Shelton Painting is a premier painting contractor in the Twin Cities. They have done several projects for our family over the years, and each time, they have delighted us with the quality of their work. They do an excellent job of protecting adjacent areas as they set up the job and then another excellent job of preparing the surfaces. Their paint sticks and their paint jobs last a long time. Dan Krenz is co=owner. We find Dan a pleasure to do business with. He is fair, honest, professional, and he employs and leads painters who share his customer-focused values. A+++

Todd was the only contractor of those we got estimates from who actually came to the house and met us. He showed up with five painters, on time and knocked through whole job out in two days. My husband is an ex-painting contractor and they met or exceeded his high standards in all areas. There were some minor flaws in one of the darker rooms which were fixed without issue.

Well. Dark color required some touch ups, but service provider was friendly and took care of the situation. Also removed chandelier from high elevation.

Our experience was great. The staff was professional and left the place immaculate. In addition to moving the furniture, they even went so far as to hook up the electronics when finished! We didn't need to do a thing when they left.

Shelton Painting did a great job! The estimate was accurate, the work was done quickly, the workers were prompt and the area in question was kept clean. The end result smells and looks like a new basement!

Totally professional. Excellent prep and cleanup. Good work on existing ceiling water damage. Then, a few weeks later, weather-related roof-damage resulted in a spot on the newly-painted ceiling. Todd recommended a roofer, who promptly gave an estimate and repaired the roof damage. Todd then arranged for repair of the new ceiling damage. All exterior work was high quality. Will use in the future and strongly recommend.

Wonderful!! I sent out 8 requests to painters, only Todd Shelton sent a quick response with cost included and was very prompt with responding to my emails. They know customer service! I even received a reminder call on a Sunday that they would be here the next morning and arrived promptly. I knew it wasn't a large job, but so happy none of the others replied to me because they are the best!! A huge shout out to Jessie who reskimmed the walls, he did an amazing job and was so nice we had our lunch together. They will be my go to painters from now on!

They went above and beyond to prep each room in order to provide total protection to furniture, carpets and fixtures. They work quietly and diligently through each work day. Clean up was outstanding. My house needed a lot of scrapping and sanding on the underside of the overhangs and on the south side which became blistered from the winter sun. The crew did an outstanding job prepping the house. The also painted with two coats of paint plus all the trim and also caulked windows. The job was excellent...even more than what I was hoping for! The crew was friendly, hard-working, and did a careful and neat job on the painting and clean-up. I highly recommend Shelton Painting!

Todd and his crew did a fantastic job. This was our second project with them and they met all of our high expectations. Our home looks wonderful. We are very pleased and have no reservations about recommending them.

They did a good job of scraping and priming the wood surfaces before repainting. The only complaint I have is that they were in a big hurry to get the finishing work done and replace the storm windows on the last day and did not replace all of the screws around those. I needed to go around and add more screws in the storms as some of them had gaps between the wood frame and storm window. Also I had cleaned the storm windows myself when they were down but the outsides of the house windows were very left very dirty. Had they let me know that they were going to leave them so dirty I would have been willing to get a window washer to clean them before the storm windows were replaced.
