Contacted them for an estimate of a siding project. Tom responded promptly and came to discuss the project. He is very professional and knowledgeable, and provided lots of helpful information. For this project, I also invited several other companies for a quote. But most of them only tried to sell me the most expensive or profitable solution. Tom is different. He considered my real need and came up with the most cost effective solution for me. If it was not my special requirement in project time, I would be more than happy to let them do the project. I would still recommend this company to you for a siding project.

It went really well. They were really prompt.

They had great communication, showed up when they said they would, etc. - so that part was great. Unfortunately, their quote was for over $12,000. I got two other estimates, and both of those estimates were under $6,000. I obviously went with one of those lower bids. I'm not sure if they just didn't want the job, or if there was an error in their estimating, or what happened. I did e-mal them to let the know about how different the bids were, but never heard back.

I'm not sure I'd use them again or not. The finished product was well done but there was a lot of miscommunication between the people who performed the work and the people organizing it which was challenging to get around at times.

Very prompt and quick service. Cleaned up -- no debris left behind. No leaks, even with recent downpours. Very happy and relieved.

We really wanted to like SNAP construction, and things started out well. We had great experience with the sales rep/project manager. We had a preferred 'deadline' for having the work done by, and he worked hard to meet that (weather became an issue, nothing you can do about that though) We were surprised that for a 1600 square foot house, they only had 1 person working on the house, we would have thought given our timeline request as well as the fact that we had weather issues and requested that the project be done ASAP, that they would have had two people on the job. That said, the quality was good - although the clean up/wrap up of the job was truly disappointing. We received a number of apologies and follow up calls trying to assure us that the matter was being taken care of, but it took weeks to clean up the remaining materials, and then after that, when we were ASSURED that the yard had been checked for loose nails and metal debris, my husband found over 2 dozen nails in the lawn as he was mowing it! Thank god, for us and for SNAP that no injuries occurred. The project manager came out the following day to do another check, and apologized - but that doesn't change the fact we were assured before we found the nails that they had done clean up. Finally, MOST of the materials have been picked up (took about 6 weeks) but the wood used to transport the siding is still in our yard... after we made our final payment and received assurance from the project manager that he would take care of it. Again, very disappointed. The reason we went with SNAP was because of the Angie's list deal - which made them the cheapest and at first we liked the company. I can say that we would not hire them again - the quality of the siding is good - color selection wasn't great and the installation was ok, but the project fell apart around the other areas.

I will not do it because I ended up going to the city getting a different type of energy audit sponsored by the city which I live in, a neutral party that don't try to sell. Everybody was trying to convince me that I needed an energy efficiency where my house score is 95%. I was hoping they would give me objective assessment, but everybody was trying to sell something here. They came and did what they needed to do. We had to agree with the date around my work. They showed up and honored the price. They tried to tell me I needed insulation. The price was okay. For that same service, I will not use them again but for other things, I will.

Didn't end up getting the roof estimate b/c my roof was too steep. Was reimbursed quickly by Angie's list for this hot deal.

Snap was Awesome! Our house has great curb appeal now and we love our new roof. We have used these guys before for our siding so they were our first pick when the roof needed replacement. Dave came out and gave us an estimate that undercut a competitor bid by over $1500 for better shingles. He also had a variety of contemporary colors and choices that appealed to us. We already knew they did quality work so hiring them was a no brainer. They took care of all the permitting and dumpster in the days before work started. They came out at 6:30am and we could hear them stomping around on the roof. They were done with the house and detached garage by 7:00pm that night. I think they stayed a little later to get it all done in one day. We weren't expecting that and were very surprised and impressed. I like that they caught all the debris on tarps. Then went over the yard with magnetic rollers several times. We haven't found any nails. They were professional, punctual, competitively priced, easy, and the roof looks spectacular.

After we worked out a time, Dan arrived at the scheduled time and said that he had left his ladder at the previous job site and would need to come back, but had come anyway so he would be on time. I showed him where I had areas of concern, and he was able to return later and complete the inspection. I had to leave the house before he got back, so he emailed me the results later that afternoon.

We had a few backups in the gutters on the 2nd story where I couldn't reach. The gutters were starting to bow out because of the weight of the standing water. I was concerned the gutters were going to come down before they could be cleaned. Luckily, they were cleaned out before that happened.

Attic insulation went well. However, there was a crack in one of the bedroom ceilings from one of the workers walking around the attic. This was never reported or fixed. Also, the vents that were cut into the soffits were not done professionally. For starters, they were not evenly measured out across the length of the house. Secondly, the holes were not cut consistently and are very noticeable looking through the vents.

There was some confusion with the scheduling, so we ended up having to reschedule two times with the company. Their fault not ours. The person that was sent out normally does not do this type of work. He was very very nice and wanted to do a great job. The work done was okay. There was a stain left on the windows which we had to get off later.

Was too happy with the estimator. 1st quote - Gave detailed specs on my siding project and got 1 price. 2nd quote - called to confirm original estimate and the estimator had an aerial measurement taken and provided a 2nd quote... which was inaccurate. The estimator failed to reduce the sq footage of the project for the windows, doors, garage, etc. When I got my quote back the materials needed went up by 20% and my price per sq ft went up another 10%... nothing changed on my end. 3rd quote - came back with the original numbers I provided him but a 3rd labor price in 3 quotes. Although professional and persistent; I find the estimator highly untrustworthy due to the number of errors made on measuring my siding and the consistently changing price for the labor.

They were fast, professional, and they answered all of my questions. I would recommend them to anyone.

New siding and windows on a buy and hold property of ours. I received three bids on my project. Their bid was slightly higher than the lowest bid, I tried to negotiate them down and they came down a bit, but would not match the other bid. I choose them anyway due to a friend referral. The project went well. The home looks great. The home had older windows that were drafting. The new windows made a significant difference during the cold spell this last winter. They found that a few walls didn't have insulation. They were able to use a machine to fill those areas which made our kitchen much warmer. Overall the job went well. I just joined angieslist to search for a few providers for our upcoming and hopefully last project to roof our home. They will certainly be a part of the bidding process.

Like I said in, What did provider do?, I had to decline. The money had been paid to Angie's List. I would like a refund.

They came out and did a measurement of heat loss with a heat gun. However it was 70 degrees outside and inside so I didn't see the point in using the gun. I did question them at the time on the reliability of the service but he assured me he could tell the difference.

Said he would be back in a month or so when it was a little colder in order to use a thermal imagery. I asked him if I should set up another appointment he responded, "I will get back to you". Never heard from him! PAID $89 DOLLARS FOR A COMPLETE WASTE OF TIME.

Fantastic provider. Worked with me on the cost of the redecking and helped me weed out other contractors' bids with an honest opinion up front. If ever I've had a contractor worth an A rating, this is the one.

He was so kind & thorough. I would definitely hire this company again!

The provider was very polite and pleasant. Once the inspection was done he advised me of the route to take in solving the heating and cooling issues we have in the home. I hesitate to give them a higher grade due to the bid. I was told and then sent a bid he told me was too high. He took the sales route of bidding high, blaming his boss and then drastically reducing the fee. My concern is why I didn't get a fair bid right from the beginning.

Purchased a deal to have them come out to do an inspection. I was up front about the preferred day to come out and what the situation was as we had some issues with some shingles and needed some repair. It took several back & forth calls and emails to get it scheduled for them to honor the work. It was somewhat apparant that this was really an opportunity for them to give a sales pitch for a new roof vs fixing what they could; there was some ability to re-nail shingles up on the roof, but they were not equipped with the right personnel and equipment to really do the repairs, and then basically indicated that it was really time to replace the roof despite the worker who did go up onto the roof indicating that except for the problem area we were wanting looked at, the rest of the roof was really in decent shape. Despite telling me that they would not charge me, and that they would get back with me after the 4th of July work stoppage to have other people from SNAP come out to do a bid for new roof, nothing else has happened. Seeing as how it was so difficult to get my Angie's List deal even scheduled for what happened, I am not interested in working with them for a bid. Both of the men who came out were professional. They were not, however, any different than many of the people I've had come out to look at the roof over the last couple of years in the fact they have bashed the previous installers and the materials, despite knowing that materials change over the years and it had been over 10 years since we roofed the house.

Harry was great. Very knowledgeable and respectful. He explained everything I had questions on and really took the time to do a thorough job. I would highly recommend this company as I found them to he honest, punctual, and professional. Many times when I buy a "Big Deal" on Angie's List I have experienced many companies who just want to take more of my money after they get into my house from the deal I purchased, but I did not feel this way with Harry. It was a great experience.
