Todd, Steve, Jim, and the rest of the crew were great. They were timely, very courteous, and extremely conscientious about their work. Todd provided us with an estimate prior to the work and did not deviate from it. Todd came back for a final walk-through once the work was complete and even pointed out touch up spots that we did not see. I would highly recommend this company.

Great job! Todd and his crew were delightful to work with. Very conscientious about landscaping and quality of prep work. The only problem I had was with the subcontracted carpenter, but Todd backed up the work and stood true to his word. I would absolutely use him again!

Todd seems like an honest guy. I have a rental property. He told me what he would paint and steered me away from other areas that I inquired about. Did extra things like treating mold in closet with special paint and painting furnace vent covers, which were ''freebees'' so to speak, as he didn't charge me more. ''I just want to do a good job. We don't cut corners.'' It seems he doesn't.

The work was absolutely fantastic. Who would believe that an awesome paint job on an older home could give an 82 year old home a gorgeous and much needed facelift? I want to thank Todd, Dan and Brady for their beautiful work, patience for detail and great personalities to work with. I had actually chose four colors for the home, and the house looks wonderful. The crew was able to take care of everything; the house, garage, deck and fence in 6-7 days. I would highly recommend Todd Shelton and his crew for any paint job anyone needed on their home. I know that as soon as I am prepared to tackle the interior of my home, there is no doubt in my mind I would indeed love to have these wonderful folks take care of the project.

Excellent. Todd is very professional and personable. You can trust him instantly. Has very high standards of quality for the job and for the conduct of his workers. Workers worked steadily throughout the day - with a break for lunch, and were very polite and friendly. They gave extra care to cover landscaping and did no damage. After the job, they cleaned up thoroughly; as if they had never been there. Did more than contract called for. Job began later than planned because of weather, but Todd was always very easy to get hold of. If he couldn't answer his cell immediately, he called back quickly. He told us ahead of time when they would be here and they were right on time. Recommend them highly.

Shelton Painting Inc is an A+ company. The 2 young men working on the project were so polite & did excellent work, including cleaning up after the painting was done. I have 2 other projects that I'm considering in the future & I would definitely hire them to do the work. I am very pleased. Couldn't have gone any better.

Todd Shelton is very personable and easy to work with. His estimate was about mid priced, but his estimate was the only one that included two full coats of paint. His crew was extremely hard working, intelligent and efficient and made every effort to do a great job. They completed the job in just one week by doubling the crew when necessary. This was a great experience with only one small problem (a peony was damaged which Todd offered to replace). I will definitely use this contractor for interior work, and I have no reservation recommending him to other Angie's list patrons. The price seemed high at first, but after watching the crew and observing what a difficult and big job this was, I am very satisfied with the price.

Obviously, an expert at his work -- good recommendations on how to deal with cedar shingles and painting method. Very prompt and thorough. Very easy to communicate with.

The overall experience was very good. My calls were always promptly returned, and Shelton Painting representatives came when they said they would and were very pleasant to deal with. They worked quickly, did a thorough and high quality job, and cleaned up very well. They were willing to use the brand and kind of paint I wanted even though it was not what they generally use.

This painting contractor did not contact me after I sent 2 e-mails requesting they contact me for an estimate of an exterior painting job.

I am very satisfied. Dan and his crew were highly professional. The bid process was smooth, my questions were answered, and useful suggestions were offered. Scheduling was convenient. I did not need to have been home, but I was much of the time, and despite the extensiveness of the job, the crew accommodated my requests for movement about the house. At the close of each day, the home was neat and livable. Todd Shelton, the owner, stopped by on the second day, reviewed the work, and spoke with me at length. Special requests were fulfilled. Upon completion, a close inspection was performed. The paint selected was a Benjamin Moore product that Consumer Reports cited as having enviable properties but was difficult to apply. It looked beautiful. In all of the thousands of square feet of painting, my wife and I could only detect a few minor flaws and consequently did not even call them back for a touch up. Note the amount paid for work field reflects a 5% Angie's List member discount.

My contact at the company was Dan, and he did a great job. Todd Shelton would check on the work from time to time, which was nice too. My wife and I couldn't be happier with the result. We have gotten many, many comments on how great the house looks. Dan and his team were professional, timely and cared about the work product. Not only were they effective, but they did the job in less than a week's time. I would recommend this company to anyone, and I will gladly use them again.

Todd runs a very successful and customer focused business. If it were not for the fact that he is so busy right now, we would have gone with him. We will definitely consider him for future painting.

Dan responded immediately and came over to give me a bid, and I told him to start the work the following week. Dan came back with another employee to perform the work. They completed the work in 2 days since they had to make sure that the oil primer dried after the first day. They did an excellent job, and I am planning to hire them the next time that I need to paint the interior of my home. My wife and I could not tell that the kitchen ceiling had any signs of a water leak. They were very careful not to peel off the wallpaper in the kitchen when they removed the masking tape. They did a very professional job, and I am amazed at how well it turned out. I told them that I would highly recommend them to my neighbors and friends.

Shelton's was great!!! They were very pleasant and helpful! Todd was able to accommodate my change of dates easily! They did a BEAUTIFUL job!!! The house is GORGEOUS!!! They were prompt and very reasonably priced. I am very happy with the service and would recommend them to anyone!!!

They did a good job with the painting.

The painters were always on time. The estimate included all materials, unlike the other painting estimate we received that did not include the cost of paint and other unspecified materials. That meant no surprises at the end when we paid the bill!!! Very nice. While the actual amount of the bid was higher than the other bid, we think that with the cost of paint and unspecified materials, this bid was lower. The painters went beyond the details of the bid to cover adjoining walls that they could have ignored if they wanted to get technical. The texturing on the new ceiling is indistinguishable from adjoining rooms. Overall, this company proved that they have extensive experience, and the solutions they proposed to a couple of tricky situations were simpler than our other bid and worked out exactly as they said it would. The time that the job took was exactly what they estimated.

Estimating was very thorough. He gave various options on the painting of cabinets. Work started on the day agreed upon in spite of a March Blizzard. All the painters were very good and also good to be around. They moved the furniture for us and put it back in proper positions with no complaint. When done, they cleaned up every thing. They covered all floors and furniture in the rooms being worked on. They came back promptly to take care of a few things we were not satisfied with.

Todd and a crew of 4 painters did an amazing job repairing my walls and painting. I am a picky customer, and I cannot find one thing to complain about. The job was done flawlessly... and FAST! I was amazed at how quickly the job was done. The painters were courteous and professional. This is the 3rd job I have had Shelton Painting do for me, and I have always been pleased.

They are excellent and professional and nice polite workers. They're quick and thorough, too. These are the best painters I have had the pleasure of dealing with.

Todd came over and met with us at our newly purchased home. He was very personable and polite. I felt as though he listened carefully to what I wanted and was honest about what he could and could not do about situations like my damaged kitchen ceiling. We wanted the work done quickly before we moved in, and Todd was able to fit us in the next week, and his crew was able to complete the work within a week. When it was completed, he said if anything wasn't exactly how it needed to be to make sure to call him and he would send someone to touch up any areas needing it. There were just a few spots, and he sent someone the next day to fix it - it wasn't a big deal at all, and they were very professional about it. My experience with Shelton Painting was great. The only reason I marked quality as ''B'' is that I think there are other painters out there who perhaps are more meticulous, however I was very pleased with the work. I especially felt the price was excellent for the work done.

Todd was great. He helped me make decisions that were the best and most economical for my situation. He and Jim, his employee, were both friendly and extraordinarily easy to work with. The work was truly superb--you should see my gorgeous ceilings! They charged an excellent price for the work involved. I'm delighted.
