Signature Electric & Signature Landscape Lighting

My first job went a little longer than we both expected due to some problems with my kitchen light box that required the electrician to go up in the attic. This is not unexpected in house built in the 1940's. Also, the electrician discovered that I needed new circuit breakers because the old ones were very loose. He didn't have those on him, since I hadn't mentioned it as part of the original job. This resulted in a separate visit. All in all, it was good no-nonsense electrical work.

Scott and crew were very professional. They made good suggestions during quote process. They showed up on time, were friendly, worked fast and finished quickly. They were able to run lines to a couple of problem areas and install new fixtures that really improved the overall lighting in the home. I would definitely hire them again!

We had to get some electrical work done before Excel would turn our electricity on. I hired the first person that answered their phone. We were without electricity until he got out here and he came that day and looked at it and got right on it. This was the first time that I had used him. He met mine and Excels expectations. It was fine with me. I would use them again. The issue that we had was because it was an emergency, the part that we need was hard to find, so we paid him $105 an hour to drive around trying to find the part.

Appointment was easy to schedule. Troy and another person arrived on time. They performed the work efficiently and made some good suggestions about switches, settings, etc. They cleaned up completely. We were pleased and will use them again for electrical work. NOTE - This service was out of the VICTORIA location.

Arrived on time, was very friendly, answered all my questions. Was very thorough in determining the problem, then easily and quickly reconnected frayed wires and electricity in garage was back in order. Was willing to answer all my questions and educate me as an electrical consumer.

We had a number of minor electrical items that we were looking to address. Scott was responsive in follow-up as we we're trying to get a ballpark for our projects (vs. $X/hour). We're in the process of evaluating his proposal as we speak.

Scott was very professional. We had several electricians in that could not figure out the low voltage problems, but Scott and his associate figured it all out and did a great job. I would use them again for sure.

This was a smaller job that we needed to get done before selling our house to bring some things up to code. I searched for electricians in the area and called a few for estimates. Since it was a smaller job, they did an over the phone estimate. Of all the companies that I called, Scott gave the most accurate (and the lowest) estimate. The others just gave an hourly rate, but Scott even included the cost of materials into his estimate which was very helpful for us. We scheduled our time on a Monday and he was out here on a Wednesday. He said that someone would be here sometime between 2-3pm, and Chris showed up at 2:30. He worked quickly and was out in just over an hour. He completed everything that we asked him to do. I would definitely recommend using him to anyone else.

Scott installed our range hood for us. The kitchen hasn't ever had one, so it had to be wired and mounted anew. He was great! The project came in under budget and was completed in a very tidy fashion. We're looking forward to having him come back when we're ready to add some outlets and move around some light switches.

Extremely pleased with the results! The instructions that came with the chandeliers were incorrect so it took Troy much longer to assemble than estimated - not at all his issue but the manufacturers. His work was very precise and he really paid attention to all details. It took 2 visits to get both chandeliers installed, but they are lovely and I'm really pleased with the work that he did. Professional, polite, aware of his surroundings, and really cleaned up after himself at the end of the project.

I've used Signature a few times now. Scott and his team are exceptionally professional and reliable.

Call placed and answered, over the phone estimate - showed up on time, price reasonable - fixed 2 outlets and added an outlet for a retro-fit new dishwasher.

I contacted Signature Electric to relocate a light switch and to install several light fixtures. We were able to schedule the work for the following day. Just as the electrician arrived his phone rang, calling him away on a family emergency. Before leaving, he contacted Scott to let him know what was going on. Within a few minutes Scott contacted me to let me know he would be out to take care of my job himself. Scott arrived at the agreed upon time and performed the work quickly and to my complete satisfaction. It was important to me that this job was performed when it was to prepare for a delivery later in the week and I was very please that Signature could accommodate my schedule. I really appreciated the extra effort it cost to perform the work on the originally schedule day. I would definitely use Signature Electric again.

I contacted Signature Electric based on the reviews on Angieslist. Scott responded to my email the same day and was able to accommodate my schedule and installed the chandelier the same week. He was on time and the job took less than an hour which is what he originally estimated. I also asked about additional electrical work that I am considering completing in my home and Scott will be providing quotes for that work as well.

Originally they were supposed to come earlier in the month, but one of their electricians ended up needing surgery, so I was happy to accommodate a change in the schedule work. They were prompt on the days we finally settled on, and courteous about not tracking up my hardwood floors. Both of the electricians were friendly, and the owner, Scott, was very helpful in offering alternatives to things which couldn't be done as I'd originally imagined, or couldn't be done to code. The guys finished up the job in about a day and a half, and even solved an enduring mystery for me before leaving. The light in my hallway would occasionally flash on and off for no apparent reason. All it would have taken on my part was taking a look at the bulb--apparently it's a specialty bulb that flashes after a certain amount of time. They didn't charge me for the extra advice, and left me a happy customer. I'd highly recommend these guys for any project.

Great experience. Scott was very prompt and communicative. His staff was highly professional. The work was spot on. I'm very happy with my experience and would gladly refer them, as well as use their services again.

Scott was fabulous. We had a smoke alarm that wouldn't reset after a battery change. I called at 8am, he said he could be here within the hour. I wasn't prepared for that and said I could be home by 10:15. I pulled in at 10:10 and he was waiting for me. He quickly found the problem and fixed it. He was gracious, friendly and fast.

As I was getting ready to go to work, my husband was sitting on the computer enjoying the heat from our little space heater. Unfortunately blowdryer + heater=trip the circuit. He went to the breaker box to reset it, and it didn't work. I did some fast research on Angie's List, and chose Signature because of the good reviews. I hate calling to have any work done, because we come from a smaller area where every knew someone so we never had to cold call a contractor for help. I called and talked to Scott and he was so nice! I told him what was wrong and he asked if we had completely turned the switch off before turning it back on to reset it. He said that sometimes people don't do that. He wasn't saying it to be rude, he said he just wanted to save us some money if we hadn't tried it. That really impressed me, that he wasn't out for easy money. Unfortunately, the reset didn't so he gave me a window that he thought he'd be available. He promised to call when he was about 20 minutes away and he did! My husband met him at our house and Scott was very professional, polite and helpful. Fortunately, it wasn't a big problem--we had to replace a few switches in the circuit box. We were very pleased with our experience and will definitely use Signature Electric for any future projects or problems.

We had hired Signature Electric to work on some wiring in our building. We had an appointment scheduled that we needed to delay for weather reasons until the following week-- something we totally understand. Now, on the day they were supposed to show up, they did not show up and said that they had put it on their calendar for the following Monday. While we are certain that we would not have rescheduled the visit for two weeks out given that we need our wiring fixed ASAP, we understand that misunderstandings happen. The part that made us upset is that they could care less that there was a misunderstanding, never apologized to us, or made any attempt to reschedule their visit to an earlier time. Their customer service is horrible.

We called the company made an appointment with them. We had to reschedule due to other commitments and they were very easy to work with and make an appointment. Arrived when he said he was going to and did great work

I had a recessed light that could not be removed, It was stuck and the whole unit would turn. The electrician had to break the bulb to remove it. He vacuumed up any stray pieces. He was courteous and very reasonable and left me with his card.

Our horrible old overhead light fixture in the kitchen was burning out bulbs faster and faster until a couple of weeks ago when it blew out the bulb as soon as we screwed it in. We called Signature for help and were advised to buy a new fixture first, then call for an appointment. We did this, and Troy was able to come the next day or so. He arrived on schedule, very nice and competent. He spread a dropcloth to prevent a mess (e.g., plaster droppings). Finished quickly. He advised us on our various lightbulb options. Also looked at another lamp we weren't sure about, and pronounced it healthy. We used a $25 Angie's List coupon. One minor glitch: math on invoice was wrong, but this was quickly resolved.
