Excellent work as always. Professional, neat, and clean. Great communication, too. Our deck (cedar) was a real mess, due to us waiting too long to have it re-stained. But the careful powerwashing and cleaning made it look like new, and that was BEFORE the stain was applied! I couldn't believe how much care and time were taken to bring our deck back to life. Dan showed us a variety of stain colors and types to choose from. We are extremely pleased with the outcome and as always, appreciate the extra touches (no charge) such as replacing one of the stair treads (I had the wood but no saw and no talent for DIY stuff) and making sure the job site was spotless at the end. True pros, and we would never think of using anyone else.

Todd was great to work with - he gave good suggestions on color for the walls and the interior of the closets. His team did a good job and were respectful of our home. They moved furniture, covered everything in plastic and moved everything back on the completion of the project. They even finished a couple of days early as he was able to add additional staff. I marked him with a B for professionalism due to one of his staff members who was not professional and Todd dealt with him. They did a great job and our home looks wonderful!

Disruptive as painting often is, the crew made it easy. They planned the work to get the MOST intrusive parts out of the way first, then with plenty of warning they followed up with other interior areas. Everything was completed exactly as needed, and very fast (2 days total, interior; 1 day total, exterior). Exterior work was thorough and speedy, and involved "wrapping" much of the not-to-be-painted areas with tape and plastic. The guys bothered to pay attention to our needs and yet worked constantly and hard. Thus the exterior was done in one day, AND the homeowners could just ask to get the driveway cleared when we needed to get the car out. IMPORTANT: they clean up after themselves perfectly. Recommended very very highly.

The estimate was great and he was very professional. He answered right away when I called and was very polite. He wasn’t able to get the work done in the timeframe that we needed.

Shelton Painting arrived a day early and completed the project in the estimated timeline. We had drywall repair that was needed on the Main & Basement Floor ceilings as well as repair on Basement corner wall. The repair was done very well and did a great job of matching to the existing drywall pattern. Once the drywall was repaired, they painted the ceilings and completed touch up painting where needed. In addition, we asked for additional stairwell walls to be painted that was outside of the original bid and they completed this without issue. When all the work was completed they did a thorough job of cleaning up. Overall, they did an excellent job and I would definitely use them again.

Todd and crew were great! They just spent the last week here working on our town home. They arrived on time every day and every member of the crew was friendly, professional, hard working and they worked amazingly fast! We were initially told two weeks and they were done in 6 days. The work is beautiful and they cleaned up after themselves nicely. Will gladly recommend to others and will use them again for future projects.

They were good at what they did. I can't say they cleaned up the best afterwards. We still have stuff on our windows. We talked and they said they will send someone out to finish that. They were professional. He was courteous.

Dan came out to give me an estimate on power washing the exterior of our home and then was able to schedule it during an opening he had about a week later. Dan power sprayed the siding, gutters and fascia all around the house. The back of the house is two and a half stories tall because we have daylight windows in the basement. Some of the fascia had many years of (black) dirt build up on white trim. The siding is about 6 years old but certain areas were filthy. Dan took hours to thoroughly clean and climbed up a ladder to reach areas that are totally out of reach for us. I didn't realize how close to the surface he had to work. You really need to have someone who knows what they are doing, otherwise power-washing can cause damage. I did see some extremely low coupon offers from other companies on Angie's list but I have had Shelton Painters do some painting for us a few years ago and they are worth every penny.

Todd and his team recently completed a complete overhaul of the trim, walls and paint at our home (built in the 40s). From the get go, Todd was great to work with. He promptly gave us an estimate back in April and then when we were ready to do the work, he followed up with us and did a walk-through, confirming all details. His crew is professional, efficient (finished in about 4 days), neat (they are picky about their work and cleaning up) and knowledgeable. Todd also helped us with paint choices, suggesting some creative ways to transition interior paint colors between rooms. Shelton Painting is very customer service oriented and responsive, which makes all the difference. We really enjoyed working with Todd and felt that our project was in the hands of trusted professionals throughout the project. The results indicate that we were correct --- our house looks amazing. They did a great job on the ceilings. They hung plastic to minimize the mess and cleaned everything up so that I could move in and not have any messes to clean up first. With the hall painting, one wall had a big bump in it that was plaster. I think the area had been patched but it was wavy and a mess. Shelton painting straightened out the wall and did a beautiful paint job. They were on time and finished up in a couple of days.

, Todd came to the house shortly after I contacted the company He explained the process and let me know what I needed to do before the painting could start (empty china cabinets etc. so the furniture could be moved). We discussed the entire processwhat kind of paint to use and he gave me the name of a colorist to help me choose colors. The work was beautiful. The crew was professional and made sure not to drip paint on anything. My floors had recently been refinished, and were as beautiful after the painting as before. I recommend Shelton Painting to any and everyone. I will definitely use them again.

Very pleasant to work with. Todd came out to do the bid within 2 days of calling. Scheduled the work for June 10, but I had a schedule conflict, so we changed to June 20. The guys did a fantastic job prepping, protecting floors & furniture. They painted perfectly around the wire shelves in the closets and patched about 50 nail holes! Everything looks great! Outside, the worker did a great job prepping and scraping the peeling paint. He caulked around the windows and gave everything 2 coats of paint. All of the workers took care to leave my home clean. They took all the trash and put the furniture back and even vacuumed the carpet before they left! The best part is that they got the whole project finished in one day! I will definitely call them again when I need more painting done.

They were very friendly and kind. They were on time and thoughtful. I told them upfront that I don't like strangers in my house and that I am a very picky person. I allowed them to work in my house while I was working, even though I don't like to do that due to past bad experiences with other kinds of workers. It is very difficult in this time to let strangers in your home that will be trustworthly and not go through your personal belongings or be in rooms they are not supposed to be in. These are our homes.They didn't bother me with their details and they did a beautiful job. I wish I would have done it sooner. It brings me such joy to open the door and see the beautiful job they did. If anyone out there is thinking about hiring these people, please do so. They were GREAT. No problems. Eagan, MN

It went well and they were very accomodating to a tight schedule. The only problem, and I may have contributed to this by not taking down the closet hanging system myself, was that putting the shelves back in the closet was a nightmare. The brackets had been taken down by the painter and replaced but they were not secure because the holes for the screws were no longer viable----I don't know enough about drywall but I guess it was just not taking in the screws. Anyway, I powered on through and put the shelves up anyway and they look pretty good. The painting job itself was very professional and looks great! I only marked them down on quality because of the closet issue.

It went very well. Some paint pulled off the walls where the painter had taped plastic up by the ceiling. I was desperate to get the work done ASAP and the company responded immediately. I thought as did anyone I mentioned it to, that the price was very high, as I already had all the woodwork and baseboards taped for painting the walls, and the furniture was moved together into the center of the room. The price is my only complaint, and maybe that is a correct price for 144 square feet of ceiling paint, I did not get other estimates.

We had ice dam damage in our living room. Shelton Painting removed the damaged drywall in the ceiling, patched and painted the entire ceiling. It took a days and many coats of mud to get the patch to blend in and all looked good. But now after 2 years, the outline of the patch has cracked and is visible again. I don't know that visitors would notice, it is just something I see when sitting on the sofa because I know it is there. Shelton Painting was great to work with and I would hire them again.

Shelton painting was able to come out to provide an estimate very quickly. They were willing to be flexible in scheduling the repair around all those involved - drywall and texture were done on one day and the painting was completed a few days later. Overall we were very satisfied.,

This is the second time I have used Shelton. Both times I have been very pleased with the results. Tom arrived on time for the estimate. After selecting Shelton, Tom and the crew arrived right on time. The work was done in 3 days. They do a high quality job. Highly recommened, and will use again.

It went great, the crew arrived on time and started work straight away, they were great!! The painting was completed in two days and it has transformed the house. The guys were prosfessional and did a fantastic job, but also left the house in immaculate condition even though they had to sand. We will def be using Todd again for anything we want painted. These guys are great.
