Signature Electric & Signature Landscape Lighting

Signature was able to come out quickly and take a look at the work I was requesting and provided me with an estimate. They were a bit more than another estimate I had, but based on the reviews, I decided to go with Signature and had them come back in a few days to do the work. Scott was knowledgable and professional. He was able to get through my "to do" list no problem. He had to go into my attic to investigate my existing fan installation (it was not working and I wanted a newer, more robust fan installed) and he discovered it was not venting outside (apparently it came apart at some point so the moist air was venting into my attic and not outside), so he fixed that issue as well. I am happy with the service and would use Signature Electric again.

Scott was quick to come out and do the estimate and discuss the details of the project. About a 1.5 weeks after that, the job took place. The electricians who worked on my house were prompt, professional, and communicated with me well about the different aspects of the job--seeking my input when needed rather than assuming how I would want it done. They were careful to make the appearance of the wiring look as best as possible, as they had to deal with working around a steel beam in my basement. They cleaned up after themselves and made sure I was satisfied with the job. Scott even took care of scheduling the inspection with the city--prior contractors I have used just give me the permit and tell me to take care of it. I plan to use Signature Electric again when I replace my panel in a year or two.

They were very professional and prompt. They came out quickly, later the same day I called, for no extra charge. I had a short circuit that wouldn't allow a breaker to close and the technician patiently tracked it down through ten or more outlets. Very nice guy and a great experience. I will use them for future electrical projects. The price was very reasonable too.

Scott sent out two excellent people to handle all of the installation. The two guys were punctual and did a great job at getting everything done quicker than I expected. The next day the inspector came out to make sure everything was correct and he couldn't stop raving about the job that they did. The inspector said that he loved coming in after these guys because they do such a thorough and neat job. If I wasn't moving out of the area Scott would be on my speed dial for all electrical jobs in the future. Thanks for the excellent service!

Met with Scott talked about what we needed done. His crew showed up on time and had the job done in one day. Came back after snow melted off roof and finished installing bathroom fan. Great crew, cleaned up when done. Will not hesitate to call again when we need more work done!

We contacted Signature Electric after discovering that water had leaked into our fuse box during the course of the spring melt. Chris was able to come the same day that we called. He quickly assessed the situation, and suggested that we replace the fuse box after noting some corrosion to the wiring that had resulted from the water. He also suggested a solution for preventing water from entering in the future. We received an estimate the next day, and all the work was completed the day after that. We were very pleased with the prompt, professional service and the good results.

These guys are impressive. I called them late morning to fix an outlet for a boat dock that hasn't worked in a couple years. They said a guy would call me back soon. Within a hour, Troy called and said he could stop by...today!! Yes, he could actually do it today! I was shocked. I called 5 electricians on Angie's List. Three of the five said they would call me in about a week to schedule an appointment. Seriously?a week just to schedule the appointment! Troy showed up early afternoon, diagnosed the problem and fixed it on the spot. He did a fantastic job. Granted, this turned out to be a small job, but the fact that they handled a small job so well, to me, says a lot about them. These guys are now on my list to call with an electrical problem. I highly recommend them.

Over the past year and a half Troy from Signature Electric has become the electrician I normally call first when I have electrical issues or want to do some upgrades on a few rental properties I own. He and his crew are prompt and have been good at providing me solutions that are safe, code compliant, and within my budget. I trust that they have my interests in mind when suggesting solutions to how best to upgrade my old electrical systems and have come to value their advice as to where my money would best be spent. I will continue to hire them as long as they provide me with the level of service I've come to expect from them.

Efficient, cleaned up well. All works as promised. There was an initial delay after I first contacted them before they got back to me, but once the work was scheduled, all was on time.

We purchased a house several years ago that was originally built in 1950. It is a spacious split level rambler, and the previous owners did way too much of their own electrical. The two of those factors combined makes electrical work (and remodel projects, in general) really difficult. After churning through different companies throughout the Twin Cities, I was referred to Signature Electric, and I have been using them ever since! Scott and his crew are really easy to work with, responsive, and dedicated to their trade. Where other companies would cut corners or tell me something simply "could not be done," the guys at Signature Electric will do the job correctly, and they will take the time to brainstorm options for each project to make it work. There have been a few instances where urgent needs have popped up over the years, and they've been great about reworking their schedules to get me taken care of, which I really appreciate! We are now renting out our house, and it is great to know that any electrical needs we have there will be handled by someone who knows our home and that we can trust to do the job right. I would recommend them to anyone!

Very professional, reasonable prices and quick to respond to minor venting issue. Did the work on an hourly basis but worked very quickly. Very organized and efficient resulting in a great overall value. Scott was great to work with and I would highly recommend Signature Electric.

Signature was very responsive. They were able to come within a week of my initial phone call, at the day and time I wanted them to come. They arrived a few minutes early and sent two electricians so the work would be done quickly. They finished up within 2 hours. They new exactly what to do and did a great job. They were courteous, cleaned up after themselves and new exactly what to do. I would certainly use them again.

An easy job, so he was in and out in no time. We've had them before to do more demanding jobs. They're thorough and quick. Nice guys.

The wiring service had to go from the elecrical box in the garage through the attic and down the wall to the point of installation in the kitchen. They responded to an high priority call from us because we did not realize the old microwave did not have an designated outlet (it was powered throught the old oven)until we removed the wall unit, and we were anticipating the delivery of our newly purchased microwave and oven within 24 hours.

I called and Scott answered the phone right away. After discussing the project for a few minutes, he asked if I could send him photographs of our existing panel and the affected work area. I sent him the pictures and he provided a prompt estimate by e-mail, based on the pictures. I sent him a followup question and he replied promptly to this as well. In the end, I selected a different company to do the project, probably influenced by factors that could only be conveyed with an in-person estimating visit. However, the estimate-by-emailed-photo was slick in its own way and I will keep in mind that Scott is willing to do this. The estimated price from Signature Electric was very similar to those of all the proposals I received for this project. I just now e-mailed Scott to let him know I had selected a different company. He replied immediately and professionally, thanking me for letting him know. Even though I did not use Signature Electric for this project, I am left with a good feeling about this company.

My experience with Signature was stellar. Scott came out to assess the work needed, explained the process, and provided an estimate in a timely way. Jason and Cory arrived promptly and were both professional and personable. They were in my home for two days, and did some challenging work in my hundred year old house. They took pride in their work, as well they should, and cleaned up really well. I would absolutely hire Signature again, and would request Jason and Cory again.

He is the only one I will ever use for my electrical jobs, in fact I'll be calling him soon for new projects.
