The whole process went beautifully. Mr. Shelton came out within a day or so after I called to give me an estimate. He arrived prompltly and gave me an estimate that included everything, so there were no surprises later. His crew started on the day promised and at the time arranged. They were polite and respectful of our home. They did a very meticulous job prepping the walls and patching rough spots. The job was finished ahead of schedule and at the price promised and everything looks great. The workers also cleaned everything up, including moving furniture back into place and vacuuming. When we had a tiny spot on the ceiling that pulled away, I called and spoke to Mr. Shelton and the very next day he sent someone out to fix it. Everything looks so fresh and beautiful. We would use Shelton Painting again for any painting needs and recommend them to any of our friends.

Shelton Painting did an excellent job. The estimate was fair, and the finished work exceeded my expectations. They were prompt, professional and left the rooms looking fresh and beautiful. Shelton Painting was awesome to work with. Todd came out and looked at the space, gave me a reasonable estimate. I told him that I wanted a particular brand of paint and what color. He said no problem. We had to leave town unexpectedly the day that we were scheduled to start the project, but they rolled with it and moved to a larger crew the next day. It was like something out of the movies, a bunch of guys came in one after the other and got right to work taping and prepping. Then a few more showed up and the painting started. They were very professional (no radio blaring or rude conversations). The work was top notch. It wasn't until after the fact that I realized how much work that they actually did. We had a lot of cracks and nail pops that I never mentioned, but they took care of it. Our walls look great! They did a superb job cleaning up after the fact (washed down the floors and areas that had sheetrock dust).

I wasn't terribly satisfied. They damaged other things than what I hired them to do. They damaged some tiles in the bathroom. After the plaster repairs, the walls were not as smooth and beautiful as I expected. Especially the ceiling they replaced.

Quoted $6800 to do the work. Received two other bids of $3900 and $3700. Don't think they needed the work, so they bid high.

The simple description of my experience was that it was great! That isn?t very descriptive so I?ll continue with relevant details. The whole effort took approximately 6 days with between 6 and 8 guys working from 9:00 to 7:00 every day. Preparation took almost 3 days, painting 2 days, then 1 day dealing with all the windows and miscellaneous items. What was most surprising about this experience was the cohesiveness and industriousness of the crew. I spent the three of the six day on site observing the work was being done. The crew worked diligently and w/o any corrections. They give the appearance of having worked together for quite some time. On the last day, when I was concerned they might cut corners to preserve profitability, exactly the opposite occurred. Todd stopped by in the morning, inspected the work, and made certain all the work was going to be completed to the standard he expected. Todd was creating more work on the day I was concerned they might minimize what was left. Another man, I believe his brother, spent all day onsite working with the crew, personally ensuring the quality of the effort. The very last work done on the property was by Todd?s brother, touching up a window that appeared just fine to me. This was after being paid and having packed up the equipment. I am very happy with the experience. The most difficult part was selecting the colors and dealing with my anxiety. Todd and his crew made the whole experience stress free. Todd was the person who provided the quote. They moved and replaced all furniture. A crew of five arrived on time each day, taped the moldings, covered furniture and rugs and painted for two days, putting in long hours the first day to get the job done on the main level. It looks great. I highly recommend them.

Overall the experience was positive although they didn't clean up as well after the job was done as we would have liked. We found some paint droppings splattered on the carpet, woodwork, light bulbs in the bathroom and the front door had a coating of something on it. The good news is that Todd was quick to respond and resolved everything to our satisfaction.

Todd came over soon after I called for an estimate and did a quick walk around the house and gave us a quote on the spot. He was professional and courteous and explained the process from start to finish. Before painting began, Shelton Painting arranged for a color consultant from Sherwin Williams to visit us in our home. She looked at our house and made several color recommendations based on our input and existing color of the stucco. We picked our colors and informed Todd of the selections. The painting crew arrived on time and worked quickly to prep the house for painting. Power washing was done several days before scraping, sanding and painting began. Each day the crew arrived on time and cleaned up after themselves. They were all very professional and courteous and did excellent work. Dan called several times during the course of the job to keep us informed of progress and to ask clarifying questions. On the last day the crew walked us around the house. We were very impressed with the quality of work and attention to detail. Shelton Painting did a fantastic job!

I had questions for him in terms of how he would do the job. He has obviously been doing this for a while. He had a good command of what needed to be done and how long it would take. He gave me some pointers on some of the painting that I would do myself. He gave me good advice. He was really knowlegable. I really think he knew what he was talking about.

Great experience overall. Todd Shelton was quick with his bid, and got me into his schedule right away. He also set up a free consultation with an interior decorator from Sherwin Williams. Amber came out and set up a nice color scheme that worked well for my needs. Todd's crew was there for a couple of days, they showed up ten minutes early each day, and Todd made regular stops to supervise the progress. The end result looked great.

The owner came to my home to do an estimate the same morning that I called. It was very close to (slightly lower) than another estimate I had received but Shelton could start right away. Two mornings later I had seven (yes, 7) guys at my front door ready to go! They worked hard for two days removing wallpaper, skimcoating, painting etc. The owner or his partner stopped in several times a day to check progress and bring supplies and to do a final check. We will use them again.

They were amazing. They worked way beyond the time I would have expected them to quit as they had so much trouble removing the wallpaper. They did a wonderful job and it took much longer than they expected because of having to mud and sand the walls. It looked excellent when they were done. I decided after the fact to have the downstairs ceiling sprayed and they responded quickly to get it finished. Also, we are selling the house and they gave me pointers on removing drapes and colors to use. Very helpful. I fully expected them to charge me more than the estimate as they had to work long hours and did not leave until about 7:30 pm., but he held to the estimate which I thought was amazing!

Very good experience. They were able to come quickly to give an estimate, and the job cost exactly what they said it would. About a week after the estimate, they came and completed the job. Very professional group.

The job was very neat, there were no spilled paint patches or splotches. They also provided a professional color consultant before the job at no extra cost to me.

They re-plastered and re-textured the area I had messed up and when they were done you couldn't tell I had torn it up. The did a great job and the new texture looks exactly like the old.

Excellent. Not without some paint quality issues related to the paint manufacturer, not the applicator. Shelton Painting, was very responsive to our concerns, didn't question their validity, and approached each item with a "we'll take care of it" approach and "will this date/time work?" My wife was home alone while the painters were here and the grandparents took our two boys (ages 2 &4). At 9 AM, 5 painters showed up, my wife gave them our 7 color selections, they immediately started taping all the walls and everything off to spray the ceiling while one went to get the paint. They stayed until 8pm, cleaned up just about everything. Two painters came back the next day for 2 more hours of touch up and additional coats to a "Dark Red" colored wall. After 2 months, we called them up because a couple of bubbles hadn't gone down, and they were out the next week to repair them and we can't even tell where they were. I never expect anything that is done by humans to be perfect. What I like about Shelton Painting is they have a "make it right" attitude and attention to quality of products, service, and satisfaction. I've always painted rooms and walls by myself. Actually, me and my wife. We won't hesitate to call Shelton Painting the next time we have a big project. We got way more than we paid for and and a lot less pain and headache than if we had done it ourselves.

They were reliable and worked twice as fast as they estimated. They were done in 2 days instead of 4. They had great communication and the job was flawless.

Because we were getting our house ready to sell, we wanted to be sure we picked neutral colors and Shelton Painting did a great job at consulting with us to achieve the desired 'look'. They finished all of the above listed work in a little over two days - returning on a third day to paint one window frame they had missed and to paint another kitchen wall at our request. They were very responsive to our needs and requests, and made the entire experience very pleasant. They work quickly, efficiently, and with attention to detail - ensuring that they leave the house (as much as possible) as they found it (i.e., swiffered wood floors upon completion of the work, put furniture back in its place, etc.). It was a real pleasure working with Dan and his crew.

Working with Shelton Painters was a great experience. Todd was at my house right on time for the estimate. It is clear that Todd is very knowledgeable about all things painting and wanted me to make an informed decision about colors and finishes of paint. The only minor problem with the entire experience was that they showed up about 20 min late on the day of the painting, but once they got in, they went straight to work and finished up all 3 rooms in about 5 hours. They worked quickly and when they were finished they walked me through each room and inspected their own work with a more discerning eye than I did! They did excellent work for a good price and I would definitely hire them again in a heartbeat.
