Description of Work: It took a long time to get the gutter cleaning service scheduled-over a month. And I had to do all the prompting to get it scheduled. They were more interested in doing a whole roof replacement job than in performing the services the coupon was for. They didn't seem to care whether the gutter cleaning was ever performed, and it never was before I finally asked for a refund. They didn't show up on the day the cleaning was scheduled and no calls.

Description of Work: The agent we talked to at snap construction was very helpful and friendly and in the future we would like to do business with them. We just realized that the end result would be more expensive then we had first anticipated.

Description of Work: Snap Construction could have done the solar attic install, but discovered that the soffit intake vents were not adequate and would not draw enough air in to vent out and this wouldn't work as it should if installed. The rep did give me an estimate of how this could be fixed, but I am a senior citizen on a fixed income and an additional expense of $2,200 is not feasible at this time; therefore, I am requesting a refund.

Description of Work: We called to schedule an appointment. Their field person did not call us for over 2 weeks and we had to call them. Field person came to our home to get us a bid..told us we would have next day...did not recieve till over a week and only after we called. Very disappointed.

Description of Work: The only reason this wasn't an "F" experience is that the company tried to correct the mistakes. I scheduled to have the handyman to our home on a Monday morning. He arrived a few minutes late and then we walked through the home to idenitfy the items he would work on in the day purchased. These included installing new countertops, a door frame, and work on a bathroom floor. He ended up having to leave early for personal reasons but assured me he'd be back the next day to finish. He only could make it later in the day on Tuesday and had to leave again and would be back. Then got sick and missed a few more days. He ended up finally finishing over the weekend. When I went back to the home that Sunday to review the work I was extremely disappointed. He installed the door frame incorrectly and did a poor job installing the countertops, and almost ruined them. The ends were so poorly done that you could see areas where he had filed through the finish and the endcaps weren't installed correctly and actually broke when I brushed by them. The floor in the bathroom also was installed poorly and was not completed. I also came to find that the toilet he removed and replaced had been broken. He had also said he'd clean up after himself before leaving, which he did not and was something I had to do when I got to the home. I contacted Randy Penrod at SNAP to inform him of all the issues. He put me in contact with another contractor who came out the next day. We reviewed all the work that had been done and I had gone and actually re-purchased a number of items to have on hand should he need to completely redo the work. He did his best to correct the issues, including the door frame and bathroom floor. He also cleaned up the counter top edges/endcaps but wasn't able to fix the fact that the prior person used a file on the edges which really ruined the finish of the brand new counters. The new contractor took pictures of the poorly done work and those were shared with Randy at SNAP. He agreed that the work was done poorly and kindly offered to have you reach out to him directly with any questions or clarifying items on their front. His direct number is 952-224-0382. Overall the experience was extremely disappointing. I bought this deal as I wanted a professional job done on these items, to help facilitate our sale of the home. What I got was a job that spaned over 7 days (versus the 1 it was supposed to) that left me with a broken toilet and countertops that look like a complete amateur did them (which was precisely what I was trying to avoid). I also ended up having to re-buy a number of items that were needed to fix the items that were fixable and spent a great deal of my own time getting this all over with. I feel given all of this at the very least I deserve a refund and franly don't feel like that even comes close to rectifying the situation. Thank you for your assistance in facilitating this refund.

Description of Work: Snap Construction came and gave me an estimate for window replacement. They brought samples and explained everything very clearly and professionally.

Description of Work: The provider came to our home with a satellite picture of our roof which provided some software-generated measurements. The square footage in the deal was for 1500 square feet - their 'measurement' came in at over 3500 square feet. We estimated our roof square footage to be about 2000 so we were shocked at the estimate. I would have felt more comfortable with the estimate if someone had gotten on my roof with a tape measure and had taken a true measurement. After the estimate came in over $12,000 WITH the Big Deal, we decided we should probably get more estimates before committing to anyone.

Description of Work: Field rep came felt there is no need for additional blow in insulation for attic as it'll not be cost effective. Weeks later a bid came for blow in attic insulation close to $7,000. Meanwhile we went to Home Depot to buy the attic hatch insulation kit -cost less than $30 and did it ourselves. Please let us know how long for refund check to arrive.

Description of Work: I used the Angie's List deal to have the leaves removed from my roof and gutters. I was initially told they would come on a tuesday,then I had a call that they were coming earlier..but they didn't. Eventually they came on a saturday and I was not home. They did a good job removing the leaves but they dumped them into my shrubs. In fact they dumped a large pile next to my yard waste container. I managed to get the leaves off the driveway into the waste container but I could not get all the leaves out of the shrubs. If the had left them on the concrete drive they would have been much easier to handle. A little more thought would have gone a long way.
