Fantastic. Todd and Dan and crew are gems. Couldn't have gone better.

They arrived fairly promptly, delayed by unexpected morning traffic, which they called to inform me of. The job took all day, finishing up around 7:30 at night. They stripped the wallpaper off all the wall surfaces of the kitchen, working around some built in lighting and many tricky corners. They patched the walls and put two coats of paint on. Todd and the crew were very professional and helpful, both in the estimation and the completion of the work. The $700 fee was very reasonable, in my opinion. I am very pleased with the wallpaper removal and painting. My only issue is that because of the state of my walls - covered by the wallpaper, so they had no idea about this, probably should have pushed this job to a partial second day. They had to do a lot of patching and ended up missing some spots that should have been patched. It just seemed that they got a little rushed in trying to do the wall prep and then get the two coats of paint on and then clean up. Other than that, everything was great and I would gladly hire them again.

The job was completed on time. they did an excellent job and came in right on estimate. they did a great job cleaning up afterword. They were friendly and I wouldn't hesitate to have any future work done by them.

The crew did a great job of putting plastic up to protect the rest of the house and did a great job of cleanup at the end. Ceilings had water damage and they now look great. They also prepared walls that had a sponge painted texture to be painted by priming and skim coating the walls. They had no problem that I, the owner was going to paint the final coat on those walls. They were timely and concerned to make sure we were pleased with the end product.

Everyone from Shelton Painting was pleasant and helpful, always scheduling estimates and work times that were convenient for me. They were always on time, from the time they came to my home for the estimate through completion. Todd had several people working on my house and they finished a fantastic looking job earlier than expected. After I had new carpet installed the following week, Shelton Painting came back and touched up the walls where the carpet installers scratched or dinged the paint. I Not only can I say that I would use them again, but I have used them again. When I decided to paint the exterior of my home as well, they showed up to give me an estimate. When I asked when they could start I was told they just had a cancellation and could start in the morning. And once again, they finished in less time than expected. Instead of leaving at 4 or 5 and coming back to finish the next day, they stayed, finished the job and barely got their stuff cleaned up before it was too dark to see at 8:00.

It was very good. I would recommend to friends and family. They were professional and on time and they met all my needs. I did have to call them back out to fix the storm windows because they had reinstalled them incorrectly when they were finished painting. They did come back out and reinstalled them correctly.

I was delighted from start to finish by the whole experience! They brought in a paint color expert who recommended amazing colors for both rooms that I never would have chosen on my own but are perfect. They repaired and painted the 1940s fluted molding around the windows so it looks brand new. The crew was meticulous about covering up light fixtures, switches, door handles, etc as well as the floors and furniture. Everything was immaculate when they left, and there were no "leftover" messes to clean up. They showed up on time and got the job done according to the schedule we agreed on. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to paint a room or rooms in their home. My space looks transformed! It was well worth the investment. I am planning to have them back to paint the bedrooms in our home this summer.

They did an incredible job, and the house was completely finished in 2 days. The workers were pleasant. I needed to get the job done quickly to get my house on the market, and it looks great!

All went extremely well. I had selected colors but they felt it would be too dark in the bedroom. We looked and looked until we found something they thought would work and I liked. It looks great. They finished the job and the final price was at the low end of the bid. Couldn't ask for a better outcome.

Everyone showed up when they said they would, They finished the job on schedule. Everything was cleaned up. The walls and ceilings turned out great. We are extremely happy with the results.

He was wonderful! He's a little hard to pin down on the time and has somewhat unusual hours; does estimates in the morning and works in the afternoon through the evening. He is very meticulous and does fabulous work, though.

Todd came on a Saturday to give me an estimate and even gave me some advice on other things in the house that I was looking at getting repaired/replaced. He was very professional. The estimate was for painting of trim in my hallway, master bedroom, child's room and bathroom. It included painting of the walls and ceiling. My walls and celing was in poor condition. It required a lot of prep work before the painting could even be done. His crew came to the house and completed the job in 2 days. His crew was not only very careful with taping, painting and spraying, they also had to put up with my 2 unruly dogs and rather active 4 year old. They did it all with a smile. Everything was covered and cleaned when they were through. Every question was answered that I had and they explained what they were doing through the whole process.I highly recommend this company for any painting job you are looking into. I will definately hire them again.

Todd is wonderful to work with and his crew is extremely professional. He came on Monday to estimate the job and they started on Wednesday. They were done on Friday. My new house is beautiful. Todd assured us that if we find anything at all that needs correcting to call right away. I will use them again for sure!

Had three estimates. Received a prompt response and quote from Todd. He was forthcoming with the process from start to finish and answered all of my questions. He had the job completed within the week. Appreciated the professionilism of the painting team. Todd came by daily to see how the job was going. They did a great job of clean-up.

Great - easy to deal with and professional.

Good experience on the bid, and I was pleased that no sander was used to remove paint because our house is older, with possible lead paint underneath.

Terry met me the day I called to get a quote. In addition to the painting quote, he mentioned they could improve the appearance of my previous homeowner's poor drywall job. The price I paid included the patching/work they did to the drywall prior to painting. The job took 2 days. They were friendly and prompt. I would use them again.

Todd was extremely punctual and gave us an estimate on the spot. The estimated price was the final price and was was very fair. Work began immediately and was finished within the stated time. In addition to the painting, he restored the finish on extremely weathered cherry front door. The work was superb and absolutely superior to any other painter we've employed. Clean up was excellent. In addition to the painting, he was a resource for absolutely superior craftsmen for other projects we were considering. Todd provided excellent customer service and very personal attention. One problem that arose after the painting was completed was attended to promptly and professionally. We will use him again and recommend Shelton Painting highly.

Todd is very responsive and was quick to give reasonable quotes. We were able to schedule the work quickly and his crew was polite and very professional. They did a great job of painting and Todd made good recommendations for the kind of paint we should use in the various rooms, but he was also happy to work with our preferences as well.

Excellent, I strongly believe no one in the Twin Cities or State of Minnesota is more talented and Professional than Todd and Dan's Crew. I was so impressed by some previous work performed by Shelton's Painting, I hired them to scrape the popcorn off of my ceilings. The end result.....My ceilings look flawless. I have been in other homes where the same type of work was done and I can see some imperfections. Todd, Dan and their crew will make sure you do not see any. Not only did they Scrape the ceilings to perfection they also repaired and even re-taped many areas that had not been done properly and were covered up with the popcorn texture. I had 2 water spots on the ceiling from the previous owners of the house and Shelton Painting removed both of them. When the ceiling was originally installed, there were some areas were the ceiling drywall had not been taped. Shelton Painting recognized this and repaired the issue as well as many other small repair issues at no extra cost. What was even more impressive, Dan one of the owners came out to the residence after hours and visibly inspected the job performed and made any necessary repairs to make sure the ceiling looked flawless. This type of job can be extremely messy, however Todd, Dan and their crew made sure everything was protected and cleaned, leaving the area the same as it was before the job began. These guys are the best!

Todd came out within an hour of my initial phone call to give an estimate. He was informative and helpful and provided a written estimate on the spot. I was able to schedule them to come out the following week to paint. 3 workers showed up on time the first morning and did a thorough job of moving and covering all the furniture. They were professional and did a great job painting. I'd definitely recommend Shelton.

He responded promptly to the call to give us a bid. It was reasonable and with the high ratings from Angie's List we went forward with him to do the work. He was able to do the job within a week. The job was a multi-day project which involved various steps of preparing the front door both inside and out for staining and painting. He did an excellent job. He keep his work area neat. He communicated well with us about the darkness of the stain that we wanted. We were very pleased.

The best overall experience I encountered by any type of contractor. I called several Painting Contractors on Monday Nov. 16th at approximately 10:00A.M., was told by all of them that they would come out to give me an estimate later in the week. I called and spoke to Todd Shelton, he came out to meet with me at 1:00P.M. the same day. He came out and walked me though the entire process, very professional. I requested to have my garage doors painted as well as all the trim, including windows. I also requested to have my Deck cleaned and stained. Tuesday the day after we spoke, Dan Todd's Partner, was out to pressure wash my deck, wednesday Todd and Dan had a crew of 6 people out to my property to Prep and Paint. The crew worked throughout the day non-stop, I stopped by the property on several occasions and no one was standing around. The attention to detail by the crew was impeccable. They final outcome of the project was worth every penny spent. They restored my deck to a new appearance, they did an excellent job, making sure every square inch was cleaned, prepped and stained. Both Todd and Dan were out several times during the entire process to make sure everything was going according to plan. The crew was polite and very mindful of their surroundings making sure everything was clean throughout the process. The incredible thing throughout the whole process, was that I called Todd Shelton on Monday for a quote and by the end of the week everything was completed. I would feel proud to recommend Shelton Painting to anyone in that not only are you hiring a talented Crew but you also are hiring a company that will treat and care for your home as if they were working on their home.

Better than splendid. Wonderful isn't adequate. Shelton and his guys are great. They use the best materials and their skilled teamwork is a pleasure to behold. I chose them because of their Angie's list rave reviews and am delighted to add my voice to so many others. The things I wish had been different: One, I should have called them earlier (before attempting the wallpaper myself) and Two, I should have listened closer to Shelton's recommendations when he first made them. He always ended up being right.

The home is in Minnesota. I live in Arizona. The service felt like it happened one mile away. These guys are great!
