a Monday and they were able to schedule us for the following Monday. Tech went right to work and finished in 1.5 hours after arrival. With no traveling charges and a 10% discount for Angie's list customers, it was money well spent.

They did a good job. They did an additional fix that I did not ask for and they charged me but at a reduced cost. The quality was good.

They were great. I would rate them highly and would use them again in the future.

They were very responsive and sent an email estimate with 3 different plans that we could compare. They had the lowest price compared to all the other companies that came out. They were really clean and on the ball.
