4 men came out and scraped and then painted with 2 coats the trim on my house. This mostly involved the bottom of all the windows. It was all last painted by Shelton 4 years ago. With Dan as supervisor the job was very thorough and well-done. When the painting was finished, Dan went around and made sure nothing had been missed. I really appreciated that. Owner Todd Shelton stopped by at the beginning of the job to check on things and give instructions to Dan.

They are high on the price but they get the work done. The owner of the company had been in business for many years and they got the work done in one day. They did two coats on the wall and you have to wait a little while to get to them. They did a splendid job and they were helpful in bringing color. They did not mess up the ceiling and the boards. They kept my carpet clean. It took a while for them to come out.

Prompt, professional service! Great attention to all the details and did a wonderful job with prep and clean-up. The paint job looks beautiful and they finished everything in less than 2 days which we really appreciated- the inconvenience of having all of our furniture in the middle of the rooms was minimal given they finished so quickly and did high quality work!

They gave me a bid in May. At my request they agreed to do the work in August. In August I called them and asked if we could postpone until September, and they accommodated my request. In early September they came out, did the job (very quickly, I might add) and cleaned up well. Dan and Todd and their crew were very pleasant to work with. The garage looks great. They even painted the gutters.

They did a very good job. We were matching paint to paint our house to get it sold, and they did a very good job at matching it. I had tried and he was able to match the paint, so you couldn't tell the difference. They were reliable, they taped things, they did a good job, they did prep work, and they made sure there wasn't paint on anything.

I can't say enough about how much I like Shelton Painting. I've always worked with Todd and crew lead Riley. They make a great team although I know there's a full cast of support characters behind the scenes making them look good, they deserve props. They're straight to work in the morning and did a bang up job on my condo. Painted everything, completed all the repairs that were necessary, did a fantastic job, and cleaned up after themselves before they left. Todd is always good about returning calls, in fact he was so considerate he called me the night befoer (on Labor Day, a federal holiday) to make sure he had the right address so the guys would be set up for success I'll never use another painter again, I've worked with a lot of contractors for various jobs over the years, these guys are the real deal. Every time is just as good as the first. Todd is honest, straight to work, and really great at making recommendations for the job but never any pressure to do more than what's needed. I always get more than my money's worth, in fact the guys clean up after themselves. They left my place looking better than i found it. True craftsmen who care about their work. These are the kind of people you want on your job.

I left a message on August 8 for a bid for drywall patching and painting and have not received a call back. It is so frustrating to do all this research on Angie's List, find what you think is a good contractor and then not get a return phone call. I was very hopeful about this painter but am sadly disappointed.

It was different quotes for different places. They were very good. The guy was very nice. He is a gentleman and it was great. He seemed to be well qualified. It's a possibility that we may choose him because we have not made any commitments to anything whatsoever as we are not sure when or what we want to do with this.

Todd was prompt and responsive with an estimate and providing an accurate start date for our project. The painters he sent (Dave and Jesse) were courteous, friendly and professional. A job that was projected for two days actually took only one, albeit a long day for the guys. Clean-up was very good. We did a final walk through and found a couple minor details that needed touching up which they did immediately. We can't get past the feeling that we overpaid. We discussed it with Todd and he was pretty adamant that the price was fair and maybe it was, but it still doesn't feel like it. We would certainly get a bid from them for any future work, but we would get other bids as well. We got everything we wanted so maybe it was worth it. Maybe.

The company was responsive on phone and was punctual on coming over for appointment on time. Provided an estimate for some interior painting. I had received two other painter bids. Shelton Painting was substantially higher, by $2000. I did not use.

They did a fine job. Everything there was good. I decided to go with them because of pretty much of the discussion about what was going to happen and the absolute clarity of the pricing and they delivered. As a matter of fact, they basically exceeded my expectations. They did all these painting that would have taken me in a month in a day. They were good. They kind of did what they said they would do. Matter of fact, I would even say that they sort of under promised and over delivered which is always a smart thing to do.

I have hired Shelton Painting for a few other paint jobs in the past and found them to be the best due to their prep work, quality of paint used, punctuality and clean up. Previous outstanding jobs included our deck and main floor bath. Last year Dan came out to clean the siding on our house & it made such a difference. (It's very hard work when done to their standards.) My bathroom was red with a dark rag wash. I wanted to give it a more up to date color and Todd suggested picking up some of the subtle blue gray tones of the floor tile. Jim arrived exactly on time. He had to tape and patch a section of wall in the toilet room that the plumber had cut to insert a new valve. Todd arrived with only one gallon of paint and I was convinced that it wouldn't be enough for two coats of paint to cover the red paint. I'm not sure how he managed it but the coverage was great and it looks like a new room. Clean up was thorough. I will be having Shelton Painting back out to paint the front exterior trim and porch of my house. Because my house faces south, it takes a beating from the sun and wind. We have been using Sherwin Williams Duration paint and it seems to hold up well. It is most critical to have someone like Shelton Painting do the exterior work because the extensive prep work they do really pays off. They hand paint and always double coat. I'm looking forward to having the exterior done to make the house look like new.

Arrived on time and did a great job of prep work, floor protection, etc. They worked all day to get everything painted with two coats. I am not sure the wall behind the fridge got two coats as they hadn't put on the first one at 4 and they were done at 5:30. As time goes on I have found two sections of tape they missed removing. One was on a kitchen cabinet door where touch up will be needed. It was an awkward spot and the door should have been removed. I was remiss to get really specific as to what I wanted to be painted which you MUST do. I assumed the inside of the front door, which is the same color as the walls, would be painted, but it was not so that job is left to me. There are a few touch-ups I have found that I will also take care of. The basement door nail holes were not filled which I also assumed would be done, but weren't...my fault. When all is said and done I am thankful everything is painted and I didn't have to do it.

Really liked Todd, who came out to my house to give me an estimate. There is no question he is an experienced and knowledgable painter! He clearly knows what he is doing and I would have full confidence that I would be satisfied with their workmanship. Ultimately we chose another painter for the job based on their earlier availability. They were booked until September which probably speaks to their demand.

The paint project went great, so much so, that after they finished the first level, I decided to go ahead and have them paint the second level. Todd and his crew were pleasant, punctual and nice people to deal with. They did a great job and left the place spotless. I am really impressed with the quality of service. I would highly recommend this company.

It went great. They did a terrific job. They were prompt and they worked with me on a very tight schedule. They were courteous, clean, and trustworthy.

Todd and his crew were very friendly and professional. They got right back to me to schedule an estimate. I was concerned about the sheetrock repair because we were having electrical work and a pipe moved and I knew that when Todds crew came back to repair the sheetrock there would be a lot more damage. Todd assured me that regardless of how much more damage there was he would not charge anything more. On the day of the job they got here promptly. They had to work around a plumber who was moving a pipe and did so effortlessly. They even touched up some painting my husband had done in the hall for us. The room they painted is beautifully done. The ceilings look great! We had one sheetrock area that wasn't quite how we wanted it and they got back within days to touch it up. The crew who were here were great to work with. All around this was a great experience and I won't hesitate to use them again.

We hired them to paint 3 rooms, 1 closet, and a hallway. They were able to get us on the schedule very quickly and completed the work in one day. However, we noticed the next day that they had damaged the top of a brand new dresser in several places and attempted to hide the damage. They will be paying for the repair, but I would have felt better if the responsible person had been honest about the damage. The issue most likely arose because they set paint cans, tools, and coffee cups on top on the furniture, without taking care beyond a thin plastic drop cloth. Using cardboard for setting things on could have prevented this.

Scott did a great job, he was very responsive via phone and email, and it was easy for me to call the office and pay over the phone. The cost was slightly more than what I was hoping to pay, but the job was well done and it was worth it. We had him paint a ceiling in a rental unit we own, and the tenants were very happy with the completed work and it was easy for them to coordinate a date and time with Scott. Overall very good communication and quality, would definitely call Scott again for painting needs in the future.

Fast, professional ... the crew was great, the work was done well and they took care to protect our furniture, etc.. Cleanup and disposal was part of the deal. Highly recommended! Their bid came in at half the cost of competitors!

Todd and his crew did an excellent job. They were punctual, professional, and very tidy. Our house was built in 1948 and the ceilings had cracks, damaged plaster, and peeling paint. Now they are smooth and look like new.

The painting crew did excellent work. They were neat, detailed and efficient.
