Initially I spoke to a very helpful gentleman. Then I wasn't contacted for over a month. I called back and found out he was no longer with the company. They were very busy at the time and I was in no rush so they said they would call back and reschedule. Again I waited but never received a call. I called back again and scheduled my appointment. They came out and did the inspection. They found the problem that I have since had 2 other companies confirm. Lack of insulation. They wrote an estimate but it did not include the $300 insulation credit on my deal or the senior discount they say they offer Angie's List members. I decided to go with another company because of this.

Contacted 6 months later and was told company changed policy and now has minimum of 2500, and to get refund from Angie's List. No work was done, review based on their new minimum fee policy.

Someone from Snap Construction came out and looked at the job and gave me a verbal estimate of $2,700.00. I told him it was too much and he went back to his office and put the estimate in writing with a few discounts. The written estimate came back at $2,291.40. It is still too much money. I feel like Snap Construction gave me a bait and switch, and want a refund.

The ad, the way it was worded, was deceiving. It was very disappointing.

My husband contacted the company to discuss the offer. Based on that call we decided to purchase the deal. The representative from the company was supposed to call my husband back to schedule an appointment but they never called.

Paid for Insulation promo which is worthless. They charge you 4x the going rate for insulation work so the $500 credit for $99 is really only worth $125 at best. Then I got the estimate for complete attic insulation and the price is $3600 but with my $500 credit it's only $3100. When I hemmed about the price salesmen got on the phone and magically the price dropped to $2600 but only if I signed immediately.. I then asked for a written estimate detailing the work to be done i.e baffling, boxes for recessed lighting etc.., this took a week to arrive, and when it did, the estimate contained no details whatsoever. They also post a 105% price guarantee on their website which they refused to honor. I got two other estimates and went with Davis Insulation who provided a detailed estimate and quoted a price of $2300 for more work then Snap Construction proposed for $3600. My total square footage for this project is 1250 sq ft. Save yourself time and money and avoid SNAP construction.

We talked to many companies about replacing our siding, and based on the products, and the representatives from Snap we decided to work with Snap. Everyone one who came to our home was extremely nice, from the consultant to everyone who worked on our house. When we got all the information from our insurance company, Snap walked us through the paperwork, and let us know our options, and worked with us to determine what product we should use on our house (siding, gutters, gutter guards, window shutters). Everyone who worked on our home worked around our schedule as best as possible, and keep our yard clean. Our house looks great, all the neighbors complement us on our new siding. We are very happy with the finished work on our home, and with Snap.

Over a year and the job still isn't done. It's almost like they don't want to get paid. Kept emailing and calling and had lots of problems getting responses. Job started in October 2013 with the painting. The siding started on week two of November 2013 went up over two weeks. One day for tear off the first week. Two days for installing the new siding the next week. Didn't replace the wrap on the bottom edge of the windows. Didn't install door, window, or new gutters that was in contract. December 20th the gutter subcontractor came finally unannounced needing access to power, good thing I was home. I do not have a outdoor outlet. Sent email on December 25, 2013 outlining what was still to be done. No response and gave up at this point. February 3, 2014 got a call. "We were looking over outstanding accounts and noticed we didn't finish your job.", no kidding! Ordered door, said two weeks took eight. Sent crew out to install door, said it was the wrong size. Ordered smaller door, eight more weeks. Door was front storm door by the way. Got a call, person that sold me the job came out and installed it over two weeks. Had the front door taped shut for about a week. Found out this was the first door that was sitting in my garage for 3 months. Top strip from old door frame is still there otherwise it was installed okay. I happen to be home when he finished up. Tried to have me take the smaller door they ordered for the back, it was the right size. No I need a window more than that door replaced. He measured the windows and said it would be a month. He no longer works with Snap and I haven't heard or seen him since. Contacted Snap day after the 1 year anniversary of the contract being signed, September 26th 2014. They measured the window September 30th, 2014 and it should be on order now. Update: Window was mostly installed November t, 2014. I was told that they would finish up the next day but they didn't show. The window just need a little more foam insulation added around it. They also were going to redo the trim wrap around the window on the outside.

I've purchased this deal for a Home Energy Audit on our new house before the winter comes. I received an email telling me that someone will contact me to have this scheduled. I've waited for 19 days before I finally have to remind them that I haven't been scheduled yet. They were apologetic about this but it seems like I have been forgotten. The good thing was, Brian was very professional. He didn't find anything wrong with the new house. So it was okay. I would use their service again as long as the delay in scheduling won't happen again.

Kip inspected our attic. Said we have plenty of insulation, and potential heat losses through fixtures. Ventilation a potential issue. He said this could be fixed at the cost of thousands of dollars, but would also require attic to be reinulated. Suggested waiting to test for any ice dam issues this winter, and then reassess. Appreciated the honesty about costs and payback.

Very nice salesman..miss communication about what $99 for $500 worth of insulation means. I wanted a small area of my attic to have extra insulation ($500) worth. Evidently the offer by Snap was to give me $500 off of a bigger job for the $99 I paid. This is quite misleading. I declined the service. The representative was very nice and knowledgeable but he said the company couldn't do this type of spot work on an attic that wasn't up to code.

Very well. I thought I had needed insulation to solve an ice dam problem. However, Matt from Snap looked in the attic and indicated that the insulation was great. Thus, no insulation service was needed. Matt was excellent and I would use Snap again for other construction needs.

We never received the bid from September 19th. I called after several weeks had passed. My call was returned by someone who thought I was requesting a bid. I called back and left a message stating I was waiting for our bid.... Now October 9th and still no bid. I can't speak to their quality of work. I won't use them based on their inability to follow through with a bid.

The contractor called me and let me know that there would be extra cost. The deal seemed a bit misleading. The deal was only good towards getting the entire attic done, instead of just a small section.

I was very satisfied with all the work. In particular, Jeremy Herdrich was very accommodating in regard to the schedule and project details. I would definitely work with them again in the future.

Snap Construction installed new roof vents and insulation. A large wet spot appeared after recent rainstorms on my eaves near one of the soffit vents they installed. So I had my roof inspected and was told exposed nails were left on my roof near the new vents which can cause leaking like that - apparently it was areally sloppy job. I had no way of knowing this when they did this work last year. I had never had roof issues before the work they did. I would stay away from this company.

They were great and had no problems. They were on time, professional and knowledgeable. They readily answered my questions.

It went very well. I am pleased witht the end result.

On In April of 2014 I hired Snap on an Angie's coupon special to do an attic insulation and ventilation inspection (after which I was given an estimate for the work that they thought needed to be done.) For that job I got a quick response, appointment made (5/7,) and an estimate for the work, but I had no plans whatsoever to do that work now. I just wanted the "inspection" done. On 5/5/14 I made an appointment for the same Snap estimator to come back out and look at a walkout French door installation which he had said they could also do. THAT work I did want done as soon as possible. On 5/28 I left a message for someone to get back to me because I still had no estimate for the doors. By 5/30 no one had called me back so I again called them. I was told that the office manager was "on leave" and was put over to some other job coordinator or manager. He told me the original guy who had bid my attic and who had looked at the door installation was no longer with the company. They were having to review all his stuff and someone would get back to me in "a couple days." On 6/12 I called them again because I still hadn't heard from anybody. I talked to the same manager again who said that he had assigned the door job to someone who was supposed to have gotten back to me. He said that he was unhappy that I hadn't been contacted yet. After we talked about the job a bit I offered to send him all the specs on the (Pella) door in an effort to make their job a little easier. By 6/19 I had put together all the specs and relevant details (from another estimate) and e-mailed it to Snap. I never heard back from them I hired Pella to do the work. The door will be installed, finally, in early October.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that we purchased. It was very good. We ended up getting the roof done. We are going to use them again for some gutter work.

They were very good about communicating when they were coming, if they were going to be a little bit late and who was coming. The details of the visit were also very good. There were no additional charges. It was not a very big deal because they were here for less than 40 minutes. It wasn't like they did any work on my house. They gave me the answers that I needed. It was a good deal through Angie's List. They were running late but they called two hours in advance to let me know. I would use them again for a bid but I would do more investigation if I was doing work on my house.

I bought the service and they preformed it. They were timely and courteous. I bought something and they delivered. I didn't think it was exemplary service.
