Another project in the neighborhood had been put on hold so Tod had a crew available very quickly. They went to it and completed the job in about 6 hours. We were very satisfied with their work.

Worked great. I was moving in from out-of-state and wanted to have our toddler's room painted the same color as the "old" house. We used Angie's List to select a painter. Todd met us at the final walk through and was painting that weekend.

TODD AND HIS CREW WERE WONDERFUL TO WORK WITH. THEY ARRIVED ON TIME. TOOK EXTRA CARE TO PROTECT MY FURNITURE. THEY HAD 4-6 PEOPLE WORKING ON MY HOUSE.TODD ESTIMATED THE PROJECT WOULD TAKE 4 DAYS, BUT THEY FINISHED THE PROJECT IN 3 DAYS. THEY DID A GOOD JOB OF CLEANING UP AFTER THEY FINISHED.

I called Sheldon Painting after reviewing the reviews and ratings on Angie's list. Todd (the owner) was able to book me an appointment on a weekend day and was able to finish an estimate within minutes of his arrival. He explained the process clearly and was able to book the appointment to begin painting within four days (this was over the July 4th weekend). Todd's bid was also 400-600 dollars less expensive than the four other bids we received and he was able to book us within days and not weeks. Todd's crew came in that Monday morning and completed the house within 12 hours, this included all prep work and two coats of paint. We couldn't have been happier with Todd and his crew. The extra time he gave back to us allowed us to move into our home faster. Thanks Todd!

It went very smoothly. Todd came out promptly to give a bid. When it was time for the work to start, they accommodated my travel schedule. Dan Krenz was the crew supervisor. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and very accommodating. He made some good suggestions about trim color. The work was completed in 5 days (1 for the power washing and 4 for the painting). All work was completed to my satisfaction, and they cleaned up well. The house looks great! I would definitely call on them again.

Todd bid the job in the winter and said he would schedule it for June. Late in May, he said his crew would be ready in a few days. They came and completed the job in 2 days and it looks wonderful. They were very careful about picking up afterwards. One of the storm windows was accidentally broken and they replaced it within a few days and came back at my convenience. They did a great job. I would definitely recommend them and, in fact, have.

It went OK. I was surprised that it would cost $4000 to strip and seal the deck. We opted not to have the work done. We will most likely replace the deck in the next 2-3 years.

Dan did and excellent job because the gazebo is surrounded by plants he decided to stain by hand with a brush rather by pressure sprayer. The plants were fine no stain on them. He did a beautiful job on the roof. I appreciated there care both with the gazebo roof which is fragile and the garden surrounding the gazebo. I definitely will use them again and I look forward to use them in the future.

Todd and his crew finished early. There was minimal dust. The crew detected a fire hazard in the light fixture wiring and brought it to our attention.

they exceeded my expectations-the work was flawless, even though they ran into an unexpected problem with the ceiling. They did not increase the price of the original bid-and went out of their way to take care of the Angie's List customer.

I was very impressed with Todd Shelton when he bid on my exterior painting project. He was very frank with me & set the expectations of what could be accomplished based on the condition of my garage. In addition, out of the 3 estimates I received Todd was the only one that pointed out one of my fence posts had rotted out & needed to be replaced. Todd also helped me find a handyman to do the fence post & garage side door/frame replacement prior to the start of the painting project. I also was impressed with Dan Krenz & the painting crew. They were all very professional & I was extremely pleased with the excellent paint job (especially how well the basement windows now match the trim of the other windows) as well as their clean-up efforts. While this was not the least cost bid I believe the quality service I received was worth the extra cost. I will certainly contact Shelton Painting for other painting needs & highly recommend them to other Angie Members.

What a wonderful job Shelton Painting did! We recently bought a house that was built in 1947, and we had to remove 60 years worth of paint (on top of wallpaper) while also being very mindful of the original hardwood. Todd, Dan, and his crew came and did an excellent job. They skimmed the walls perfectly-we do not see any trace of wallpaper. They also kept our hardwood floors (that were just redone) in perfect condition. They worked for 4 days straight and were done when they said they would be. Our next project is the exterior and we will be using Shelton Painting!

I selected Shelton painting from Angie's List based on the ratings and comments. Todd got back to me to arrange for a meeting to do the estimate the very same day I called. That weekend he came by, did a thorough review of the project and gave me an estimate. It was well within other estimates and lower than one. The project started on the agreed upon date, and they were very flexible due to weather and related house projects. They did an excellent job and I would highly recommend them to others (and have). I also had Shelton Painting do the interior painting of the majority of the house soon there after, which is covered in another review.

Overall, the project when great. They brought in a crew to prep the rooms and within 3-4 days, the ceilings were fixed and painted, and all the rooms painted as well. It looks fabulous. And they used high quality paint, so it will last longer.

Todd told me upfront that the windows had some extensive damage, and couldn't guarantee they would look like new again and gave me a bid that was quite reasonable. He and his crew came on the day and time established, did the work, cleaned up and were done in a day and a half. I am very pleased with the results. Other than a few bristles left behind, the windows have been restored to my satisfaction.

They were very courteous and polite. They showed up early and worked late. They seemed really dedicated to getting the job finished. Cleaned up well after each day that they were finished working.

Todd and the guys were absolutely wonderful! They left the house as they found it (actually in my case cleaner than they found it). In short I will definitely use his services again without hesitation.

Great care was taken to protect our carpet and furniture. Clean up was impeccable. Jim, the painter, is a very pleasant guy to work with. Communication before, during, and after the bid was very clear and prompt. Everything went on schedule. We are very happy.

I called Todd on a national holiday. He answered and even suggested that he could come over right away to provide an estimate. He was very frank and is knowledgeable. Provided us an estimate the same day. I called him back a few days later and he scheduled two days after that. His initial time frame was 3-4 days and he brought in a crew of 3-4 people for two days and completed an immaculate job. They took out all light fixtures and patched all walls before painting. After the painting was done, one of his crew members had re-installed the light fixture above the kitchen sink, upside down. I called Todd and he came over in the next 1/2 hour and changed it as well as walked through all the rooms to inspect his crews work. I would highly recommend Todd and will request his services again when we get the other rooms painted.

The ceilings and wallpaper removal went fine,and the work was completed on time. The painting job, however, was sloppy; paint smears on baseboards and cabinets, areas in the kitchen where I needed to touch up between the walls and the counters. Admittedly the previous (unknown) painters left many paint smudges which we clearly didnt wish to add to. Since we were painting different colors, the new smears were obvious. After Sheltons crew left, I found smears on doors and baseboards which they had attempted to remove, but the new paint was embedded in the wood grain. Two members of the crew were very young and clearly were being "trained in" as I overheard the painter in charge instructing them on the proper way to drape around registers, etc. Proper draping technique was clearly a problem as I found paint drips on faucets, in the toilet bowl, and on tile floors, etc. Shelton did work for us two years ago that we were happy with, but it was clearly a more experienced crew.

Proposal should be more job specific. It's too generic, leaves too many uncertainties.

The job was done way ahead of schedule because they had several people working and they worked long hours. The job was done very professionally, work areas were cleaned up and it looks great. Todd walked through with me prior to them leaving the last day to make sure everything was as we had discussed.

Todd and his crew arrived exactly on time. They expertly covered everything in plastic and tape where needed. The crew is hard working, excellent at their jobs, and made my plaster ceilings and walls look like new. My six panel doors had cracked paint around the panels, which they scraped, caulked, sanded, and gave them all two coats of oil based paint. The doors look new. Our door hinges were old and covered with paint. They suggested that with the fresh paint we might want to put new hinges on the doors. We got them for them, and are so happy with the results. All of this work was going on during a three day blizzard. Todd and his crew never missed a minute of work. They are all hard working, respectful of your home, and take pride in what they do. Todd is always available, ready to make anything right, and will not bid the job then disappear. Todd is totally involved in running a business with integrity.

They were great! Todd was excellent about returning calls and starting work quickly. His team of workers were polite, worked very hard, and did an excellent job.
