I called Mike and he was able to come out the next day (a Friday). He gave me an estimate on replacing 50' of rotting 3 1/2' high big box store picket fence and gate with 4' red cedar. Originally I was going to use the existing posts, but over the weekend decided that new posts would be the best way to go in the long run. I called him the following Tuesday and he had no problem with the change. Xcel had to come out and mark the water and gas lines before he could do the job and they came out the next day. I came home from work that Friday and the entire job was done! The fence and gate look great. I was glad he was able to use a quick set cement to set the posts because I needed to keep my dogs contained and couldn't go without a fence for more than a day. The crew cleaned everything up, hauled everything away, and didn't trample over the flower bed. It's almost like they were never there. I will definitely call them again if I need to replace the rest of my (privacy) fence.

Everything went very well. They came out in a couple days after being contacted for an estimate and we got a written estimate on site. The workmanship on the fence is excellent and I thought that the price was good as well. The workman took care not to damage the perennial beds which bordered one side of the fencing. The only issue I had was that it took a couple days to get someone in person to schedule the work after we signed the estimate. Since it was high season, I would recommend sending them an e-mail requesting a call and stating the best times to reach you. That worked very well for me. However that was relatively minor and otherwise we were very pleased.

Company did a good job. Timely work and completed upon the agreed upon time. I felt they also provided some good suggestions as to the ultimate layout of the fencing.

The placement of the fence is closer to my garage, and they used a generate which ended up blowing fuses, and I had to call an electrician to have the problem corrected. some of the post were lose as well.

Jim was very quick to come out and give an estimate and his recommendations. He answered all my questions. These guys were super punctual and courteous. My job was on the schedule in less than two weeks (earlier than I thought they'd be ready for me!). They installed the fence EXACTLY to my requirements and needs. They filled in the holes left from the old fencing and not one piece of garbage was found. Just what I needed.

Excellent job. Estimator and workmen arrived in advance of scheduled times. Estimator, Jim, was knowledgeable about the products and suggested a solution to a difficult area. Mike adjusted the estimate to our needs and got a crew out to do the job in half the time he initially estimated. The two men did a terrific job in one day and we are delighted with the result.

Mike was on time for our initial meeting. He was friendly, very helpful and easy to work with. His crew was out within a couple of days to install the posts. Once the cement had set they returned the following week and installed the fence. This type of fence is very labor intensive but they worked quickly and did an excellent job. They cleaned up after themselves. I've had many compliments on the fence. I would definitely work with them again.

Mike was polite & punctual. The diagram he made was really helpful. A full description of the work was listed. We ended up not needing a fence.

The company was prompt in providing an on-site estimate, including attention to detail of matching and straightening existing fence. The workers were equally prompt in completing the installation of the fence repairs.

They were very fast and polite. They did great quality work.

Immediate response to initial phone calls. Immediate estimate. Repair the next morning. Friendly, accomodating - no non-sense...

Workers arrived as scheduled, did the work as promised, and cleaned-up before leaving.

Everyone was very professional and courteous and hard working. They also did an excellent job dealing with my insurance company to get the most money we could get in order to have a new fence installed. Their quote was very competitive with other bids we got, and the fence is beautiful and sturdy. We would highly recommend them and would use them again if necessary.

I contacted Security Fence in an attempt to get an estimate. I was only able to get to voicemail. I left a message mentioning I had found them via Angie's List, described the project, and requested an estimate, leaving my phone number and city. I received no response. Approximate cost is based on estimates received from other companies. I have not yet decided on a final company.

I called to get an estimate for repair of damage. He wouldn't come out to look at it because I live in Forest Lake and it is too far-- although this report states that he would service the area. Asked me to explain what was wrong, gave me a number but wouldn't put anything in writing since he didn't come out to look at it. Basically, he just plan out didn't want to be bothered.

WE FOUND THIS COMPANY TO BE HIGHLY PROFESSIONAL AND RESPONSIVE. WE NARROWED DOWN OUR CHOICE BETWEEN SECURITY FENCE AND THE COMPANY WE CHOSE. WE DID NOT PICK THEM BECAUSE THEY WERE SLIGHTLY HIGHER THAT THE COMPANY WE CHOSE AND THE OTHER COMPANY WAS EQUALLY RATED ON ANGIE'S LIST. WE DID FEEL THEY WOULD DO A GOOD JOB FOR US AND WOULD CONSIDER THEM FOR ANOTHER PROJECT.

JIM WAS QUICK TO RETURN MY PHONE CALL & VERY PLEASANT ON THE PHONE. THEY WERE EVEN ABLE TO COME OUT LATER THAT DAY. JIM WAS VERY WILLING TO WORK WITH ME & THEIR PRICE WAS VERY REASONABLE. NOT THE LOWEST OUT OF THE FOUR ESTIMATES ($4000), BUT THE ESTIMATE WAS DETAILED & OVER $1400 BELOW THE TOP TWO OTHER COMPANIES. ALTHOUGH IT WAS A FAMILY DECISION TO DO THE WORK OURSELVES, WE WOULD HAVE CHOSEN SECURITY FENCE IF WE'D HAD IT CONTRACTED.

I HAD SOME SECTIONS OF FENCE I HAD TAKEN DOWN FOR CONSTRUCTION. THE FENCE SECTIONS NEEDED TO BE REFITTED AND REHUNG. JIM CAME OUT AND PROPOSED TO INSTALL THE FENCE POSTS AND THEN CUT UP MY EXISTING FENCE PANELS INTO THE SAME SIZED PANELS. DOING IT THIS WAY, I WOULD NOT HAVE HAD ENOUGH WOOD AND NEW WOOD WOULD HAVE TO BE ADDED. HE ALSO GAVE ME A VERY EXPENSIVE OPTION OF REPLACING THAT WHOLE SECTION OF FENCE FOR $2186.00. THE ABOVE PRICE HE QUOTED WAS DOUBLE WHAT I ACTUALLY SPENT JUST REHANGING THE PANELS AS THEY WERE. WHEN OTHER BIDDERS CAME BY I DID TELL THEM TO JUST QUOTE ME FOR REHANGING THE PANELS AS IS, NO CUTTING OF THE PANELS.

SECURITY FENCE INSTALLS FENCING USING FORCE RATHER THAN CONCRETE. THEY USE AN AIR HAMMER TO DRIVE THE FENCE POSTS THUS ELIMINATING WASTE FROM THE PROCESS. COMPANY WAS EASY TO WORK WITH, VERY PUNCTUAL AND PROVIDED EXCELLENT PRICE. FREE QUOTE WITH NO PRESSURE, EXPLAINING THE DIFFERENCE IN METHOD AND THE MATERIAL. CREW WAS ON TIME AND WORK WAS FINISHED IN 1 DAY! FINISHED PRODUCT WAS EVEN, CORRECT, AND EXACTLY HOW IT WAS DESIGNED.

MIKE OLZESKE WAS VERY PUNCTUAL IN COMING TO OUR HOME FOR AN ESTIMATE. IN DECIDING TO GO AHEAD, EVERYTHING RAN VERY SMOOTHLY. THE TWO GENTLEMEN THAT ACTUALLY INSTALLED THE FENCE WERE EXTREMELY POLITE, HELPFUL AND EFFICIENT. WE WERE VERY IMPRESSED WITH THE SERVICE.

PROMPT ARRIVAL, THOROUGH DISCUSSION AND DETAILED, IMMEDIATE ESTIMATE. I AM STILL GATHERING OTHER ESTIMATES, BUT PROBABLY WILL HAVE THE JOB DONE BY SECURITY.

MIKE AND HIS CREW WERE VERY NICE TO WORK WITH. THEY WERE VERY FAST AND EFFICIENT AND SHOWED UP ON TIME. THEY HAD ALL THE POSTS (11 TOTAL) DUG AND POURED BY NOON. THEY CAME BACK IN ABOUT A WEEK AFTER THE CONCRETE SETTLED AND ADDED THE PICKETS (THERE WERE SOME RAIN DAYS IN THERE SO THAT'S WHY IT TOOK A WEEK). THE FENCE LOOKS GREAT AND THE PRODUCT IS OF GOOD QUALITY. IT'S VERY DECORATIVE AND SERVES IT'S PURPOSE FOR SECURITY AS WELL. I PLAN ON PAINTING IT WHITE AND NOT STAINING IT. I DIDN'T WANT TO PUT UP CHEAP FENCING FROM THE LOCAL BIG BOX USERS BECAUSE TOO MANY OF MY NEIGHBORS HAVE THEM AND THEY ARE ALL FALLING APART BECAUSE THEY ARE NOT QUALITY WOOD AND ARE PUT UP IN 6' PANELS. MY FENCE WAS CUSTOM MADE FROM SCRATCH AND NOT BY SOME MASS PRODUCTION PLANT. SECURITY FENCE WARRANTIES THEIR FENCE FOR 5 YEARS SO THAT WAS A PLUS WITH ME. I TOOK ADVANTAGE OF A COUPON THAT ANGIE'S LIST HAD FOR A FREE GATE SO THAT SAVED ME $75. I HAD THE WORK DONE IN MAY OF 2005.

SECURITY FENCE DID A NICE JOB OF WORKING AROUND MY SCHEDULE AND KEEPING ME UPDATED. THE BUFFTECH VINYL FENCES TAKE A WHILE FOR FULFILLMENT FROM THE FACTORY. THE INSTALLATION WAS DONE QUICKLY AND THE FENCE LOOKS PERFECTLY STRAIGHT, STURDY, AND ATTRACTIVE. WOULD USE THEIR SERVICES ON FUTURE FENCING AND RECOMMEND THEM TO OTHERS.

CAME OUT WHEN THEY SAID THEY WOULD AND GAVE US AN ESTIMATE. WE ASKED FOR ESTIMATES FOR A FEW DIFFERENT JOBS. THE FIRST ESTIMATE DID NOT SEPARATE OUT THE COSTS OF EACH JOB, WE CALLED THEM BACK AND THEY SEPARATED EVERYTHING FOR US. WE ARE WAITING ON INSURANCE INFORMATION BEFORE THEY CAN DO THE WORK SINCE THE REPAIRS NEED TO BE DONE FOLLOWING AN AUTO ACCIDENT.

ESTIMATE DONE THE DAY AFTER WE CALLED. THE OTHER COMPANY WE CALLED DID NOT SHOW UP FOR AN ESTIMATE, SO THIS IS THE ONLY ESTIMATE WE GOT. THE PRICE SEEMED REASONABLE SO WE HAD THEM DO THE WORK. IT WAS A SMALL JOB SO THEY PUT US IN WHEN THEY HAD A SHORT DAY ELSEWHERE BUT THE WORK WAS STILL DONE WITHIN TWO WEEKS. THE INSTALLERS WERE SKILLED AND EFFICIENT. THE FENCE LOOKS GREAT AND THE GATES WORK WELL! THEY LEFT NO MESS. WE ARE VERY SATISFIED!
