Description of Work: Kurt was very professional in our original meeting - - but not too punctual in responding with an actual bid; we didn't hear back from him for three weeks - - and we never actually got an estimate. My sense is that he was just extremely overbooked. We ultimately went with a different contractor who could handle our landscaping needs at the same time.

 + -1 moreI liked the fact that he was honest in that he hadn't dealt with these before. I think a phone call or email back, either with more info or just stating that he couldn't find more info, would've been nice.
Description of Work: I talked with Kurt and he said he didn't really have any experience with replacing bad footings with helical pier screws. He said he would try to find out more for me if I emailed him pictures of the problem deck. I did so, but didn't hear back.

Description of Work: My back porch was sinking in a corner. He came out and dug down and checked the footings. He put some braces in to keep it in place. He will come back to check the braces.

 + -1 moreKurt was reliable from start to finish of the project. He bid on the job in a timely manner. His bid was competitive with the other companies. He was reliable in every aspect of the job. When he said he would be at the house, he was. The quality of the repair job is excellent. The deck looks great once again. The job site was left in perfect condition. I would not hesitate to use Kurt again for another project.
Description of Work: Kurt Olson was the gentleman that I worked with on this project. He replaced 7 fence posts in a cedar picket fence, along with a small section of fence. He removed and replaced the decking on a small platform deck.

 + 0 moreHE WAS VERY HONEST AND SAID THAT HE DID NOT HAVE THE EXPERTISE TO DO THIS TYPE OF JOB. HIS PRICES WERE VERY REASONABLE. HE WAS PROFESSIONAL, PROMPT AND NICE TO WORK WITH. WE WENT WITH SOMEONE ELSE THAT WOULD BE ABLE TO DO BOTH THE JOBS WE NEEDED.
