the patio was perfect. they even created some nice curves that made it look "prettier". they had to work with a horribly sloping yard that was pooling water by the deck sliding glass door. they took care of the problem and the new patio now slopes away from the house. they also worked with a sloped area from deck to patio for the stone path. the suggested stones are perfect with the color of our deck. the first attempt at the stone installation was a fail. the stones were popping up and the "sand" between them was washing away. adam came out personally and looked at it and said "yeah, we messed up, I pushed them too fast and I will fix it asap". it was fixed immediately and works well and is beautiful! I only gave a B because I had to have some redone. Otherwise I would have given an A.

Nice job, extremely pleased. Would have Southside do more work when needed. One bit of work was flawed, and they came right back without any notification from me to correct the condition. Very personable, prompt and accurate.

Southside Concrete Contractors LLC went well, they got it done within time and budget. They will come out and give you an estimate and it's well within the range of their competitors. They did everything according to their contract. They cleaned up after themselves nicely. They were here every morning until they were done. They were very professional. I would definitely use them again.

After explaining what I was trying to accomplish, Adam gave me a well thought out stamped and colored concrete solution and explanation as to why his approach would make the most sense in my yard, he clearly knows exactly what he's doing. We agreed on a price and a start date, and he and his crew were prompt, worked very hard for 2 1/2 straight days to get things done in a timely matter, then cleaned up the area they worked in. His crew was very pleasant and professional, and they were all very flexible when my wife and I had a few last minute changes to our plan. We couldn't be happier with not only the end product (a beautiful stamped/colored concrete patio tied together with an existing one), but also with the process. These guys are pros, and they do what they say they are going to do. If I ever need concrete again, they will be the only team I call.

Southside gave a very competitive bid to perform the work, and fit us in the schedule exactly as they indicated they would. Showed up and finished on time, no extra charges. All of the work has held up beautifully, and this work was done over a year ago. Pleasant to work with and a good value.

Doug came over immediately after our call to discuss the project. He offered us options to suit our budget while assuring the design and materials were professional and quot;best practices.and quot; Once a start date was set they arrived right on time and didn't waste a minute removing the old concrete block and sidewalk They pulled my metal railings first thing so could sand and paint to get them ready to re-install in two days. Adam and all of the crew were friendly and responsive to our questions and requests.

We had a great experience with Southside Concrete. My husband worked with Doug by phone and in person during our bidding process, and he was definitely responsive, even taking the time to answer my husband's questions while he was on vacation. The whole crew was respectful and hardworking, even kept some humor when the existing concrete proved to be a challenge. $9000 is a large amount, but Southside had the best bid and after watching them do the work, we believe it was worth every penny! We would HIGHLY recommend Southside Concrete to anyone who needs concrete work. They are reasonable, punctual, professional, and extremely hard working. This is a great company!!

Adam was prompt and professional when he arrived to do my bid. Also was very knowledgeble and made a couple of important suggestions that ended up making a big difference in the job (I thought I knew what I wanted, but he had a couple better ideas). He and his crew showed up on time the day they said they would, worked hard to get the foundations built and concrete poured all in the time frame promised. My wife and I are thrilled with the work they did and I just left Adam a mesage about another job we'd like him to handle for us.

Southside Concrete did an excellent job replacing old, sunken sidewalks, crumbling front steps and deteriorating driveway at my home. Someone was sent out the day after I requested an estimate. They were very thorough in presenting options and explaining how the work would be done. Per my request they added decorative tiers to the sides of the new steps and did a good job refiguring the number of steps to my front door. They also agreed to remove a large quantity of landscape rock as part of the job which I greatly appreciated. The results are great. The new walks, steps and driveway are very attractive and of good quality. I appreciate the prompt, thorough service and responsiveness. I highly recommend Southside Concrete.

It went great. The walk looks good and was completed timely.

They had done work up the street, which I noticed and liked. I had gotten a couple of estimates roughly around the same price. It was quite expensive, so I haven't had the work done. I liked the guy very much. I was very satisfied with how he responded to me. I thought he was very professional.

Doug was on time for the quote. He gave lots of advice on potential solutions. His team came and completed the work on the day that they were scheduled. Our only complaint is the amount of debris that were left after his group left and the amount of time it took for them to come back to clean the mud/dirt off of the driveway. It seems that there must have been alot of metal and other debris in the area where SS Concrete dug our pit. They took the debris and set them to the side, I would have appreciated it if they would have taken them away when they left. It took them 2 days after they completed the work to come by and clean the mud from our driveway. The amount of time it took for it to be cleaned was made a bit worse by the rain that occured the evening after they completed their work. It made it a muddy mess. Overall I think they did a good job. They were willing to dig up some old concrete anchors from our deck and didn't charge us extra for it.

They were very quick. The crew was very nice. They cleaned up before they left and they called later to make sure everything was still good after the fact. They had a lower quote compared to the others. I have already planned to hire them again next summer to put in new front steps for me.

Very professional. They had good ideas for our project and were precise in the details. They always returned calls and had very good communication with me during the work.

It has been excellent! We have used them for my driveway and helped my parents with their sidewalk. They do the right thing. It has got a warranty. You can trust it will last. The owner of the company comes out to do the bid and is honest with the best suggestions and options for own specific case. They were really flexible with the design I wanted and did it right. They are experts at quality concrete instead of concrete that will crack in a year or so. These guys know how to do it right.
