+ -1 moreWent well, she was accessible and came over and gave me her thoughts on my project. I think her bid was more than fair. She was punctual and accommodating. I did notice a crack in my skim coating that I will ask her to fix/update. I would consider her for my next project.
Description of Work: Shar painted my kitchen which required some skim coating of the older portion of the kitchen and she sealed windows and doors around the 1st level of the house.

+ -1 moreWe had heard about Shar's work from several friends. She'd done a great job in "upscale" houses we'd seen and had helped out a handicapped friend with her condo. We hired her when my wife fired me from painting, which was actually just after I told her I was retiring. Shar came over, looked over the house and some of the colors I had splashed on the walls for effect, and guided us through the difficulties of marital color dynamics. Then she cheerfully worked around a busy family of four without any of us feeling like we were in the way. She didn't even get mad when the dog ate her lunch. I thought I was too picky (or cheap) to ever let someone else paint my house, but I have seen the light. She's a gem.
Description of Work: Shar painted the inside of our hundred year old house. She fixed all the cracks, caulked around the windows and outlets and helped us choose the colors. She also fixed a few of my unfinished projects like grouting a patch of kitchen tile and winterizing the whole house fan.
