The appointment was quick. Dan Lahr, the construction contractor that came to my house, was professional, friendly, and on time. He reattached the siding that was falling off the house and did a visual inspection of the rest of the exterior of the house. He didn't note any other areas that needed immediate repair, although he did re-center some other panels of siding that were pushed too far to one side. The appointment only lasted about 10-15 minutes. However, even though it was brief, the $111 price tag was still worth it since having someone out to repair siding likely would have cost more than that by itself. I was happy with the job that Dan and Snap Construction did.

Ron and the SNAP Construction team were exceptional. They provided me and my husband an estimated timeline for installation and completion. Not only did they provide exceptional and high quality work but they also completed the work ahead of schedule. Ron is a stanch professional. By the end of the project, my husband and I felt as though we had known him for years. I wholeheartedly recommend SNAP Construction. You will not find a more professional and trustworthy contract.

They didn't show up the first time they were supposed to and we had to reschedule. The company didn't call to say they would not be showing up the day of the first appointment. I had to call them. I was not home when they came to do the work so I did not see how the caulk was applied or what kind of clean up was done before applying the caulk. In the end they did what they said they would do but it is hard to tell the windows have new caulk on them. They left a decent size mess for me to clean up on my deck. Overall it was an OK experience because I got out of doing the work myself, however the next time I need to do some work like that I would likely either do it myself or have another company do the work.

Timely response to request for bid on gutter cleaning and schedule of work. Options given on gutter changes due to wear and tear of old ones and improvements. It was agreed to do the work while we were away from house and when it was completed you couldn't tell they were ever here - cleanup and haul away was perfect. It has rained often since the work was done and all rainwater flow is as expected.

That was fine! They just did what they said they were going to do, and it cost what they said it was going to cost.

The service I received for the big deal was performed and was excellent. I had a great experience with the company.

It turned out great. They did a great job. They were in and out. It was a quick installation. I did the Angie's List deal so it was really affordable.

For the last 8 or 10 years, I knew I had gutter problems. When I re-roofed the house in the early 90's, that roofer did not put the gutters back properly and I have been trying various inexpensive remedies with different handy men since. All with short term success. Finally, after the staggering amount of snow last winter and the extreme rainfall this spring, I finally knew it was time to take the plunge and fix or replace gutters. Dan, from SNAP CONSTRUCTION came out, checked and cleaned the gutters and then we discussed various approaches to fixing the problems. I told him I had a tight budget and and to my surprise, he said my west facing gutters were fine. For my problematic, south facing second story sunporch, he recommended a second downspout as a cost saving measure to help until I could do a proper gutter replacement. On the east side I needed a new gutter and gutter cover. (This was no surprise as the gutter had separated from the side of the roof, invited in a squirrel family, and I had taped the corner where it was falling apart.) I was pleased that the estimate was within $78.00 of my 1,000 dollar budget and gave the go ahead. SNAP uses an independent gutter installer, Eric--he is GOOD! His attention to the smallest details is impressive. Within 2 weeks of the cost estimate from SNAP, a date was set and Eric arrived on time and immediately got to work. He did an excellent job with the downspouts and the gutter heating cable, even trimming back to the correct length a couple of shingles that the roofer had left too long (and have created huge icicles every winter, since). When he went to tackle the broken gutter, he found he needed to add a new, flat piece of fascia that would anchor the new gutter flush against the fascia and close up and repair a rather large squirrel hole. Since he didn't have a board with him( and he wanted to have it painted my trim color before he nailed it up) he set a date to come back about a week later. The installation was excellent and he even painted the patched squirrel hole with his matching trim paint. Since I needed to stay on my budget, the unexpected extra work on the east gutter was fit in by Dan and I deciding to not install gutter covers on the south sunporch. I know this story rambles but it shows just how flexible SNAP CONSTRUCTION is to work with their customers. I will definitely call them when I'm ready for the next house improvement.

Installation of the roof was great. Jeff Walker was very professional and easy to work with. Because this was a large project, he did not try to nickel and dime us for every little thing, such as some additional roof vents we had added. The roof was done in a day. The crew arrived promptly, did great work, cleaned up after themselves and gave us a beautiful finished product.

The siding project did not go as well as the roof. The crew installed the wrong type of siding on some of our gables, despite being told multiple times by two supervisors what to install. They broke some trellises and reinstalled our front railing in a very sloppy manner at the end of the job. The worksite was not left clean each night. That said Jeff Walker was great to work with and repeatedly went out of his way to make things right. The great customer service made up for the crew's errors, and in the end, the final project looks great.

Felt it started fine but we fell through their cracks, job must have been too small. was to replace windows, their installer said bid price was higher since I had plaster walls. But we have sheetrock walls I told him and they would get back to us but did not.

Due to bad weather, it took a while to get deck project finished, but it looks great and I love it. Replaced window as soon as correct replacement was located which, I am sure took some effort. Baseboard crew were very punctual and did an incredibly excellent job. Everyone was professional, courteous and good about cleaning up after finished. Very accommodating to my work schedule and the fact that I live in East Bethel---far out for everyone. Will definitely use them again for any of my house needs.

I called SNAP because of a deal they offered on Angie's List for 1,500 sq. ft. of vinyl siding for $4,999. By my measurements my single story bungalow and single car garage was exactly 1,500 Sq. Ft. Ron, the company representative, came to my home with one of their job foreman to inspect the house & garage and measure everything for the proposal. Both of them listened to what I had to say and often had suggestions of what other options I had of reaching my goal of a maintenance free exterior. They had samples of siding and colors to choose from with them. Together we came up with a plan and I was satisfied with their proposal. The job started on time and the workmen were very skilled and knowledgeable of their trade. One workman concentrated on the removal of the old bathroom window and the installation of the new one (alone with the construction needed to close up the exterior and interior wall below the new window). Another two worked on the installation of the soffit and vinyl siding; and, a fourth concentrated specifically on the aluminum trim. They worked together like a well oiled machine. Besides a couple days of bad weather, they completed the job without any delays and the results are spectacular. I'm very satisfied with their work and highly recommend them.

The actual painting job was fine. I would never again take one of the deals. I had no comparison with other providers and I did not get an estimate of what the final cost would be. I think the cost was high for the job done but again I had no comparison with other companies. I think a much better way to go is to talk with at least 3 providers and then pick the one you think would do the best job.

purchased the "Big Deal" of $89 for three hours of window restoration/caulking etc work. I am not sure if I was unclear about what I expected but he basically caulked two sets of windows in about an hour and a half. He waited for me to come home to sign a contract for future work then left. So, I have plenty of windows left that could use resealing - that some could have been done in that hour and a half I was still owed. Perhaps I was unclear as the windows he had done I told him were the most important but I think he could have sealed a few more windows since the deal was for 3 hours. For the $89 though I am not too upset and actually have them coming to do a roof repair.

I came home from work to find a large portion of our shingles fell off the roof and were laying on the ground. I was panicked because I knew rain was coming. I looked through Angies list and called SNAP late in the evening. By the next morning they had come out and put a tarp up on my roof for Free with No obligation. "It's what we do" was the response I got. They were professional, courteous and very knowledgeable. The service I received was outstanding. Matt came out and looked at our roof and confirmed hail and wind damage. He walked me through the insurance process and offered to meet with my adjuster to review the damage together. We elected to have SNAP re-roof our home. They were always on time and kept me well informed of activity. The roofers were amazingly quick and careful around our home. They really picked up after they were done. I came home to a brand new roof that looks beautiful. During the roofing process, they noticed hail damage on some of the siding. SNAP pointed this out and recommended that I have the insurance adjustor come back out to review the damage. Ultimately, I found I was able to have the siding replaced as well under the same insurance claim (and more importantly to me under the same deductible). I have now contracted with SNAP to perform the residing of the house as well. I highly recommend SNAP to anyone needing new roofing or siding.

I had wanted them to replace weather strips on some of my big picture windows but was told that was not something they do. They were very responsive and professional but were limited to the type of windows they will work on.

The service was fine. They were responsive.

Went well, provider missed the initial appointment we had set up to look over the house but he apologized for the error and was on time in other dealings. It happens. Noted that the leaking I was seeing was probably not due to lack of caulk, but due to the terrible patch job on the window directly above the one that was leaking. Didn't have nails to hammer a piece of window trim back in place, and that was disappointing, considering the deal was for 3 hours of "window re-caulking and restoration," but did a good job otherwise.

The service person arrived as scheduled but could not do the work because he did not bring a ladder. I did inform SNAP instruction that we owned a 2 level home. I was a little disappointed because we had to reschedule. I prefer to have work done on my home when I am present. The service person returned and the work eventually was done very well.

He was late. He charged me for product I don't need.

Snap Construction turned out fine. They were very efficient. They did a nice job. I didn't spend more from the bid deal purchase. They were a very friendly crew.

Our sales guy Ron was excellent in explaining to us the warranties and insurance that SNAP has. He also did a great job of explaining what the project would entail and how long it would take. He also allowed flexibility with the payment. Antonio, the siding installer, worked extremely hard and was very professional on the job site. We were very impressed with him. I would hire SNAP Construction again and would recommend them to family and friends.

Working with SNAP was a pleasant experience. I initially contacted them after winning an online auction for a re-roof of my home. The sales rep (Dallas) came to measure up the house and give me color and shingle options. The work went quickly and the crew arrived on time the day of the job. The tear off was very fast despite the steep pitch of my roof. I had to leave during the work but when I arrived home that evening the work was done and the crew had left pictures for the inspector to look at since he could not make it during the day. Everything was cleaned up to my satisfaction. My only issues were that my DISH network dish was not pointed properly so DISH had to come and repoint it. I also was supposed to rough in a new plumbing vent but that got missed - neither these things were big deals to me and at the final walk through Dallas said he would look into those two issues.
