A wonderful job! This is the second painting job they have done for me and the second time was as good as the first. They are punctual, clean up well so you can use the space at night, and the quality is superb. I would definitely recommend them to anyone. Price is reasonable.

We are very happy with the results of the work done by Shelton Painting. Dan came out and did an estimate for interior painting of the whole house. He had answers for all our questions and was responsive with the estimate (despite a mix up with our email address). They were also responsive to some additional questions we had after the estimate. We were able to schedule the painting work within a couple of weeks of our accepting the estimate. The actual job went very well. The crew was prompt, courteous, and clean. They did a reasonable clean up at the end of each and a final clean up at the end of the job. They did high quality work on all the patching and painting including corners, at the ceilings, and at the transitions between colors. The job was completed ahead of schedule (they painted a 4400 sq ft house in 4.5 days) and very close to the original estimate. We highly recommend Shelton Painting and would hire them again in the future. Thank you to Dan and the crew for doing a great job, being respectful and timely.

Dan came initially to give an estimate and he walked through everything that needed patch up. The 4 men who came on painting day were very professional, courteous and prompt. They did an awesome job and would recommend them to anyone. Thanks guys!

They showed up on time and they did do the work but they painted everything the same color - not the colors it was supposed to be. They didn't call me to ask if this was right. They did fix this the second day (and they had planned to be there two days) They also made sure that I knew that they didn't cause the spots of paint on the ceiling. They didn't call to ask about the holes in the walls or wood work (did I want them patched). And when I asked them to fix something that looked bad - not as a result of their painting but because it was more visible now that there was more light in the area - I was told that they hadn't bid that. Of course I knew they hadn't bid that but I wanted to know if they could fix it - and what it would cost. After finally explaining that I knew they hadn't bid it and that I was willing to pay for additional work, they fixed it for a reasonable fee. It just seemed to be a bit of a production getting to "how much extra will it be for you to do this." When all was said and done, the room looks good. There are still holes in the wall that they just painted over instead of properly patching, caulking wasn't finished on the window trim, fireplace and around the door trim (although the baseboard was completely caulked). I've hired other painters to do additional work and patch up their gaps. I don't think I'm overwhelmingly picky, I just expect professionalism and pride in the work they do. Over all I'm happy with the way it looks. Working with them was just a bit frustrating.

Everything went really well and we are very happy with the work. The team that did the work was really good about preparation. We had just gotten new carpet installed, so we were concerned about not getting paint spilled. No problems at all. The project was also completed on time and the quality was really good. We initially met with Todd and he was very honest about what he thought needed to be done - without any hard sell at all - and also what could wait. His estimate seemed very reasonable in light of other painting work we had performed a few years ago. Dan managed the project and he checked in regularly to make sure things were going as planned. And the painting crew was also really knowledgeable, and they were able to answer any questions we had throughout the project. Overall, we had a very good experience, and I will call them again the next time we need painting done.

They were responsive and extremely friendly. The work was done cleanly and with quality! We will definitely use them again in the future.

As is often the case with any repairs on an older home (1926) the minor ceiling plaster issue became larger than expected, and took much more time than the bid had accounted for. We were so impressed that we never once felt that they realized they were more than likely not making much (or any) money on this project and therefore needed to get it done asap, but instead continued the work with the same pace, and attention to detail that they had started with. Not only did the Lead painter have us do a ?walk through? to make sure we were pleased, but one of the owners of the company stopped by later that evening to insure everything had been done correctly and to their standards.

Our family has used Shelton Painting on several jobs now, one a whole-house remodeling job, and we have been delighted in their work time after time. This job required repair of moisture damage to ceilings and refreshing some walls. The things I like most about Shelton are: (1) Their quality is second to none. Painting is primarily about prep, and their guys do it better than anyone I have used before. (2) The crew they bring in are all gentlemen, all devoted to doing their work well, all completely honest, polite and trustworthy. Jaime, the crew leader, is tops! This last job they did for us was typical of all their work. They spend time at the outset in making sure that all adjacent areas are protected with plastic so that there is never any collateral damage in their work - obviously crucial in painting ceiling. Then, once the job is complete, they do a perfect job of clean-up. All in all, we could not be more pleased, and Shelton will continue to get all our family's business.

Todd was able to provide a quote quickly after reaching out to him. His team was able to complete the project on time and the results were amazing.

They ruined my brand new floor when pulling the refrigerator out to paint. They scratched the floor. However, they did provide some compensation for the damage.. The painting was sloppy and a mess.

This is the second time we've hired Shelton Painting and they did a great job both times. They are punctual and get the job done as quick as possible but also have great attention to detail. They did a very precise job on painting the walls, and also did well on moving or covering furniture and other items, minor drywall repairs, and cleanup. Overall great job.

Dan came out and gave a thorough and professional assessment of the damage. He gave me a number of options as far as how much they could do depending on budget and need for more extensive work. On the day of the work, Dan showed up with a full complement of 3 workers. They made quick work of the whole project. One of the workers really got creative in patching around crumbling baseboard. This saved me having to hire carpenters to replace the woodwork. As far as the walls, they matched the paint perfectly. The results looks like the whole room was repainted. I was also impressed that Dan himself returned and did a walk-through of all of the work. I would recommend these guys for any painting job, especially if it requires some wall repairs.

Todd Shelton was friendly, helpful and prompt. He kept me up to date during the project and asked repeatedly if I had any questions or concerns. The entire job was done in little over a week. I'll be calling him in the future for any painting I need.

In two days they transformed the room. They were punctual and ruthlessly efficient. The cleanup was thorough which is so important for such a messy undertaking. Given the number of workers on the crew and the amount of work and time required to complete the job, the price we paid represented real value. We couldn't have been happier with the result.

The cabinets turned out to be hard cardboard instead of wood so it was a difficult fix for the painter.. The two men were very pleasant, neat and professional.

Todd did not measure the rooms, just looked at the areas. He came out quickly after I requested and estimate. He was on time and professional. However, his estimate was twice the cost of the other estimates we received so we did not use his services.

Calls and appointments were very prompt and responsive. The estimate he gave me was almost twice as much as 3 other estimates that I received. The 3 other estimates were all close to the same, so I couldn't figure out why Shelton's estimate was so high. I went with one of the other companies and I am thrilled with the work that they did. I can't image what more Shelton Painting could've done that would've made it worth twice the price.

Shelton arrived very promptly to my house to start the job. The original time frame quote was 6 hours - they were able to get it done in 4. The painters were very courteous, professional and the clean up was fantastic. Everything went very well and I am sure to contact them again for future painting needs.

We asked to have the job completed in a short time frame. They sent over a large crew to prepare for painting and then a large crew to perform the painting. Job was done in 3 days and it is fabulous. Very professional company. Classic situation that you get what you pay for

The work done was impeccable and they did an excellent job cleaning up. I will be using Todd and his crew for all of my painting in the future - I highly recommend them!

It looks amazing. Total transformation. Dan and his crew did a beautiful job -- beyond what I could have imagined. Every part of their process is professional -- from the prep work to keep the mess to a minimum of disruption, to the finished product, to the clean-up. I will very likely hire them to do the trim next. They were a bit more expensive than my other bid, but well worth it. I'm extremely pleased. My walls were a mess, and 4 days after they started work, you would never know it. Very highly skilled group, and also great on communication.

The estimate was for 5 days of work and they finished in 4 days. Todd and his team were professional, personable and the quality of their work throughout the home was extraordinary. They did a great job at ensuring that all woodwork and floor coverings were protected and when they were completed with the painting, vacuumed the floors. The clean-up was excellent throughout the work areas and any ancillary pathways. Jim, the senior team leader for this project, was on top of all aspects of this project, arriving first at the house every morning before start time. They moved and/or covered all furnishings and returned all furniture for project walk-through. Todd did an excellent job of providing an initial estimate, came over when the project started and was here several times per day to ensure that things were going smoothly. He kept me informed of status updates. The work done was excellent and I am very pleased with the results. Todd is a straight shooter, no sales tactics and this proved to be extremely comforting and truthful. I would definitely hire him for any future work needing to be done and would highly recommend him to others.
